Room was clean, air conditioned with a small fridge. Anything else that was needed such as an iron was available at the reception. No kettle etc in the room but most of the time we were out sight seeing so such things were not needed for us. The pool and gym was a great addition in the hotel. I will definitely come back to this hotel as the people working in the hotel were very helpful and very polite. You could ask them as many questions as you need to and they will be happy to help. I wanted to praise one member of staff Christian who was the most friendly and amazing staff I have met on our road tour through Europe so far. He is just an amazing member of staff who is a bench mark of what customer service is all about. This staff deserves a promotion.

It is not far from the city center and easy to reach. Tram number 44 from Schottentor stops at the Yppengasse stop in front of the hotel. The U 6 Underground station (Alser Straße) is a 6-minute walk away. There is a Hofer store right next to the hotel. On Brunnengasse street, opposite the hotel; There is a restaurant, bakery and a street market where you can meet your various needs. The cleanliness and service of the hotel is good. I must say that the attic room we stayed in on the 7th floor was a bit small.

Very economy from the very beginning and totally depreciated as of the current moment, with awful smell from the pipes and completely non-professional cleaning team, who make a lot of noise but do actually clean the rooms; located on the middle of the depressive and dirty area. All of these is positioned and priced in 4* category. Photos on booking resources are very far away from the reality.

Checking out of the hotel tomorrow and here is my review: It’s not a 4 star hotel No restaurant just a cafe so info on booking websites is misleading No kettle in room Want a hot drink? There is no room service so you have to go down to the cafe and buy it and then bring it back up Want your room cleaned? Even having a sign on your door requesting the room to be cleaned will be ignored and you will come back to a messy room. You get what you pay for. I wouldn’t be that bothered if this was a 2 star property. If you are expecting something luxurious for a 4 star you will be disappointed.

We stayed at Exe hotel Vienna from 21 to 24 July 2022 and our experience was mostly satisfying. Some positives are the hotel reception staff that were very friendly and helpful. Upon our arrival the receptionist checked is in and then provided us with a map of Vienna and explained to us which tram to use to reach the city center and the most popular attractions, this was a great way for us to start our stay there. Tram 44 runs right in front of the hotel and we used it every day. Furthermore, we found several supermarkets around the hotel of which one was right next to it, Hover supermarket that is open from 7:40 to 20:00. We also found the surrounding area to be of fair quality and we considered it safe. We found the air conditioning in the room to be adequate as well. Breakfast was included in our stay and we were very pleased with the quality of the breakfast. Unfortunately there were also some cons as well. Our room did not have a kettle or mugs and we had to request it from reception which they did provide. The swimming pool was also very cold and not heated as advertised. In summary, we found the hotel to be very affordable and pleasant to stay and do reccomend it to other travelers.

So, where to begin. The pictures on the website were misleading. The fitnescenter was really mediocre and the pool area didnt have showers. Every morning I woke up to constant banging of bottles by the cleaning lady. I feel now that im surrounded by strange glass bottle cult run by Bosnian mafia.

This hotel would fancy some renovation. For this tremendous money you get only shity accomodation. The rooms situated into street (even in 7th floor) are horribly noisy, you cant sleep without ear plugs. The bed is not comfy neither. Pool is old and overheated sou it is barely impossible to swim in it. Breakfasts are fine - like probably the highlight od this poor hotel. The only really valuable thing in there is a staff - very friendly and helpful. Also our toillette has broken in the nudle of the stay and we needed to fix it by ourselves. And its really far far away from city center. Please do not stay in this hotel beceause “you cant polish a turd”.

the numbers look very old, the shower was broken, the bed was very uncomfortable to sleep on, the mattress was very hard, for a 4-star hotel they didn't have the basic slippers, not to mention other small things that weren't there. Impossible to sleep because it is very noisy, you can also hear the neighbors from the next rooms. I don't know why it has 4 stars, but it doesn't correspond, I'd rather say that the rooms look like 1 star, maximum 2.

Upon arrival we had an issue we were very unhappy with, however it was resolved as quickly as possible by the staff, specifically Aleksander and the manager, and our stay became excellent. The breakfast buffet was okay but we only ate bacon once and was dreaming that we will had every day bacon on breakfast. Sound proofing is off and we can hear noises even we used headphones on. The service, staff and location was so great perfect little escape in the busy road.

ok first thing the reception is nice, bright and spacious. on arrival and during the course of our 6 day stay the staff were brilliant. very helpful even though at times the language was a slight problem. our room was spacious with a nice big bed which is pretty firm. there is a bathroom cum shower which is quite limited for space. very tight with two in there and some larger people may find it a struggle.the location. it is about a mile from the old town on one of the main roads heading into the city. if you are after a nice view remember this is a city hotel. breakfast was skipped. very nice restaurant area but 30 euros breakfast for 2 is definitely not value for money. the area is well served with a couple of mini markets and plenty of coffee shops and restaurants. downstairs is a gym and swimming pool which sadly we did not have time to make use of. we would use it again.

