The hotel is in a quiet part of the town. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and there is something for everyone. The staff were very helpful and especially Amanda who helped us. The hotel is an older building with plenty of rooms and it has its own character. It is close to the tram and underground. The carpets need to be replaced in certain areas but on the whole it was a very comfortable stay.

Excellent hotel with great friendly staff and well-equipped room. Lovely large room with great bathroom. Breakfast unfortunately although it had a wide variety of foods, was a free-for-all and rather crowded. But I don't hold this against them as they were dealing with a lot of guests. My only suggestion is to open the dining room/bar in the evenings for guests as it would save going out all the time. But I would understand if there are staffing issues in accomplishing that.

Nice recepcionist. Nice first view on lobby. Clean room. For brakfast was many choises and also lots of small cakes, so I had nice morning coffe. Fresh bread. In room i had 2 doors. One was my bathroom and anotherone was locked. In night I realised that it was door to bathroom anothers room. So I heard somebody on toilet and using hairdrawer in early morning. Shower random changed temperature of water. Hotel smells like old people and nobody take cares about hotel. It has very old forniture..

My husband and I visited this hotel last year, in October. Friendly staff, our room was clean and comfortable with a decent view. The Breakfast was delicious. The location is also very convenient. There is a large supermarket and a bus stop in front of the hotel. We would recommend this hotel.

I stayed here and given I travel on a new flight every week - I was highly disappointed. The wifi does not work (barely) and it looks like it has not worked for some time given other reviews. The breakfast in the morning is utter chaos, hardly anywhere to sit and food is average, very rich. Fine hotel but for €100 a night, I would expect the wifi to be at least very good. Disappointed.

See pictures to know how a ‘superior’ room looks like and how clean it is. I paid upfront via booking. WiFi is only available it the lobby. It is not available in the rooms. I had a clogged sink drain and I could not use the sink. During my 3-day stay they were changing the locks in all roomdoors in the hotel. A technician entered my room without knocking while I was in my room. The room was very noisy (construction on the other side of the street) though I asked for a quiet room. That is a 4-star hotel in Vienna…. I got a cleaner and quiet room on the last day. Manager is not present. I do not recommend.

The decor is high class looking and the staff is pretty friendly. The lifts are quite unique since it's pretty old. The beds are springy and relatively comfortable. The shower is like any other hotel but the hot water was quite inconsistent. Breakfast has a small variety of western food like bacon, ham and eggs. Salad was available as well.

Didn't get what I paid for. At this price range, I expected there to be a bathrobe (and a hook to hang it on) toiletries (hand cream, body wash, lotion, hand soap, facial cleanser, etc) I didn't expect to use liquid handsoap for everything. The furniture cushions were either really old or haven't been cleaned in ages. There were stains on every chair and couch cushion in both rooms. I was informed only AFTER I made the booking, that I wouldn't be able to use the phone in my room nor order room service, and that several services that are normally enjoyed by guests at hotels of this price, were just not available. They claimed it was because they recently opened this location, but if that's the case, shouldn't every piece of furniture be clean and new? And if they're trying to attract new/more clientele shouldn't they make sure all the amenities are open and available at their new location? Pick a different hotel.

Definitely not a four star hotel, old fashioned atmosphere, furniture, decorations. A bit sad and dark, but clean enough and spacious rooms, with a small table and two armchairs, enough space for storage and a good makeup mirror in thebathroom. Many issues with the room keeping, there was an issue with the water running on the bathroom floor and they fixed it after three days, no glasses in the room, no space in the bathroom for putting your toiletries, the steam absorber didn't function and only a socket to charge the mobile phone and it was in the entrance hall at the floor level. If you need to use the minibar, you have to unplug either the lamp or the tv, as there were only 3 sockets for 3 lamps, a tv and the minibar. The biggest problem was the WiFi which didn't work during the 5 days of our stay in the hotel. The reception staff was ok, especially Anna and Rudy, both very helpful and nice. Breakfast was ok, but not for a 4 star hotel, kinda large variety of food, warm and cold cuts, fresh apples and cut vegetables and a good coffee. Good connection to the city centre by metro U4 and tram line D.

Although the hotel claims to be renovated, you get no such feeling. The reception ladies should be faster, speak better english and be more helpful. The breakfast was good. Good location, close to a main tram line, but overall the price-quality ratio was not as good as we had hoped.

