We
went
to
Wien
with
my
family
a
few
weeks
ago
to
spend
a
night
there.
The
hotel
where
I
booked
(Hotel
Carina)
accepted
our
booking.
We
arrived
around
8
pm
with
my
wife
and
two
little
kids,
and
basically,
they
threw
us
to
the
street.
The
receptionist
insisted
that
their
banking
card
system
was
not
working,
they
will
cancel
the
Booking.com
booking
and
I
have
to
pay
with
cash
the
same
amount,
otherwise,
I
could
not
enter
the
hotel.
He
told
me
that
it
happens
many
times
with
bookings
coming
from
Booking.com.
There
was
another
couple,
they
told
the
same
to
them,
and
they
cancelled
their
booking
also
and
they
had
to
pay
with
cash
to
enter
the
hotel.
In
addition
they
cancelled
my
booking
saying
that
my
credit
card
was
not
working.
Ridiculous
and
outrageous.
If
a
hotel
doesn't
want
to
pay
commissions
to
a
third
party,
they
shouldn't
accept
bookings/advertise
on
that
interface.
Like
this
their
financial
greed
is
paid
by
the
customers.
