I recently enjoyed a stay at this hotel, and it fulfilled my expectations in several aspects. The room was nice and spacious, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The reception staff were attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in process and addressing any inquiries promptly. daily cleaning service, . The convenience of having a minibar in the room added a nice touch While the hotel is located slightly out of the city center, its strategic placement in front of an underground metro station made exploring the city hassle-free. The seamless connectivity allowed for easy access to various attractions and minimized travel time. Breakfast was a satisfying experience, with a diverse spread; however, I did notice a slight limitation in the fruit and vegetable options. Despite this, the overall quality of the breakfast offerings was fine. In summary, my time at this hotel was marked by spacious accommodations, attentive service, and convenient access to public transportation. I would gladly recommend it to fellow travelers seeking a positive and well-connected experience.

Clean room, decent priced, and very close to the U-bahn. There is also a grocery store right next door. Check-in and check out process were very easy, and service was good and friendly. The room itself was spacious, had tons of natural light, and was good overall. The area that this hotel is in is not the best, definitely one of the sketchier sides of town. The biggest issue I had here was the internet. It was so bad that instead of giving this place 5 stars, I'm demoting to 3 stars. Basically, the wifi is capped at a certain amount of gigabytes. When your allocation finishes, you have to disconnect and then reconnect and accept the terms of use again. Over my one week stay here, I had to do this so many times. I was working remotely from here and the internet made this nearly impossible to do seamlessly. Every video meeting that I had ended up with me being abruptly disconnected. Also, I ended up using a lot more mobile data than I would have because the wifi disconnects every 24 hours as well. Until they fix their bs wifi policies, I cannot in good faith recommend that anyone stay here. TL;DR room is nice and cheap, wifi policies will frustrate you into hating this place

The hotel is excellent, spacious, the rooms are large, clean and quite modern. We had no impression that it was a hotel with only 3 stars. The breakfast is great, adapted for different preferences, the children also enjoyed and looked forward to breakfast in the morning. The staff is friendly and accommodating. A big advantage is the parking within the hotel and the adjusted parking price for hotel guests. The location is really good, next to the metro station itself. We will definitely come again.

The hotel is located close to the metro station and recently has undergone the management change. The rooms were without proper lights and no toiletries (except for the shampoo cum body wash) at all which was surprising. The breakfast buffet was severely limited to cold servings. When this feedback was shared, the reply was rude - sorry we are like this! When I am paying a really good amount per day for the family room, I expect a certain level of quality. I won't recommend this hotel to anyone!

Good ambience but room service is poor. May be thats the tradition here. Breakfast was not included so had to pay 15 Euros for the breakfast however the breakfast was amazing and full of fresh foods of all sorts. Nice people around but mixed groups. The location of the hotel is amazing. Great to be there

Overall, it is a decent hotel with a good price service ratio. Positives: great location, only 3 minutes from metro station. Next to it, there's a Spar supermarket that you can pop up and buy anything needful. The front desk is polite and helpful and and they offer a luggage storage in case you stay a bit more in the town after you check out. Cons: The rooms are decent, and they look clean, although with a closer look, you can see they are not so (the floor it was not so clean, you could see glass marks on the headstand from previous guests). All in all, it is recommended for a short stay in the beautiful city of Vienna!

Excellent facilities, close to the subway, to the schonbrunn palace and it is cheap too. But, the double bed was actually made by putting two beds together and it did not feel comfortable. The fridge in the room was not working as well. Other than that, great !

Rooms are clean and in good condition (I reserved superior double), but toothbrush and toothpaste are not provided. Metro Station is very close and also the parking if you travel with the vehicle. Parking is payed separately (18 eur for 24 hours), and can't be accessed directly from the hotel. Hotel has very good value for money ratio and I would recommend it to businesses and leisure travel

Every aspect of our stay was excellent - from clean, spacious room to tasty breakfasts with large variety of food. Large upside is really close proximity to metro station. Couldn't expect more for the price. Would definietely recommend.

