Great hotel part of the Holiday Inn chain. The rooms are a bit smaller compared to most other hotels but just adequate for our needs. They are very clean and tidy. The shower is great, large and has good water pressure so you get plenty of water. The breakfast is just something else. There are so many choices that you are bound to find what you like. All the food tasted fresh and wholesome. We ate in the Restaurant for one of our evening meals and again we were not disappointed at all. They cooked and served it all very good. The staff in the hotel, I mean all the staff, were very helpful and friendly. Attached to the hotel is a shopping centre which was very handy. Travelling around Vienna from here is quite easy. The bus stops and tram stops are all within easy walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

The worst stay I had in Vienna The room is very small and lacks The fundamental features No fridge available in the room No safety locker The shower floods everytime me or my husband take a shower No service available. There is no one to carry your luggage The parking is expensive ( we used it for 1 night and it was 29.9 euro) In addition, we had a very shameful experience with the room service: we asked for our food to be stored in public fridge, and it was eaten by staff (they said he thought we gave him our food to eat it, although we explained this by phone and they agreed to store it for us) I highly don't recommend

Stayed here for 5 nights in December 2023 - a decidedly disappointing hotel experience, with things only getting worse with each day. - Location: practically nowhere - not in suburbia, but not in the city either, even though you're less than 3kms away from Schoenbrunn. Useless if you want to do any sort of sightseeing in Vienna on foot or by using convenient forms of urban transport. Taxi ride downtown would set you back a handsome 20 EUR in one direction - so it's either that, or you'll need to choose between a combination of at least two different buses, subway or tramway lines that will all take you there - eventually. - Ambience: suffice it to say, the insignifcant shopping mall next door was better decorated for Christmas than the hotel. Nice views from the upper floors but that's about it. Rooms are a tight squeeze and look terribly tired and dated. Oh, and - those sliding bathroom doors need to be outlawed. If I wanted to slide rocks around for privacy, I'd probably still be living in a cave. - Housekeeping: asked on numerous occasions to have room serviced before 2pm. Only got lucky with that request (and actually having the room cleaned) one single time for the whole duration of the stay - although, to be honest, it wasn't much use at all. Ladies weren't bothered one bit either way. - Cleanliness: Atrocious! Unkempt common spaces with dirty carpets and dusty windowsills ubiquitous - rooms, reception, common spaces, restaurant, elevators... The restaurant on floor 22 was an absolutely sordid affair. Housekeeping is not even trying to be thorough, as described above. - Breakfast: OKish in terms of variety as long as you get there early. Be there at 9.30 and you'll be greeted with leftovers. What's worse is that the restaurant is such a miserable place, with tired furnishings and visible muckiness everywhere you look. Case in point: multiple large shards of broken glass (!!!) lay all around a table at breakfast one morning - presumably from the juice that had gotten knocked over some time ago since the floor still bore a nice dried up stain across it. Seems like staff hadn't noticed or simply didn't care - far too busy gossiping. - Facilities: the bathroom boasted a broken off syphon tile simply laid aside, not to mention the mold buildup here and there. No room service over the weekend so the doner across the street is your only hope if you're hungry. No soap in the restaurant toilets (!?). And to top it all off - the worst newfangled elevator system ever: pseudo-modern but in fact terribly inconvenient and cumbersome. All in all, the hotel feels terribly disheveled and rather understaffed. The staff that's there could definitely use (much) better supervision - it feels like the place has been taken over by people who just can't be bothered. Holiday Inn is supposed to be a symbol of hominess - this one felt anything but.

A few kilometres south of the city centre, which offered a bit of exercise out and back while the weather was fine. Close enough for me to walk from and to the main train station (though many others would prefer to use local transport instead of walking) A new building, with extensive views, although I didn't take the chance to visit the top-floor restaurant (either to see the view or to try the food). The foyer on the other hand wasn't too exciting. Also a little confusing where check-in really was - although signs indicated around the corner of the lobby, this did not seem to necessarily be the case in practice. I don't know that the curtains would hold out all the sunlight during the night in the height of summer, but at least when I visited, the days were not at their longest and I slept very comfortably. The bathroom was generally fine, although there were no face washers (maybe it's a cultural difference compared to my upbringing, but there doesn't seem to be face washers in many hotels I visit these days). Overall a fine experience that I would consider returning to next time I am in Vienna.

This is the best value for money in Vienna. This hotel is absolutely phenomenal, especially for IHG 1 Rewards members. I have platinum elite status and was given an early check in and free room upgrade to suite. The location is great for the price- you’re not in the city center but you are a 7 minute walk from Tram line 1 which takes you directly to the center and the big sites. There are also (at least) three bus lines in front of the hotel and will take you to anywhere in the city you need. No other hotel in this price range is offering this type of location and service.

Great hotel with all the facilities you need. Beautiful panoramic elevator for enjoying the view. The hotel staff was very kind when we had to cancel our arrival at the last minute, so they approve change of term to us.

