Flemings is a nice 4star hotel, but I would prefer a couple of details extra to make it the perfect 4star hotel in Vienna: Firstly, there are no slippers offered in the room nor there is a fridge, even an empty one. To be more precise, I had requested before our arrival that we wanted two pair of slippers which the hotel responded to positively hence why we expected them in the room. There is a cupboard in the room which is glued so you can not open it, assuming that’s where the fridge once was. A couple of things in the room were falling apart, shampoo holders, toilet brush and the carpet had some stains that looked quiet unpleasant. We were informed that housekeeping comes in the room every second day unless the guest prefers a daily cleaning, which was completely fine with us. When the housekeeping came, they definitely did not clean the floor/carpet because there was a lot of dust & hair on it still. Also the free airport shuttle that was mentioned on booking, is definitely not available since the receptionist told us “they are trying to take it down because there was a mistake since they recently went on the platform”, something along those words. Lastly, there is no phone in the room which I would expect from a nice 4 star Conference like Flemings. Now these are just a few details that we noticed throughout our stay, but there are a few positives to it: Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Helped us with contacting our airline by phone, prepared “breakfast boxes” for us as we were leaving early in the morning right before breakfast opened and they had overall a very nice attitude. My favorite part by far, was breakfast. I enjoyed the variety of options they had, from yummy croissants, to nice homemade salads and I loved making my own yoghurt in the morning with all the nice toppings. Waiter was very attentive as well! I would have mentioned all of the above upon checkout as I have worked as a Receptionist myself, but I did not want to bother the night receptionist as he seemed like he was reaching the end of his shift and definitely needed some rest. We would come back to Flemings, maybe book a better room so we get a bit more attendance in the room. Thank you for a short & nice stay Flemings!

Great Internet. Great location. Weird showers, but good, but very weird. Yes, like the picture shows...it is a glass box in the middle of the room. If feasible, I would recommend not coming alone and making sure you plan your company for the view you will have

Excellent hotel and excellent stay. The staff was professional and very welcoming. The hotel had a nice sauna which I used. The room was clean and bed was cozy. Definitely recommend this hotel to fellow travellers

Wonderful experience at Flemings Conference Hotel. Super friendly staff who made our stay comfortable. The room was spacious, with really comfortable beds and a modern, clean bathroom. They have a spa service we unfortunately didn't have the time to try, but seemed really promising. The city center is just a few stops away by subway, so it's really near the tourist spots. I recommend this hotel for your stay in Vienna!

I recently stayed at the Flemings Conference Hotel in Vienna and it was an absolute delight. The hotel's location is superb, with easy access to the city's attractions and public transportation. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and spacious, and the amenities provided were top-notch. What really set this hotel apart, however, was the exceptional service from the staff, especially Mariele and Nouri. They were incredibly helpful and welcoming, taking care of my check-in and check-out with ease and providing me with valuable recommendations on where to eat, how to get around the city, and what to see. Their insider knowledge of the city made my stay even more enjoyable, and I'm truly grateful for their kindness and hospitality. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Vienna, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mariele and Nouri for their outstanding service

Good hotel. Spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfasts. Great service at the reception and restaurant. Not very good for familys with kids because of the transparent shower inside the room ( I was mislead by booking.com that shower will be covered with curtains, but it wasn’t ) . Rooms are somewhat smallish. But the price was pretty adequate . Nice bonus of ‘superior room’ is that you could take water, juice, tea or coffee for free as much as you want from the corner by the reception. The location is not very good if you plan to explore Vienna by foot. For ex it took us 50 minutes to get to Albertina . I guess is would be ok if you are by yourself, but with a small kid… not so good. Overall we liked this place.

My whole experience with Flemings and Vienna was amazing. The hotel has a great located and easily connects wherever you want to go. I didn’t foresee it being so easy to go all over Vienna with such ease. The room and wellness suite were top notch and the staff was very kind.

