I had a nice stay at hostel. The price is fair for what they offer. Breakfast was good with limited options. The location is a little bit far from centre but you have a metro station 10 minutes walk. Worth for money.

This place is excellent if you don't want to pay too much for a hotel, it is clean, the staff is very nice. Although there is no WC in the room, the shared bathroom is very clean. The breakfast is also awesome! :) It is a hostel, not a 4 star hotel, so don't have too much expactations!

Were there in the month of June, the hostel is not in a bad area of town. easy access to the center, there are metro and regular buses. Hostel itself is very clean, rooms, toilets, a very friendly staff, which explains everything and says everything, especially nice was the girl Urssula :) Very convenient that included breakfast, they do not have much variety but quite hearty breakfast. We left our things in the room, nothing was missing. Overall, very pleased, we recommend)

Personally I loved it, a little far out if you arrive at night from the nearest station but I soon figured it out. Not particularly hidden just up a hill. Basically opposite a SPAR and a Bakerie which lets face it is perfect location wise. The locals are lovely and kind. The scenery is great and for the price of the bed, I had a fantastic stay. 24h check in is ideal, same as most hostels in terms of bedding. The people I stayed in the room with were far more sensitive to noise from other guests than I was. The lockers are in the rooms and a little small. Not really meant for all your gear, just the essentials and clothing, more like small wardrobes. Take your own padlock. The staff were nice, informative and chatty. Update: I Just stayed here again five years later, and I would still recommend for all the above reasons.

Not the worst cheap stay, but has its flaws. For starters, their “kitchen” is a kettle, a fridge, and a microwave. That’s it. And don’t bother asking to use their nicer one that they use for breakfast, as they’ll rudely tell you “not a chance”. The hallway leading to said kitchen smells strangely musty which, well, isn’t superbly appetizing. As far as I know, only a single bathroom in the entire building has soap and a way to dry your hands. I don’t feel like those two things are that much to ask for. The maids come into the room to clean it while you’re sleeping, which is very odd. Was not a fan of that. To its credit, though, the rooms are pretty nice. If you have your own locks, the storage units are very pleasant to use. Lots of space to store your belongings. Plus each bed has a convenient outlet and lamp that works quite nicely, resting on a nice shelf to put belongings. Also there was a cute cat running around, so bonus points for that.

An average hostel for a moderate price. Most of the rooms do not have a bathroom and a toilet, thus you have to use the public bathroom and a public toilet (3 showers per storey, 2 toilets per storey). Rooms are clean and undamaged mostly and the hostel is suited in an not too noisy environment, away from the main road. Breakfast and dinner are also offered in the hostel but the choice is pretty limited.

Great service. The rooms were clean and organize. Despite not being in the city center , I highly recommend this place to stay for the reasons mentioned above (also the public transportation in Vienna works very well)

Very basic and an unacceptable amount of mistakes made by trainee reception. He tried to charge me 8 euro more than I owed him for a pizza, even after struggling with calculator for ages. Simple maths that could be worked out mentally in seconds. Very basic kitchen in comparison to most hostels. A good bit outside the city center. No toilet in room. They photocopy passport which nearly caused me to lose mine. Not sure they need to use such an important document. You won't have a toilet in your room even if it's a private one. None of these things are mention on phone whilst making booking. They told me I had to pay for a tumble dryer even though there was 30 degree heat outside. Anything to make money money.

One of the best hostel I've stayed in till date. Very clean, organised and ample facilities. Since it is far from city centre, it is very quiet and peaceful. You can enjoy the nature with their gardens. Their buffet breakfast was worth the money. The reception was also very polite and helpful. Only concern that one is not allowed to check in before 3 PM at any cost. You can wait in their lobby but you cannot access any room. If somebody needs to be near the city centre, this may not be a good choice but if you are considering to go by public transport, then I would recommend this.

Nice for big groups. Very clean rooms, but the mattresses are rather old and the beds smaller but much bigger than 180cm. The clean sheets are in the lobby upon check-in. Showers should get descaled, but still in OK condition. Very slippery floors while stepping of the showerplatform canbmake a very nice balance game every morning. The rooms seem to be hot it both winter and summer, which is not always as desired by some. Breakfast buffet has limited options, but plenty for all guests. The quality and taste of the food could be the reason for that though. Proximity of metro station and stop for night bus is definitely a plus, since the area is rather far from the center.