Breakfast experience at 22d floor restaurant. Usually you don’t expect to be yelled at breakfast buffet, but meeting with of the restaurant staff, Ms.Julita will change your perception. I have visited restaurant to grab some breakfast, my room number was recorded and I was allowed inside the buffet with no extra hustle. On my way to get a table, I met Ms. Julita, one of the waiters at the restaurant, immediately, in the room full of other guests who were calmly enjoying their breakfast, Ms.Julita stared to shout that the restaurant is closed and I have to leave. Apparently, it was closing in 20 minutes indeed, but I was not aware of this. I stood speechless just to find myself, unexpectedly, in the spotlight. Afterwards, Ms. Julita, with the same pitch of voice, inquired if I’ve already paid for my breakfast, she continued shouting at me and at the same time convoying me to the bar area in order to check my payment. When I showed Ms. Julita her colleague, who actually let me in, she snapped and shouted that I can take the food, indicating with her finger to the buffet station area. So, instead of getting breakfast and calmly leaving, I was put on the spot, as Ms. Julita’s yelling made other guests to turn their heads toward us, moreover I was humiliated with her escorting me to check the payment. I believe Ms. Julita’s behavior is unprofessional and in lack of communication skills. Yelling at someone should not be accepted, not only in hospitality sphere but in general, and I hope that Ms. Julita will realize it at her soonest.

Poor service. We didn't have soap in the shower from the start ,so we asked for it three times !! At the same time we asked for one toothbrush. Eventually after more than an hour, we got two toothbrushes and no soap!! Had to call the fourth time and then we got some miniature shower gel! Ridiculous... Receptionists are unprofessional and not helpful, especially this young lad from Turkey or wherever he was from... Not coming back there. For this money it's quite poor... Bathroom doors are terrible as they are sliding doors not giving you any privacy ...

-It does not charge the city tax per person, even if you stay in one person, it is treated as if you have a fixed stay of two people and charges a city tax for two. -Those who want to check in at 15:00 have to wait a long time. - Early check-in fee is 40 euro. It is the same price even if you request it at 14:45. - At 10:30, housekeeping tries to knock on the door for no reason and open the door using their room card and enter the room. - There is a kettle in the room but no bottled water, you will drink from the fountain. -The hotel is clean and quiet. There is also a supermarket and bakeries downstairs.

Tried to make a cancellation of my booking 6 days in advance due to an emergency. They don’t care. I will have to pay the full price of my “stay”. So basically they have a free room again that will probably be booked plus my money on top. Have fun with that extra tip and thanks for nothing

Staff was friendly and very helpful. View from the room and resturant is amazing. Bathroom was clean, but shower design is such that water flows out of the shower cabin making the whole bathroom floor wet. There is a beautiful lake nearby and shopping centre is next to the hotel, which was very convenient.

The hotel is very nice with excellent reception and housekeeping staff. The views from the lift going upto the restaurant was fantastic. As a couple we had a room with very little place to get into our bed. Literally "no room to swing a cat". We had to struggle to get into bed with a large pillar blocking the way to get into a double-bed.This room should never be given to a couple when we booked a month in advance.

Nice hotel. Rooms are clean and modern, although [subjectively] a bit small/cramped. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is convenient as it’s directly connected to a small shopping plaza (grocery store, cafe etc). However, it is a fair walk (or short taxi/Uber ride - there were always taxis queued in front of the hotel) to the tourist attractions north of the hotel. Very nice views of the city from the hotel!

Great modern hotel at the outskirts of Vienna. We had a room on the 20th floor hence the view was great. Staff was really helpful as well. The hotel is connected to a shopping centre with cinemas and restaurants so perfect for a night in.

This is a great location. Not too far from the city centre and walking distance from basic amenities. Rooms are small but clean. There are no safes in the rooms which is annoying since thst means one has to either lock things in one's bag or take it with you. This holiday inn had a very poor quality one soap for everything. No separate shampoo or conditioner or handwash Iike other holiday inns. They also did not provide any body lotion. No housekeeping unless requested. No clock in the room either. No fridge either. Beds are very soft and so are the pillows (if you have a bad back, be prepared for back pain). One small side table which barely holds two phones. Everything is so compact that the rooms feel claustrophobic. However, since we were out most of the day and came in to just sleep it worked for us. But it wasn't a comfortable room by any means. Holiday Inns are known for their fluffy towels. This one has small bath towels that are not fluffy and for anyone who is tall or big, barely sufficient. Transit is very convenient and within 2-10 minutes walking distance depending on which transit mode you are taking. There are two grocery stores within 5 mins walking distance. The hotel is also connected to a mall so you get access to popular fast food joints ans restaurants and some shopping. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable about the city. There is a restaurant in thr hotel but we found it quite expensive.

Modern and tidy hotel. The staff at the reception we’re super friendly and accommodating. The building has around 22 floor equipped with modern and quick elevators. The room was super clean and it felt really comfy. The breakfast has good variety in overall good layout. The gym is basic but good enough. The place is off the city center but well connected through public transportation few steps away.

It's a very comfy and quiet place. The only thing i was not happy about was the menue in the restaurant. Overall, good quality, good service, and nice rooms.