The family and I did a 9 night stay here. Location was great as it was just across Langenfeldgasse station and the pricing was fairly competitive (better than Toronto hotels). There is good value in the family room as long as you book in advance. Staff are very friendly and room service is there when requested. A few minor bad things that I experienced. There was some water damage on one of the corners in the room. I did not know until I arrived that booking online was only for reservation. Payment occurred upon arrival. The breakfast buffet for 15 EUR was an option but we did not take it. There are alternatives. This buffet could be okay on a Sunday morning as a lot of places are closed in Vienna. Overall a very nice hotel and a pleasant experience. I would consider Leonardo Hotels again when visiting Europe.

Super located, right next to the Hauptbahnhof. Breakfast is good and the rooms are comfortable. The pillows are too soft for me, but the rest was fine.

Very good location, you can easily go to Schönburnn Palace and the city centre with the metro which is near the hotel. The room was nice, but there could be more towels. And breakfast was amazing. So many choices!!! Overall recommend!

This hotel sits right across the U4 train- takes you to Wein Mitte to catch the Train ride going to the airport! Has clean towels, working AC, the room itself is clean - not perfect but it worked for me. The area is safe, grocery store in the same building and one across, restaurants close by. Highly recommended :-)

I wrongly booked the Star Inn near the Vienna train station which was a walking distance from the station. We had to take a short taxi ride to this hotel instead which was a surprise because it was in the quiet area of the city. Staff suggested a nearby restaurant which had an excellent Pizza.

Perfect hotel for a vacation, staff are so kind and rooms are super clean. What I liked the most was the AC, i went in summer July and the AC was super good. The food is good too. I would recommend it for a holiday stay alone, with family or with partner! X Location is super good 2 minutes away from the train station (that can takes you to central and many other places in just about 10-15 minu) Price was affordable.

Hotel has a great location, right by a metro station, supermarket and bike rental. Corridor carpet on third floor is quite dirty and makes it look like a cheap motel. Room is fine but it wasn't the cleanest, please make sure rooms are thoroughly clean. Pillows are too small and soft but beds are really comfortable. Breakfast was also good.

The hotel has a great location, right next to U Bahn station. You will have everything you need from the hotel for a short touristic stay. The service at the reception is nice, but the cleaning service should be a lot better. I think it depends on the cleaning person how your room will be cleaned and if they will change the towels etc. But, all in all, nice hotel, and I recommend you visit it.

.Nice ambience and most of the time the service was friendly. Great location, few meters from the metro station and two stops away from chonebrune palace Cleaning was an issue, we have been at the hotel for 4 nights and our room was cleaned barely twice, we had to sleep near the mess . they don't supply plastic trash bags, no kettle but they do supply a hair dryer and toilet paper. I'm not sure they changed sheets and towels. If you want some cleaning you need ask for it explicitly, otherwise you'll stay with your own trash.

Nothing to fault here. Lovely staff, nice clean rooms. Mini fridge and a coffee machine in a three star hotel were unexpected. Comfortable parking spaces in the garage and an U-bahn stop right outside.

This is a great hotel, recommended for all. The customer service is very friendly and speak multiple languages. The hotel room is clean, comfortable, and has all amenities you need for your stay. The price is quite reasonable for the level of cleanliness and customer service you get, I highly recommend it. And best yet, it is literally a minute walk away from public transit, making it quick and easy to get to the downtown, and located on top of a grocery store. I would highly recommend this hotel and I hope to stay again!

