30 minutes from airport with frequent trains. Perfect for late arrival, early departure to maximize sleeping time. Staff well trained, hotel is properly managed. Nice rooms, hot shower, slept well. Compared to bigger chains the people working here make the difference. Hyatt made a good choice to integrate the hotel chain.

The minute we tried to check in with 10 pieces of luggage, front desk Jessica was nothing but super helpful and wonderful! She was so thoughtful that she saw us traveling with a lot of luggage with two young kids, she even went extra miles to get us a more spacey room. We have stayed in Hyatt multiple times around the world, no doubt she provides the best service ever so far! I feel so happy and lucky to be able to meet someone like her in the beginning of our trip that I can already tell this trip is gonna be memorable! Thank you, Jessica! The girl who came to help us with sofa bed was absolutely sweet and great as well! Is this hotel only hire the right and best people or what!? I cannot rate the location cuz just like I said, I arrived in Vienna 2 hours ago, we haven’t even got to any place to explore yet.

I really enjoyed my stay here and will return again in a few months. The location was very convenient to Belvedere for a nice relaxing walk in the morning or for a spectacular sunset. There are some restaurants in the area and the tram passes right by the front of the hotel. The breakfast was great, especially the fresh squeezed orange juice machine. The customer service was friendly and very helpful when dealing with the horrible internet. I was working remotely and had almost no internet for one whole day. They switched my room and it was no better but then they provided me with a router and all worked well for the next few days. The lobby is kind of bare outside of the bar, so a nice sitting area could improve it. Fixing the internet, regardless of the cost, is a necessity in my opinion, especially now that they are part of Hyatt.

Okay stay. We had a room facing the road which was very noisy. The showers don’t have doors that close so be aware of that before booking. I know that is common in Europe but these were so small it was impossible to take a warm shower. Our biggest issue was the staff. Housekeeping did not come after the first night and when we vocalized that to the staff they said “they will come tomorrow” but did not ask for our room number or anything to fix the solution that day or ensure it would be fixed tomorrow. You could probably find a hotel for the same price but a better value.

Hotel is a bit dated and strange room layout with the bathtub/shower in the same areas as the bed. Primary issue with the stay was the hotel locking guest access to the thermostat and keeping the room at a warm 23.5-24.5 Celsius dependent on time of day. Don’t advertise you have AC at those temperatures if guests have no control and you keep rooms very warm in summer.

We had a great experience here. We stayed for 4 nights, only minor issue we had is that the pillows were really thin. The breakfast and personal are outstanding. Location wise you can go anywhere pretty easy and quick. The tram stops 100meters from the hotel and arrives every 6minutes.

Room was clean. Modern open bathroom cost it one star. Taking a shower is uncomfortable because it's cold without any possibility of closing a door. Other than that the service as well as the breakfast and dinner were great. Good location.

Amazing price/quality. All rooms renovated and impecable. Awesome gym and wellness room. I wish they highlighted more how awesome the views you can get are. You can have the vests views to Belvedere. Location is unbeatable.

Great location. Short walk to the closest tram/bus stop. Rooms were large, but storage space was the sacrifice for that. Staff was consistently friendly and helpful. Can't wait to stay here again.

This Lindner hotel is located quite centrally in Vienna next to castle Belvedere. To be honest the room was not modern and needs to be renovated in the near future. But it was spacious. I had difficulties to find power outlets as the few, which were there, were somewhat hidden. Nevertheless they gave me a room on the top floor and I could have a good rest, which important to me after some travels.

Rooms are fine, but you can get either big or medium sized Deluxe room, so be sure to ask for a bigger one. Service is so-so, got some problems when checking in, they were handled but with an annoyed look. Breakfast is very expensive (30e/person), but it's easy to get a better one in almost all nearby cafes for 1/3 of the price. Worst thing about the place is its location. Public transport around is as bad as it gets, you'll have to walk 15 mins to the nearest underground station. Trip to city center takes easily 30 min. Belvedere view is currently mostly hidden behind a big construction site.