I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The room is cozy and the staffs are very helpful. you will have to take to tram to the hotel and the tram is very easy to use. Wien is a nice city, coffee shop is everywhere!

Was nice staff were friendly. Rooms were really nice. On-site parking was really handy and the breakfast and gym/ swimming pool was also good.

One of the best budget friendly options in Vienna. We stayed 2 nights in Hotel Exe. Hotel Exe is located a bit far from old town area. There is a tram station right in front of the hotel so you can go to Schotten Tor station in 15 mins. Schotten Tor is a transfer station for other trams and metro. You can access to public transportation very easily. Other than its location it is a 5 star accommodation :) room was super clean, not very big but enough and staff was very friendly.

Good hotel with clean n comfortable room. It’s 15 to 20 minutes by cab to the main city. A supermarket just besides the hotel, all you need can be purchased from there. For cabs ask the reception they will assist.. breakfast is OK n enjoyable

The room was cleaned everyday and towels changed per request. There’s a train stop right outside the door. However, at night I could hear the person in the next room as if he was lying next to me in bed😅, and the coffee machine broke down 6-10 times per breakfast session for 3 days in a row. Highly recommend regardless

Nice place to stay. Rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels. Friendly staff, especially the girl who supplied us with breakfast to-go upon checkout since we had to leave before breakfast started. Bit outdated as some rooms have some 'cuts and bruises'.

We agreed on the dates and price. I confused the dates in the emails that followed and when we arrived there was no reservation. But there was a smaller cheaper room available. They used the fact we had no choice and charged more for the cheaper room than the original agreed price. The quality of the hotel is also not high. I can't understand how this is a 4 star hotel. Room was cheap and smelly, breakfast also not something to write about and the only stand out - the pool - is also cheaply done with some weird rubber on the floor+walls. If not the pool, there were much fancier, better located hotels for the price. And the pool was sleezy. Would never recommend or come back to this hotel for anywhere near this price.

I will not recommend it to anyone. The hotel is recognized as 4 stars, this is definitely misleading information for the customers, there are many issues with the room, heating and cooling system does not work either way, the room is super dry but if you want to open the window to get some fresh air, and your room is facing to the street then you will hear a lot of noises from the outside traffic. The ventilator in the bathroom makes noise like a helicopter. Cleaning is not probably done with still a lot of dust on the floor. Certain staff working in the restaurant can just grab sandwish and coffee for himself from the buffet where guests are getting breakfasts from which is quite strange to see. Even though the staff in the reception are quite helpful, the room itself is the biggest problem. Will not book this hotel again.

The staff were brilliant , good location room nice and clean staff cleaned every day fresh towels etc .only reason for 4 and not 5 is no facilities for tea or coffee even a kettle would surfise we would have bought tea coffee milk just needed this first thing in morning .would love to go back if there was these requirements were there

The place is clean some wear and tear. The outside has scaffolding up undergoing improvements but don't let this put you off. Good value for the price. Well located for the markets and restaurants. Breakfast is okay if you like continental.To get about get the 64 circular tram this will allow you to see all the sites and get you back to the same area.

We have stayed several nights in 7th floor. Good points: - clean room - tasty breakfast - location on tram 44 directly to the city center - nice staff Bad points: - damaged walls as seen on attached photos - thin walls between rooms, thus able to hear sounds from other rooms - loose screws on toilet - toilet was moving - no toilet brush (really? in 21th century?) - no coffee machine on room, no kettle for tee - bad toilet paper - single layer only - no shower, only bath tube - limited space over bath tube, risk for your head, see foto - broken lock on bathroom doors, thus unable to close it properly - only one access card for two people

Well located, calm and clean one. My room was the exact same thing which they have in site’s picture. The staffs were nice and help me to check in at 9AM

Great hotel with super-friendly staff, who are very supportive and oriented on guests' comfort. Although located about 2-3 km from city center, public transport is available right in front of the hotel (tram stop, subway), markets are very close. Very clean rooms, delicious and diverse breakfast, and super-tasty coffee! ❤️👍👍

I liked the hotel, but it could use improvements! The beds were not so comfy and a bit noisy.Also just one pillow per person. The windows had almost no sound isolation so basically you could hear everything outside from the bathroom window. Also hear sound from close by rooms. One elevator is a bit small, while the other is okay. Breakfast is good but nothing special, i would not get it standalone, for 15 euros per person you can get a good breakfast downtown. The location is nice, the tram is basically in front and metro station is also close.