Absolutely disgusting service received. I was travelling to Vienna and my flight was delayed by 16 hours, forcing me to get to the hotel at 4am. The guy I encountered at the reception was horrendously disrespectful and rude. I got to the hotel and there was a sketchy guy standing in front of the counter and alerted the other guy to come out to assist me with checking in. I’m not sure if that guy was an employee (he did not have a name tag or any uniform). The guy that helped me took about 20 minutes to find my reservation and check me in - I’m not sure how it was taking this long considering I was the only one in the lobby. Please keep in mind that I booked this hotel solely based on the reviews of their “exceptional” customer service and location. I was not greeted nor was provided with good customer service. I was extremely tired and frustrated as I got to the hotel so late and everything was closed so I wanted water. I read in the description of the room that water is provided and complimentary to all guests. I asked the guy if there was water in the room already and he showed me SO much unnecessary attitude. He said “ I don’t know if the water is in the room, you can go check. If it’s there it’s there, if it’s not it’s not. Only housekeeping is responsible for that so I don’t know anything about that.” Are you not an employee of the hotel? Is this not your job? This is a basic question that any guest can ask and THAT’S how you respond? I said I read that there is complimentary water so if it’s not there can I call you guys or come down to get it? He replied “water is a free GIFT and not every room gets one.” Okay so am I not a paying guest? Am I staying here for free? A free gift is something that should be provided to everyone as it is a FREE GIFT. They also don’t have phones in the room - not sure what kind of a 3 star hotel doesn’t but okay. Anyway, he asks me to fill out my passport information and the sketchy guy from before started getting closer to me to see what I was writing. The front desk guy did nothing about that. I was travelling solo during this trip and I was afraid of these 2 men in the lobby. No hotel that you’re paying $300 for should make you feel that way To conclude the review of the customer service, lots of negative and disrespectful attitude was shown, no manners, complete lack of acknowledgment or sympathy, employee unaware of how to speak to guests, no knowledge about his job and extremely rude tone of his responses. I did go down to the front desk the next day to let the manager know and they told me to come back the next day, since she was on vacation. So I went the next day to explain this disgusting situation I was put in and she said he was part of a third part company and is not employed by the hotel directly. I don’t understand how that even makes sense - all employees should be held to the same standard of practice so every guest has a similar experience. This was just a pathetic excuse. People check in at night all the time so do they not deserve good customer service? I do want to mention that the manager was friendly and offered me complimentary buffet (which I accepted cause why not). Now moving on to the rooms….if you’re fine feeling like you’re in the Sahara desert then you would love this property. The ac does NOT work (just for decoration it seems) - the reception told me to open the windows to remedy this issue. The reason I did not do that is because I don’t wanna feel like I’m sleeping on the street. It’s so noisy there’s no way anyone could sleep there. So I had to close the windows and feel extremely uncomfortable in the heat. What would guests do in the summer? And I mean god forbid you check in at night lol Overall, this hotel sucks and the employees are even worse. All it took was 1 disgusting and rude employee to ruin my experience at this hotel. Don’t bother with this property, the 5 star reviews are probably bought.

We stayed 3 nights. The room was clean, the hotel looks nice overall. Breakfast was good and had enough options for all tastes. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel has an underground parking right next to it, which you need to pay separately. It costs 18 eur per day, so was fine. The hotel has a metro station right across the street so was very easy to get to the center without a car.

The parking is not free or on site. The elevator was filthy, the room was hot, and food and trash was left everywhere from the previous stayed, and the shower had mold on the edges. The bathroom had no exhaust fan, huge problem for traveling with others. Was not impressed by the quality I got for such a high price. I paid 130 euro for the room and an additional 30 euro to park close by. The only positive things I can say is, they allowed dogs, and the young man bartending was an absolute world class gentleman to sit and conversate with.

Having been taken ill on my first night in the hotel, the staff were amazing and organised all of the medical help I needed. They have also helped us to arrange to get home as I was unable to fly. The staff are amazingly helpful.

We had a very pleasant stay here. Good location, clean rooms and reasonable prices. Just a nice no-frills hotel where you can rest after a long day in Vienna. The breakfast was average, but for the price I can't complain. I feel like Leonardo is a trustworthy chain and their hotels will definitely be among my first choices for my future travels.