The hotel was really nice, and for the most part staff was really nice. 1 star service is deducted because somebody entered our room to check the minibar (we didn't open the door for them). Breakfast was excellent, and the whole thing going on with the minibar was a good way to save the environment.

The bathroom is fully open!!! If you share your room with someone whom you don't want seeing you fully naked, avoid this hotel. Really awful design.

Disrespectful experience by the night attendant Mark. Had booked twin beds. We come to see that they'd given us a room with one bed that is technically two attached beds. Asked Mark if we could please have a roller bed so that we'd have two beds like we booked. He aggressively refused, and told us to manually split the beds and the bedding. It was midnight, which is why was asked for an extra roller bed. When my wife explained that it would be difficult for her now to split the bed, he said in a very aggressive tone "even a child could do it". He raised his tone of voice a lot, never had an experience like this before , especially at a Hyatt. This was such a bad experience that we checked out two days early. By the way, not sure which child can push apart two beds that aren't on wheels and redo all the bedding. Not sure how this hotel has the Hyatt name attached. Disappointed by a brand that I've trusted for years. As a side note, one of the rooms had a strange odor from the bathroom, but checked out anyways before we could inquire about it.

My room not was too big, but it was acceptable for 2 nights. Breakfast was delicious. The location of the hotel is just perfect.

Hyatt Explorist here so I have been to quite a few hotels in my life - simple, 4-star, 5-star, etc. This hotel is by NO way a 4-star anywhere in the world. Maybe 1-star or a motel masquerading as one. No AC (was asked to just open windows and soak in the street pollution, sounds, and smells - and yes sometimes this part of hotel does smell bad), no maintenance, poor Wi-Fi, really dirty lobby and common areas, no customer service, and manager MIA to even care. Decent location close to Belvedere Palace is the only saving grace. But other than that, AVOID at all costs. Plenty of much better 4-stars in Vienna.

A disappointment for Hyatt loyalists As an Explorist member, I received no upgrade, no bottle of water, and a tiny room with broken furniture and not even a phone in the room! I am a lifelong Hyatt loyalist (and was a Globalist member until the pandemic), but I will never stay at this property again. This hotel is one of the worst Hyatt properties I have ever stayed at. It was acquired by Hyatt last year, but it is still far from meeting Hyatt standards. This property is like the Ryanair of hotels.

The location is just ok - about a 15 minute walk to the center. Odd arrangement with no doors on the bathroom. Was traveling with a friend and we took turns in the room getting ready. Wireless did not work on the 7th floor and the people at the desk didn’t seem to care.

Great location close to the inner city and many sights such as the Belvere, and easy public transport. Rooms are big, and staff were all very helpful. However, there are definitely some areas for improvement: - The room has just two available power outlets, plus one more in the bathroom. Since it's been quite cold and I wanted to make hot tea, I asked for a hot water kettle (oddly that it's not in the room by default, unusual for hotels in this part of Europe), now I'm down to one free outlet. It's been a constant juggle of plugging and unplugging. There are no USB charging ports, which most hotels in this price range have these days. - The beds are really soft by German/Austrian standards. I didn't wake up with back pain, but I definitely prefer the firmer beds that most hotels in Germany/Austria have. - The coffee machine (the Segafredo Zanetti system) is fussy and doesn't make very good coffee. Often I'd drop in a pod and it would fall right through. When it did work, the coffee was way inferior to the Nespresso machines and capsules at similar hotels. - The wifi connection has been spotty - VoIP apps that worked flawlessly elsewhere would often drop. And it seems like you have to disconnect manually and reconnect every 24 hours, or your device gets no internet (yet stays connected). Have seen much more reliable and consistent internet connections at other hotels. These are relatively easy things to fix, I hope the hotel addresses these issues, because the basics (like the location) are great.