Very nice clean quiet hotel in a convenient location. Spacious rooms, nicely designed bathroom in the room and all amenities provided. Easy to access the hotel using public transport and it's within walking distance from restaurants, entertainment spots and Vienna attractions.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located near public transportation, making it easy to get around the city. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was plentiful, which was a great way to start the day. The cleanliness of the hotel was good, and I found the meeting rooms to be suitable and well-equipped for the events I attended. However, I did encounter a few issues during my stay. I found the temperature of the room to be too warm for my liking, even when the heating was turned off. Additionally, I was disappointed with the limited TV channels, especially the lack of international options. In conclusion, while there were some aspects that could be improved, such as the room temperature and TV channel selection, the hotel's convenient location, abundant breakfast, and adequate meeting facilities made for a generally comfortable stay

The hotel is luxurious and the stay will make you feel happy. The rooms are very big and nice. The breakfast have various healthy options and there are free drinks and snacks for everyday during stay. The staff was helpful and nice. I had to checkout early in morning and they arranged me a takeaway breakfast too which was lovely. Close to main market, trams and amenities. Walking distance to attractions too. Loved it

We were absolutely DELIGHTED with this hotel. We were warmly welcomed at the reception and when checked in our room, we had a tray of delicious treats waiting for us, good quality cakes and chocolates and a bowl of fresh, clean and cut strawberries and blueberries. Also two big baskets of assorted chocolates, including truffles and cherry liquor bonbons. PLUS a ice bucket ready champagne and a children’s sparkling for our little princesses with a handwritten welcome note. AND to get our hearts for good the girls had on the top of their ready made bed two lunch boxes with a lovely note saying that they should take the boxes and fill them with their favourites for a later snack. All very clean, we'll-maintained, good toiletries and minded service. Details to blown away the most exigent guests. I must say it was not only delightful staying but also an inspirational management and customer service. We see that is still possible to find this nowadays! Thank you very much for the lovely experience and respect to our children ❤️❤️

Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The first night when we arrived a mistake has been made and we got a room that was already occupied. After the event we talked to the counter manager who showed kindness and understanding and gave us a free breakfast as compensation. In conclusion, the hotel is very good, the breakfast is particularly rich, and the hotel staff is kind and attentive.

The hotel serves breakfast on the morning, it looked good but we did not joined it. There are some cool bakeries nearby. Hotel has a big elevator and all the floor is covered by carpet, which makes the hotel super silent. Baggages and steps do not make noise when walking though the corridors. Rooms are super cool, comfortable beds, nice champoo, an interesting shower and isolated WC. As you may see in photos the shower is transparent but you can close courtains in case you’re sharing room to someone that is not your partner. Problem? Not sure how to turn off the air conditioner Location is a bit far from the center but there are some metro closeby

Excellent stay all around! I’ll be picking this hotel over Airbnb for my next visit to Vienna as well. The rooms are clean and comfortable with the transit station less than a block away. The view from the 6th floor is perfection.

Its the first time i rate a hotel so low , i had to change room on a 30 hour stay , guests should not be acommodated on a room that the roof is under a cut wheel working in Sunday afternoon . This noise is recorded on my mobile and was heard on all staircase even in 2nd floor. I had to go 2 times to reception because there is not a phone in the room. Stuff was polite but very poor management, quiet is the first thing that anyone wants from a hotel

the hotel is very clean and very comfortable, it’s simple, but everything is tidy. the rooms are cute, they aren’t enormous, but it’s really cozy. also the bathroom is very modern, but if you travel with someone beware, the shower is in the middle of the room, with no curtain. overall the price is great and the whole place is really nice, so i would definitely recommend for your staying in wien.

I lost the reward through no fault of my own. I arrived late at the hotel because the flight was delayed by two hours. The hotel while I had prepaid cancelled my reservation. When I arrived moth they said there was no issue and I stayed normally. Why did you cancel my reward? Please correct it

Can't comment on the accommodation as I did not stay there, but only attended a conference there. The facilities were good, the set up for our conference worked well and we had a successful conference. The lunches were good, the catered coffee breaks too and we had a memorable conference. Location was good and worked well for our needs.

Nice reception service, we had problem with cleaning in our room, we got a new one without any arguing. The hotel rooms need to be renovated very soon... Breakfast was great.