We were there a week ago and the beds were painted. There were bloodstains in the bed. There were locusts in the carpenter's room. The bed had a crack. It was dirty too. We didn't like the food. Never again!!!!!!!!!

So good and awesome place! The breakfast was great and sometimes you can even buy supper from the restaurant. Staff was always helpful and spoke good English. We stayed in the 20 bed mixed dorm and had no problems. The room was clean and so were the bathrooms. There's no kitchen to cook your own food but there is a microwave. Would definitely come back here again 😊

A great hostel at a great location. If you like quiet and scenic places. Though as situated on a mountain top, bit of an exercise going up and down. The staff is friendly, the rooms and washrooms are spotless and the beds are comfortable with spaces to keep your stuff.

Great location, fair pricing. It is a hostel and you do feel that, tho.

Was a great experience and amazing landscape. It’s far away from center but subway work very good. I recommend this hostel, cheap and beautiful.

Negativ points on location, 20 bed room where socks, shoes smell, no sockets in the room to charge mobile. No wonder the prices where less. The crowd was limited to there own groups, not open minded, and mostly on mobile. If you want cheaper rates and ok with travelling 90 mins extra twi ways ( from centre to hostel and back) then stay here, otherwise, I will not come here, not recommended.

Nice view of the garden from the room. People there are very very friendly and sociable, it's a nice place to meet new friends and really good people. Check-in and check-out were very fast. The guys at the reception are very friendly and always happy to have a small talk with you. But, coffee for breakfast is very terrible. Radiator in my room was leaking. There is not much choice of options (like bathroom accessories and bar).

Comfortable. Tidy. Clean Bed Linen. Great place to have some rest. Easy to find transport to go anywhere around the city. Very helpful and cooperative staff. 24 hours reception and check in/out services.

Decent hostel. Competent if not remarkable customer service. Very clean, warm rooms. Fine if your just passing through and just want a place to lay your head whilst visiting the city.

Great location, the Hütteldorf train station is within walking distance. But it's overcrowded for my liking (6 individuals in a room with 6 rooms sharing amenities) is a gross NO for me

The room was dirty and full of cobwebs. That was very🤢. The beds were too small and the worst thing about the small beds was that David's stinky toes stuck out at the edge so it smelled really bad at times🥰. And I had a question for the hostel, why were the heaters turned on in the room in midsummer? Please give feedback. 🚽

I felt like I was in a concentration camp. My cushion had a hole where insects crawled out. The cleaning lady took my bottle of iced tea. We have trays like something from a prison. Children even had to puke and go to the hospital because of the food. The elevator got stuck and we almost suffocated because of the heat in the elevator. The fire alarm was broken. It smelled like urine. We found a used thong in our room. We were happy when we left the hostel. Never again .

All in all bad, as the teulettes sometimes go over, it wasn't clean, the beds are way too small, no shower in the room, not even a sink, there were bugs in the room every day. When we arrived we didn't get the room and they wanted to split us up into other rooms, the food is bad, the only thing you can eat is white bread with Nutella and nothing more, you have to keep pressing on the showers to turn them on , the doors are a mess to the point where it doesn't work anymore, if you're in there for more than 5 days you'll get depressed. There are numerous holes on the facade. I don't know whether they are from World War II or World War I. I definitely don't recommend going there

This week I went on a trip to Vienna with my class to the diesel hostel. We didn't like it at all. We had to go to the 5th or 6th stick with suitcases and everything and the elevator didn't work well, it was way too small and really dirty. The rooms were dirty too! The bed covers were dirty. There were bloodstains on it. And it was so hot, about 35 degrees in the room and the heating was even on. That doesn't work at all. And there wasn't even a sink or anything in the room. There was only one bathroom on each floor, each with 3 showers. There were about 25 of us. You had to keep the shower button pressed otherwise there would be no water and the showers were also unhygienic. There was mold and other things. The breakfast was the most normal of all but not good either. Too little choice and the eggs were disgusting. I didn't like the Hostel Hütteldorf!

I went on a trip to Vienna with my class and booked this hostel. It was small, warm and lots of insects and in 4 rooms with 15 people there was only 1 shower room. In the entire house.