Junior suite. Interesting room formula. There is no actual bathroom as the bath is located at the corridor next to living room. You can really watch TV and a person at shower at the same time. Hotel has WiFi and Chromecast but the WiFi strength is ultra poor. From zero to low all the time. Then the cleaning. The bath and room surfaces had dust stripes and I was expecting them to be cleaned as I pointed them out. Well they were not. I guess the next customer is going to enjoy my butt hair when he/she takes a bath. Location is good, right next to public transportation.

The hotel's strategic location near the tram and proximity to the airport are positives. However, potential guests with dust allergies might want to reconsider, as the aging red curtains can trigger sneezing. Another drawback is the lack of available electrical plugs near the table, as the existing ones are allocated for room lights. The dated lighting, approximately 20 years old, adds to the list of cons. If you're a Hyatt status holder redeeming points, be aware that addressing concerns may be challenging, as the reservation team is located in Germany, not locally in Wien, according to the front desk. By the way, the red curtain is not covering a window but a solid brick wall! 😌 Update: talked to the hotel manager, Mr.Hossain, he was very helpful and resolved all of our concerns. He’s a good example that Lindner should learn how to do proper customer service. Had I encountered him prior, this hotel will get all 5 stars review.

The hotel, was our holiday destination in Vienna for 7 days, from the moment we arrived until we left the staff were excellent, the breakfast was plentiful and varied. The room was clean and big and we had no issues. We didn’t eat in the restaurant as we spent most days out and about but used the bar which was friendly and well managed. Having travelled from an apparent 4star hotel in the Uk before staying at the Lindner this hotel deserves at least a 6star.

A suburb hotel. The room was really nice, very comfortable large bed, loved the mini bar deal, more hotels should do that. The location is great, within easy walking distance of the city centre and the train station. The hotel has a gym and sauna which I enjoyed. The staff were all really nice and helpful. If I ever go back to Vienna I'll be staying here again.

The hotel is situated in an attractive area a little outside of the city centre, but within walking distance from main attractions. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Our room was on the side of the building which made it a quiet room. The hotel could use a little upgrading and although the staff was very friendly and welcoming, the services lack a little bit of attention for details. It is a very good 3 1/5* in my opinion.

I went to the Lindner Am Belvedere 2 nights instead of 4 (lockdown) and just one word: WONDERFUL! Staff were so kind with us despite the period. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve tried. Moreover, I’ve got a perfect room with a beautiful view on the Belvedere. I’m a travel agent in Belgium and I won’t forget to promote your hotel!

professional, friendly, helpful staff. Quiet rooms (for which we specifically asked and were granted while booking). Good bed, wonderful breakfast. Good location in direct neighbourhood of the Belvedere Gardens and the Botanical Garden. Tramway stop in front of the hotel, own park garage, city train stop within a few 100 meters

I have stayed with you several times and I really like the hotel. You have a very nice set-up with good, large business rooms and an excellent breakfast. However, the check-in time was long and on the second day I waited for more than 10 minutes only to get a parking ticket validated!!! All because on an understaffed front desk. That you will need to improve

As always, very, very satisfied with our stay at the Lindner Hotel am Belvedere and with all the staff who work there. Always very attentive and friendly ready to help you with any questions you may have. Very quiet, clean rooms with good views of the Belvedere Castle gardens and with everything you need. The breakfast is stratospheric. You have so much to choose from, that we would need several days to enjoy all the food and drinks they offer us :-) The hotel is very well connected, just a few meters from the Rennweg station exit, and in just 20 minutes by train, you're at the airport. The neighborhood is very quiet and offers very good options for eating. Congratulations to the all team and thank you for a job well done and kindness. See you again

The hotel is well located and had nice and clean rooms and friendly staff. Two negatives were there is no room service what so ever and the hotel seems to be having some serious back office issues that resulted in multiple false charges made to my friends credit card. This was only caught because he receives notifications when his card is billed. The fact the staff were not surprised by this leads me to believe it is a common occurrence. Check you credit card when staying here...