I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. Similar to many of the comments here, the cleanliness standards were below par, with rooms poorly cleaned, dusty, and unpleasant odors from the toilets. I don’t think the cleaning staff use any cleaning material. Maybe the hotel is trying to save up on the expense of giving customers an unpleasant experience. Despite its dated style, it doesn't live up to a 4-star rating. The breakfast was chaotic, with unhelpful staff, and tables that didn't smell clean. Plates, cups and cutlery all smell and came wet. It’s like they were washed without washing liquid!! Oh that was unpleasant. The limited toaster and low food quality added to the disappointment. I was also appalled to see the cleaning lady using the same cloth for all surfaces without cleaning materials. I only had breakfast twice in my 6-day stay due to these issues. The service and cleanliness did not match the price paid, and I won't return. The location was decent, but ongoing road work and a dodgy tram stop nearby were drawbacks, although there were amenities around the hotel.

Staff were helpful and humble. Hotel was bit far from the city center and station, Rooms light were dim , should have more light. Breakfast buffet was amazing and good.

hotel very furnished and cared for in its complexity. The rooms should be improved and updated, especially the triples. Vast and good breakfast. Perfect location, not even 50 meters away is the tram D stop, where in front there is a supermarket and McDonald's; a few meters further on, about 200 meters away, there is the subway. Also nearby are several very good pubs.

Super place to stay while in Vienna. Very convenient location, very helpful and courteous staff, good food and a great bartender. Employee of the hotel for me was Amanda who checked me in. Made me feel very welcome late in the evening after a very long flight, very courteous person and is a Shahrukh Khan fan! Cannot ask for more!

Had a really wonderful stay here during my time in Vienna! Rooms are clean and spacious, and the overall location is great - tram D that goes to the city center is right in front of the hotel! I'm especially thankful for the receptionist - Amanda, who was incredibly kind and helpful ☺️

The location of this hotel is really great. Eating options, the tram infront of the hotel, supermarkets, etc all nearby. The service is also pretty good. The reason I have dropped the rating to 4* is because of the extremely poor WiFi connectivity in the hotel, carpets that are torn and old in the corridors and steps and the really small lifts.

Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a room. This site will compare countless booking web sites and normally will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is the best rated in the area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you definitely won't be disappointed. Great location near public transport. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. All the staff are amazing, super helpful and friendly.

The staff were friendly, the rooms were well kept and a good size. The breakfast has a good variety of hot and cold foods and a very nice selection all around. The location was perfect for us because we travelled by public transport and the train station was only a 5 minute walk and a tram stop only a minute away!

Just like in the pictures. No noise, everything was quality. The food was delicious with some vegan options ( they could have added a bit more) Great experience, would visit again

I would not stay in this hotel again. Anyhow, we stayed here for four nights, and the cleaning service worked well. Our room was nice, clean and tidy, the air condition worked super well. The hotel was beautiful, quiet and nicely decorated. Breakfast was poor, and the food was constantly running out. Fresh vegetables and fruits were missing, and the quality of food was barely average; cucumber and paprika slices were dry and leathery and it seemed they were sliced like two days ago...as the guests of the hotel arrived for breakfast, there was no free tables as they were full of dirty dishes, apparently there wasn't enough staff members to clean them up etc. So the hotel guests had to clean the dirty dishes aside by themselves, which is bad from a four-star hotel, without saying. The service at the reception were mostly unfriendly; as we asked for two extra towels, the lady looked me long time with grumpy face and literally threw the towels to me. The whole time during our staying we had a feeling that we do not want to ask or bother any way the staff members. They seemed very busy and morose. The last morning of our stay, the cleaning service knocked our room door around 8.30 am and peeked into our room (I assume for looking if we had already left). Waking up hotel guests in the morning is really not what I expect form a four-star hotel.

The hotel was great, a wonderful self servery breakfast. Dinner wasn't as nice as breakfast. Housekeeping also spilled a bucket of water into my travel mate's open suitcase while cleaning his room. Which caused him a significant headache. Otherwise a wonderful hotel in a wonderful city.

Room needs a lot of improvement like no busket in the room, no plug next to the bed. Wifi disconnected the last two days during our stay. However, the staff is doing their best to help and serve you and the hotel is very clean and near everything.

Made a reservation and after a week or so they canceled my reservation 🙂 in fact the problem was that it was a busy period and they could ask more for the room.

Lovely hotel with old fashion look, we are satisfied with the location, staff and price. We really liked the old fashioned look of the hotel and spacious room with very nice interior. There is a Billa shop just across the street. From hotel there is a 100m to Tram station and 200m to Metro station. Because of renovation WiFi did't work for 2 days. I hope that will change in the near future when renovation is done.

So. I wanna start by saying that the place and location is great!! BUT the parking is a bit too far. In rest, it was amazing. Good breakfast and workers