The rooms are spacious and acceptable in terms of cleanliness; The staff is helpful and friendly, but the hotel has no parking spaces (parking is in a private location). I didn't have time to have breakfast because at 6:30 it wasn't (?!) open yet.

Unfair rate conditions. In this hotel the flexible rate means you should cancel it 5 days in advance. I cancelled 4 days in advance and they charged me full price of 1st night. Be careful with their rate conditions, they could be really tricky!

Best hotel I've ever stayed in. Enjoyed the breakfast very much. Staff were nice to me and of course the room was very beautiful. I've slept very well. 100% recommended.

the staff is very friendly; the breakfast with a large selection of products; comfortable bed; nice view from executive room; The room looked as no one had been there to check the cleanliness for a few days, the shower beyond criticism - mould on the back wall and behind the door; the glasses in both the bathroom and the room had signs of use - finger and lip prints with lids covered with dust; Slogan and web- "IHG clean promise"- turns out not work work at all.

Nice modern hotel. The high floor city view is great. Although some distance to downtown city of Vienna, easy way to get here using Google map!

Rooms are very small and very poorly designed. It's good and fancy they have touch panel for lifts but they almost never work. Hotel staff at the breakfast are very rude and not approachable at all. If you do not speak their language then be ready to have a horrible breakfast experience. Highly not recommended at all.

First of all this hotel made our stay at lloret de mar amazing. I cannot put to words how kind ALL of the staff were. Location is excellent and the buffet was worth it! The spa is incredible we got very relaxed and it top of our days. The room was amazing and very clean. Complimentary coffee and tea was a nice touch. Najat and anass was amazing!! Anass was very welcoming and recommended us a nice restaurants nearby. Najat was so kind and helpful with my booking. Overall we were anxious because our flight got very delayed and we had to come at 6pm later than the check in time when we called they assured us that it us okay and even said “our priority is your safety and you relax on your vacation” they are very professional and genuinely kind hearted. The waiters at the restaurants are very kind also. I would recommend this hotel for everyone who wants to come to lloret de mar. Even will come back just to see the staff and enjoy. Again, thank you everyone for making our trip unforgettable.

Very nice hotel. Location is not great but the rooms are big and comfortable. The views in the upper floors are amazing. No breakfast included, you need to pay a bit over 20 euros for it. There are supermarkets, restaurants and clothing stores around the hotel.

It's not likely what would you hope for. Unlike India, Vienna and other European cities are still trying to get up after the knock by COVID. These are more like self servicing hotels. You won't get in the room services what it used to be. You have to ask for it in reception. However, their breakfast spread is amazing and services are also good. Highly recommended.

Loved my stay in Vienna and had an overall fantastic stay in the Holiday Inn Vienna South! Young staff but always very friendly and helpful. The room was neat and tidy, and the breakfast offered anything you need. Walk to the city center is approx. 30 min. and even though it's not the most centralised hotel I would always come back!

Well located hotel about 45 minutes from Vienna International Airport. Surrounded by numerous restaurants, two grocery shops and ample underground parking. Nice room size with a mini fridge, safe, and great view of Vienna. Wifi was also stable and fast enough to get work done via VPN. Nice touch was the Chrome Cast already in the room and connected. Breakfast was okay but a little repetitive as i was in for a two week stay. Staff were freindly and helpful. No dedicated line for higher tier IHG members at check-in/checkout. The only weird part was the hotel has 3 elevators, but you always seemed to be waiting a considerable amount of time. Would return and stay the next time I'm in Vienna.

On our last night at the hotel Patrik was awesome! I didn't know what I wanted, but he was able to put together the best tasting drinks that were PERFECT! I think they should add this "Patrik Specialty" to the regular menu! Antonio, with the front desk, hospitality staff was great as well and made sure that our stay was special! I wish I could say that we'd be back soon, but since we're from Texas, USA, I'm sad to say it won't be real soon. But since we are talking about another visit to the area, we will be back at this hotel. Fingers crossed Patrick and Antonio will still be here!

Terrible treatment by the receptionists. We were a group of workers checking in together but, maybe because of our dress code, the receptionists didn't even look at our faces and they were just attending some flight crew people who came after us. No-one has treated me like that, I never felt so insulted in my life. The room doesn't have fridge and it's very far from the city.

The hotel staff charged twice for reservations and hasn’t refunded back the double payment. Check in was difficult. Initially they refused check in since they stated I should wait 22 days for the vaccine to take effect. This rule only applies for J&J, and the staff wouldn’t believe me when I showed the official online tourism website regulations. They confirmed that I wasn’t checking in with a second person. However I then needed to switch rooms after they placed me in a room with two small beds instead of one queen bed. There was an issue with staff knocking on and opening doors daily in early mornings while the do not disturb sign was on the door.

I don't have anything bad to say about this hotel. Everything was great! The only thing that could be a bit better are the elevators. The elevators use one of those systems where you sellect your floor before getting in. It works but can be annoying sometimes. Everything else was simply excellent. Staff extremely friendly and are always willing to help you. The hotel is nice and clean. Rooms are good. And also the restaurant is good. Would highly recommend this hotel!