The rooms are clean and spacious and the reception is very helpful and friendly. It is located outside the central area of Vienna, but that will never be an issue because the metro station is right outside the hotel. There is also a supermarket on the ground floor. Totally recommend it!

Extremely rude menager, we never had experience like that. We book hotel not knowing that we need PCR test for kids (that is not on hotel bookink page), we came late at night and menager told us that we need 4 tests, hotel will not exept cancelation, hotel don't need to explain anything, hotel don't need to give us any document about rejection and he doesn't care what we will do in the middle of the night with 2 small kids in our car and if we don't live a hotel he will call a police. We understand that hotel need to work by law but we don't understand this kind of attitude, worst hotel experience in our live!

The staff is very nice, bed are comfortable, always very clean, breakfast has a wide range of foods (fruits, eggs, hams, mozzarella, many kind of bread type, croissants) all of good quality. Room are quite isolated, so you get a sufficient silence during day and night. It's not a luxury hotel, but definitely a quality good one!

  • 3/5 Pavan S. 5 years ago on Google
I previously left a review but now felt compelled to edit it as I wrote it after the first night. This is a good hotel but with some problems. The bed is pretty thin, and it's odd for a room with a kind bed to be given only two pillows. I asked for more pillows before I left one day, they were not delivered and when I asked at the front desk, they said that the hotel was full and as such, there were no more pillows. That was the second night of 4. I never got those pillows. The room is nice, with newer fixtures and it is comfortable. Well worth the price, and it is conveniently located to the underground. It is not hard to walk 10 minutes and find some really great restaurants.

  • 5/5 Radim M. 4 months ago on Google
Very good value for the money. The only downside are the mattresses, which are probably aged and we had no chance of getting good sleep on them, especially the large one where one moved, the mattress shaked violently and it woke up the other person. The staff was nice enough to change our room to double, so this was eliminated, but they were still uncomfortable to sleep on.

Fantastic hotel steps away from a metro station with two lines which makes it easy to reach the centre within a few minutes. From the airport you get a train to Landstrasse then U4 straight to hotel. Easy to complete day trips to Slovenia and Budapest as well. Yes there isn’t room service and the rooms weren’t cleaned everyday (cleaned once during 5 nights) but this wasn’t a bother for us because if you go down to reception to ask for anything they provide. Great customer service especially from the guy with the curly Afro and the other young man who worked overnight. The hotel room itself was clean with a fridge - Would have liked a kettle too but once again not too much of a bother. There are some food options nearby and Spar grocery store downstairs which was a blessing! Would definitely return to and recommend the hotel.

The overall impression is fantastic. The cordial and hospitable service works in the hotel, which means professionalism. The rooms are large, very clean and tidy. The service changes towels every day which is very commendable. I am very satisfied with the service I received.

  • 5/5 Alessio G. 1 year ago on Google
Service was great and room was really good. It felt more like a 4 star experience, rather than a 3 star one. Moreover, this hotel is not far from public transportation and even from attractions to see. Finally, there a supermarket and restaurants in the nearby, so that there is everything you need in the immediate nearby. I recommend this hotel.

The location: incredible! Far from the business of downtown Wien but so easily accessible, just take the UBahn and you can get anywhere! Service: very kind, attentive, easy check in & out Room: spacious (rare in Wien) beds weren’t overly comfortable but weren’t not comfortable. PARKING!! Breakfast was delicious and had a lot of variety. Downsides: floors in the room need to be cleaned a little better and there are barely anything outlets in the room.

Perfectly located and very convenient hotel for a week-long trip to Vienna and the surrounding area. I liked that it is very close to the metro and a grocery supermarket right in the same building. It is good that it is possible to open the windows, the room is large and there is a refrigerator. Didn't like that there was no plug in the sink and that the pillows were too flat.