Very clean rooms! Friendly receptionists and fairly priced. It's just a few minutes away from the metro/tram station which has decent connections and many restaurants and stores.

Had several issues with our stay doubt we will ever come back: Our bathroom was not cleaned properly before our arrival and was in a disgusting state. When we arrived in our room we noticed a horrible smell coming from the bathroom we discovered a large amount of human feces had been skewered onto the toilet brush and lodged into its holder. The staff were apologetic saying they could not clean the room until the following day and offered to move us to another room however these were not adequate as they had broken light fixtures and contained two single beds, where our original had a double. As compensation for this we were offered an upgrade free of charge by a member of staff, however when we inquired about this at reception the following day, we were informed that we would in fact, have to pay for the upgrade. When we tried to explain the situation to a member of staff we were dismissed bluntly and patronizingly. It was clear that the individual at reception was unaware of the issue regarding sanitation in the bathroom and refused to acknowledge that this was in fact the reason for our upgrade when we informed her. Ultimately, we felt incredibly dismissed and that the member of staff was not concerned with our complaint. That same day, instead of cleaning the mess the cleaning staff simply left the dirty brush and its contents in the bathroom, placed a clean brush on the floor, and also left dirty feces water on the floor. Furthermore, on the second day of our stay, despite placing the cleaning sign on our door, and being absent from our room for over nine hours our room was not cleaned. Unfortunately, the dismissive attitude from the staff was not exclusive to one person. We inquired at reception one night at around 23:00 for food recommendations in the area. The member of staff appeared annoyed by us inquiring for recommendations and impatiently told us to "just use the internet", but when we pressed him further he irritably indicated that a restaurant "5 minutes up the street" provided exactly the kind of food we were looking for. With nothing but a finger point to guide us we went to the area indicated to find no such place existed. When we returned the individual gave us a menu for the exact kind of establishment we were looking for originally. Frustratingly, it is clear that the member staff could provide us with the service we were looking for but clearly had not listened to our request. When we returned from looking for the non-existent restaurant at 23:15, we found the hotel bar closed. We had asked the bartender earlier that day what time the hotel bar closed, to which he told us 23:45. We asked the same receptionist what time the bar closes to which he responded 00:00, when we informed him of the current time the receptionist simply smiled, shrugged his shoulders, and just repeated that it was not open, providing no alternative or even an apology. Finally, for our shower we only had hot water on our first night. Due to the amount of issues and the dismissive nature of the staff we felt defeated to even raise yet another issue. Overall, while we enjoyed our stay in Vienna we feel extremely let down by the Flemings Hotel Wien-Stadthalle.

Very big and comfortable room, but there are no wall hooks in the room to hang jackets, bathrobes, towels, ... Good location, not so far on foot to center, also very close to westbahnhof station. Good breakfast, but poorly cleaned tables at breakfast. It is difficult to find the exit from the garage to the hotel, bad information from the staff, nothing marked.

Very refreshing sleep over during my travels. The receptions staff was friendly, efficient and helpful both in the evening and morning. After a long travel I particularly enjoyed the sauna even though just for a while since I arrived late (longer opening hours would be nice). The room was comfy with complimentary water and tea/coffee set. Very good breakfast with large food & drink variety and quality served in restaurant with plenty of space, many seating options and natural light.

This hotel is really great! Very clean room, excellent breakfast, very friendly staff, good location not far from the center of the city. I think this hotel will be more comfortable for families or romantic couples because of the shower in the center of the room.

Not the most modern but still a good Hotel. Most important for me is a clean, quiet room and comfortable beds - all this is great here. (One downside though - our room had only luke warm water. )

This hotel was booked to celebrate our anniversary and the hotel was exactly good for that purpose. Nice, clean and spacious room with coffeemaker and in room (glass) shower, very nice. Reception was very courteous and informative when we asked about things in and around the hotel as well as the trip to Wien city center. I am a coffee drinker and when I asked for more I got it, at no charge !! The hotel is very clean, rooms, restaurant, bar, gym and all other areas, including the "public" toilets, impressive cleanliness all around! When I visit Wien again I will definitely try this hotel first, it is a short ride with the #5 tram to the center or Prater, so that can never be the problem. This hotel is highly recommended and I will spread the word! (Including Trip Advisor, booking and other social channels).

