Not as described, smelly, dirty, outdated. Pictures misleading. Asked for payment before I could see dirty, 90F (34C) hell hole in the basement and not given receipt for my money. Staff clueless, not helpful. Caused me to waste time looking for another hotel and money for a cab. Booking. Com, where I booked my room, even less helpful. Not using them again.

Its best an okay place to stay - chose the cheapest place for just 1 night sleep. Good: fresh sheets. Bad: uncomfortable mattress and pillow. Our room floor was somewhat dirty, the walls in our room are somewhat dirty. -1 point for having a door repair guy working at 23:15 in the corridor. Not a 3 star hotel.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable that I couldn’t sleep at all. The place is old and dirty. They have many WiFi’s but non of them seemed to work. It should not be a 3 star hotel. The walls are thin that I hear every noises coming out of the next door.

Living mold in the shower! No AC. Nice service. Good location with restaurants and shops nearby. Never again...

0/5 stars! Worst experience I ever had! We called beforehand to ask if we could come a little earlier for the check in because it was cold and late and we could not wait anymore. We were told that it was okey and that we could come, the room would be ready! So we arrived and the guy at the reception tells us “You cannot check in, it’s too early, you have to wait.” We tell him that the guy on the phone said it was okey and literally promised us that we could check in earlier. He is like “No we cannot do that, check in isn’t until later.” So we discuss a little more and he is like “Alright if you pay 70€ then you can get in now.” Mind you, we already paid 50€ beforehand and he wants more money now. So we ask if we can just pay the 20€ and he accepts AND THEN WANTS A FEE OF 50€ ON TOP OF THAT! For a rathole hotel in the middle of nowhere the audacity was enormous. He was not friendly at all and there was not an ounce of respect to be seen. Do not recommend! (The 1 star rating is because I cannot give 0 stars)

Great hotel for the weekend. Quiet neighborhood. Bus and tram station is close. Only negative side is that hotel doesn't own Parking but you can park in garage which is close and on the street.

I was there last week and stayed for 4 night. The personnels were not friendly and the this hotel was not so clean. When i opened my room i smelled bad aroma. the carpet in the room was so dirty and they did not care their clients. Finally the bed was not comfortable because i could feel all springs of the bed

This hotel looks nothing like the pictures on their booking website. Their room is very dirty and smells so bad. there were spider webs all across the sealing. There beds were uncomfortable and you could feel the springs when you slept. They were so cheap, when we asked if we could have tea they said they don’t have it and only could give us hot water. Receptionist was so unfriendly. This hotel is not a 3 star hotel unfortunately more like motel style.

Location is ok and staff is nice. And that’s all good what you can say about this hotel. Rooms and surrounding are horrible.

Room costed 130€,it’s in a VERY bad condition.Absolutely would not recommend

CAUTION!!!!!!!! this is certainly the worst hotel in this area, they have homeless guests too and teenagers without adults get a doubleroom too, they dont care !! whatever they recommend for food / SKIP IT. U ll be better served to find yourself something nearby. there is a nice GASTHAUS in front of the hotel, very old viennese!!! pay 5-10.- more and book a SAFE place nearby to stay- look further.

The day receptionist is really kind!!! For the price you pay you get what you need! Silence at night! Good sleep! Close to tram line 2, in 15m you are city center! Everything good

Room looks really bad, bathroom is ugly, everything old, it needs renovation fast. No parking place, staff doesn't know how take care of parking.

Cheap place in Vienna, rooms are clean. Very close to the city center. Staff is friendly. The breakfast room is a bit small but they offer a nice selection though. There's parking right in front of the hotel.

Very nice place! The stuff is very kind, pleasant, polite, friendly. The hotel, the rooms are very nice, very clean, well equiped. I expected a single bed, but got double!! I got bathtub with shower, plenty of towels, plenty of shampoo, soap, etc. Also there was a small fridge, safe, TV, WIFi in the entire hotel.. spacious closet with huge mirror.. also in the bathroom the mirror was huge.. There is elevator in the hotel.. it is near public transport stations, so it is very well connected with the entire city.. All my best reccomandations ! When I visit Vienna the next time - I'm definitely going to hotel Carina again!

I am very grateful for the kind receptionist lady who gave me tips and advices where to go, what to see and how to travel. The Manner Factory next door privides a great chocolate smell. The room was a last minute bargain. It was small and simple but nice. Had everything I needed. Maybe the bathtub could have been a little more clean.

Very rude personnel. Rooms are not clean. Breakfast consists of not fully cooked omelette and salami with taste of toilet paper. Building is very old as well as all facilities in the room and common areas. Should cost three times less that it actually costs. Do not recommend at all!

Rooms are in awful condition, stains littering the walls and floors-something tells me they do not clean sheets as my bed had multiple spots on it. Bathroom had toilet paper stuck all over the roof & walls. Sink was dirty, didn't even bother using the shower as it's condition was disgusting. Grime everywhere and was missing pieces in the wall. The front desk was very kind and willing to answer any questions you have. Fine service. If wifi is a necessity for you I'd look to spend the extra €30-70 at another hotel as they advertise have stable wifi, but in truth it wasn't on 60% of the time.. and when it was it was extremely slow and would cut out every 5 minutes. Could be an impermanent issue to be fair. It does have a nice location as it is close to transit stations and not far from the city center. Lots of delicious local restraunts within walking distance, and a supermarket around the corner.

We went to Wien with my family a few weeks ago to spend a night there. The hotel where I booked (Hotel Carina) accepted our booking. We arrived around 8 pm with my wife and two little kids, and basically, they threw us to the street. The receptionist insisted that their banking card system was not working, they will cancel the Booking.com booking and I have to pay with cash the same amount, otherwise, I could not enter the hotel. He told me that it happens many times with bookings coming from Booking.com. There was another couple, they told the same to them, and they cancelled their booking also and they had to pay with cash to enter the hotel. In addition they cancelled my booking saying that my credit card was not working. Ridiculous and outrageous. If a hotel doesn't want to pay commissions to a third party, they shouldn't accept bookings/advertise on that interface. Like this their financial greed is paid by the customers.

The room was unsanitary, the door seemed that someone broke it and it wasn’t really fixed. The wall was dirty, the fridge was dirty, the bathroom was old and the iron on the bathroom was rusty. It was also weird because when I reserved on booking it said that they would the money from my account but when I got at the hotel I had to pay … This hotel has to be renew because it’s old , dirty and I did not felt safe there. The only good point is that the hotel is not far from the Tramway and the neighborhood is calm!