We stayed here on our trip to Vienna, the location was excellent very close to underground for travelling to different areas when sightseeing seeing in vienna. On the corner their is a uro spar supermarket convient for drinks ,sandwiches etc if on a budget, and to cut down on costs. The hotel rooms were a good size and clean and you can order breakfast on the premises ( we didnt though, so can't comment on food) You can get a kettle at reception and make your own hot drinks in room ,or buy beer or cold drinks and keep them in the little fridge in your room which was 👍. Some staff were pleasant , but not all. The only thing I would give a negative comment would be the red carpet in the hallway when you come out of the lifts ,definitely needed replacing, very stained and old had marks all over it , did not make a very good first impression with me, so I was very pleasantly surprised by my lovely clean room, so I would say, I would stay there again , recommend it for cleanliness and size of room, location was good for travelling on the underground , and there was a lovely gem of an oriental restaurant directly opposite hotel , with the most delicious 😋 food .

Very bad experience. They charged my credit card two times and told me that the first time was the deposit (but it was charged the full amount though!) and that I had to wait for a few weeks for the chargeback to happen (??? My money was forcely taken twice and without interest) But after a few weeks I saw no chargeback whatsoever, so had to go to my bank and wait in line for almost an hour, at the bank they told me that the hotel should have informed them about the chargeback. So I now still waiting for my money back. Very very bad experience. Still waiting for my money.

We had a comfortable stay, with a spacious room, friendly helpful staff, excellent breakfast, stable wifi, right on the U-bahn. It ticked all the boxes for us and we will return for sure.

First impressions were great, but few of them remained that way. A good looking lobby and nice staff on check-in sat off for a good start, however our room flushed our built up expectations away. When running a hotel, you can't easily affect the looks and equipment of an apartment, but it's not hard to make sure it's clean. This one wasn't. Hair in the shower, bits and pieces of who knows what on the ground, a booger on the wall next to my bed. You could've seen other peoples' footprints on the glossy floor. It just didn't feel good. At least the bed was clean. Also, taking shower felt like being in an aquapark. Water everywhere, one second cold, the other too hot. This hotel served its purpose for having a place to crash, but I wouldn't feel good if I recommended it. Maybe if the price was a bit lower..

Clean rooms, The breakfast was good, 14 euro / pers. Verry close to the U station( metro station), about 100 m, and there îs a supermarket where you can find everything you want. Low price but good quality

  • 5/5 Denis 1 year ago on Google
It is exactly what you would expect from a three star hotel. There is no room service so you need to ask for things like toilet paper, or extra towels if already provided is not enough. It is located right across the underground station and it is really easy to reach any part of the town from that line. Overall, we would certainly return to this hotel.

  • 5/5 Jessica P. 10 months ago on Google
The location is fantastic! Near to U4 metro station (literally 2 min walking) and to a supermarket. Comfortable staying overall. The bedroom was clean, there weren’t many towels or bathroom products, so make sure to pack yours. They have a luggage storage so, whether you’re arriving early or departing late they can keep your belongings there. The staff is also polite and nice.

I stayed 3 nights in Star Inn, and everything was ok. The room was very clean and warm. The price of the breakfast is very good because you have a lot of choices. The station of the metro near the hotel is a plus.

  • 4/5 Boris M. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms are spacious and clean, as are the bathrooms in them. Both were recently renovated, the furniture is new. The problem is parts of the hotel that are dirty and neglected, for example the carpet in the corridor. I see from other comments that people are missing a kettle. If you have bought a television for each room, then you can also buy a stove that costs 10 euros. The windows are very dirty from the outside. The rest is fine. The metro station is close, as is the store. The problem is if you don't want to park in a garage where parking is paid for, because there are few free parking spaces in the area. It is found, but not very close.

😐 The pizza was so good! I’d definitely recommend the place for the people around the area. The atmosphere and the waitress were too nice. The only negative thing about it was the waiting time for someone to come and take my order, and again for someone to bring me the check.