The hotel is pretty close to the metro so it needs a bit of walking. With the room we had a bit of problem, cause of the bathroom mostly. It was smelling urine even though they cleaned it the second day! Not so much after the cleaning but it needs a good all day bucket of chlorine all over the toilet! The other problem was that they had two one person bedsheets on a double bed so we try to fit under the one... We only had one pillow per person and it was extra "creamy" so we definitely could use one more! The morning buffet is extremely poor. Not even a chocolate croissant... And for last I don't know why they have all the TV programs translated into Germans. It's extremely annoying mostly cause it was meant for the guests, which by the way I don't know, they MIGHT be from somewhere else... Use English the one and only voted INTERNATIONAL language. We live in 2022 not 1900!

Staffs are awesome. Very friendly and helpful. Location is great. Room is good and clean There is no fridge in the unit We didn't have tea and tea maker in the room. We had to ask to bring a tea maker and ask for refill each day. Overally it was good.

The hotel room was nice and clean. The view was also nice from the room we were in. Also despite being along a busy road, the sounds of the cars below can barely be heard. The unique feature is the shower having no walls around it, just a curtain blocking the view from the beds. It does make the room feel more spacious since there is no wall, but make sure you room with someone you are comfortable with if you choose to stay here with someone. The location is close to the train station of westbanhof so if you have a train to catch this is a good place to stay in. The breakfast here was also a great one with a lot of pastry and drink choices!

I can recommend this hotel because it is very clean. Air conditioning works well in the room. It is on a busy street but you don't hear anything from inside. Very close to the metro stop and from there you can explore the whole city. There is also a large shopping street within walking distance. Staff is very friendly and breakfast is provided with a wide choice.

The shower is separated from the rest of the bedroom only from a glass panel, which I didn't like it because a) you don't have privacy ( you have a beige curtain but still), b) the room remains humid, and it is not healthy especially when you take a shower before going to bed. Beside that, the room is spacious, the breakfast was great and the lunch was tasty. They have conference rooms but they are at floor -1 and -2.

  • 4/5 Peder G. 1 year ago on Google
Nice hotel that we used for just travelling through. Cool and odd feature with the showers/bathrooms into the hotel rooms, but you can choose to have with curtain if you want. Makes a good story. Situated outside the city centre, but nice for the price.

Overall I would rate 3.5/5. Standards room are very small which cannot accommodate properly even a family of 3. Also the rooms do not have facility of intercom and everytime you need to connect to reception, you would need to walk down. There is no concerisge service also and people need to drag their own luggage to room Location is excellent.. nearest metro/tram station is about 450 meters away..breakfast is very good and has a very good spread..staff is very friendly

Nice hotel in a good Location. Not in the center of the town but the metro and tram in a 2 min walking distance. The breakfast was super! Be careful with the pillows they are extremely soft.. Living Vienna I was pretty happy with our stay but 2 stars review is because they work with a credit card company and they have double charged my bank account and 10 days later I still haven't see the money back in my bank account. BE CAREFUL PAY CASH!!!

We stayed here for 4 nights to visit vienna Christmas markets great location for public transport or close enough to walk off all the delicious sweet treats. Rooms clean and great size, shower cubicle a novelty although curtains to use if a little shy.

Is the second time that we stay at this hotel since the positioning is great, near the Westbahnhof and a big street for shopping. We were impressed the first time (New Years 2019), but now… Staff at reception welcomed us with no mask on(!) and didn’t even checked our health certificates, which make us question our health safety. The room is very nice but the shower floods inside the room carpet(?!) and there are fingerprints and palm prints marks on the bed header (gross!!!!).

Very good location with metro and streetcar stations nearby. The rooms are spacious and clean. Most importantly, the staff was wonderful and helpful. All the hotel staff helped me when I faced problems. I can't thank them enough.(My problem was successfully resolved.)It was a very nice stay. Will stay at this hotel again next time I visit Vienna.