It's right next to the Belvedere palace and also close enough to the city center. Breakfast was pretty good and the room was clean. They offer all drinks in the fridge in case we accept no excessive cleaning policy during the stay. Very clever and environment friendly.

Great stay overall. Very nice breakfast with lots of choices including kaiserschmarrn...Hotel stuff was very friendly. Very nice and clean rooms as well as good hotel gym in case you need a workout. walking distance to the city center and nearby stores in case you need essentials... There is also a bar in the lobby with good selection of drinks in case you want to finish your evening somehow else beside by yourself in the room... Strongly recommended...

Stayed here on a trip to Vienna for work. Hotel is ideally located for public transport around the city, the rooms were good and the staff welcoming. Ate at the restaurant one evening, good quality food and fast service (although I was the only patron at the time).

Hotel staff very professional and eager to help with any chance. Breakfast amazing. Cleanness everywhere. Minibar is complimentary if you skip cleaning room service. Hotel location at walking distance from city center and good transportation connection. Only downsize is the bathroom model which has partial open bathroom (toilet in a closed space, bathtub/shower and sink divided from the room with only a wall. My personal preferrence is with closed door all the way :) Nevertheless, i will return if i’m ever in town.

Fantastic hotel. From its location to the room, its staff and facilities. Our stay was everything we could've asked for. Supreme comfort in spacious rooms and very clean. Spoilt for choice at breakfast. Can't fault it in anything.

Stayed here for a work conference. Wonderfully comfy bed and the location is perfect. Easy walking distance for most of the attractions in Vienna and easy access to public transit for everything else.

The Staff and Hotel was fantastic with only little improvements possible in my opinion. Breakfast was unbelievable in all respects including the extended breakfast Times on Sunday. I can only recommend slight improvements in the Breakfast such as availability of Ginger for the juicer, the toilet doors in the room to be lockable and replacement of damaged cue sticks at the billiard table otherwise this Hotel is definitely one of the top rated ones i have seen. More deckchairs required in the Sauna.

  • 1/5 Victor D. 1 year ago on Google
I booked it specifically for the fitness and sauna which is under renovation. Without any notice beforehand or any other proposals when i expressed my disappointment. On top of that the heating in the room making a metallic ringing noise (not the regular noise). The front desk advised me to simply turn it off whilst it is freezing outside. Other than that nice central hotel

We stayed at the Lindner Hotel for a conference that we organized in their meeting rooms. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. All our colleagues were extremely enthousiastic. Some highlights: - Meeting rooms were very spacious, airy and will all the technical appliances we needed - Coffee breaks and lunches vry well organized with plenty of variety. - Excellent services of the entire Hotel crew: at breakfast, reception etc. - Very spacious and clean rooms. A well-stocked minibar, enough towels etc. - Large fitness and a very comfortable wellness area (again very tidy, plenty of towels as well) - Outstanding breakfast. It's very rare to come across a hotel that offer such a large variety of pastries, bread, rolls etc. And so many vegan and gluten-free options! Definately not skip breakfast as this was one of the highlights of our stay - The hotel is withing 10 minutes walking from the city centre and around the corner of the Belvedere Museum. You can do everything by foot. We enjoyed our stayvery much so I can highly recommend the Lindner for business events as well as for private stays.

Great room, comfortable bed and most things worked. On the other hand, we told the reception on evening checkin that we wanted to go directly to the sauna. When we got to the room we realized there were no bathrobes. Also, none in the sauna chaning area. Turn out, you should ask for these at the reception. Really? The receptionist should have offered. The sauna area had lockers with keys in them, only 1 of which was available. The guest behind me had no place to keep their clothes. Not only that, but the keys were not labeled, so you had to rely on memory to be sure to not be completely lost finding the right locker after the sauna! The last one, to top it off was room service. There are no menus in the room. There is no phone in the room (luckily, I have a local phone, but anyone from outside the EU is on a long distance call to get the reception). There is no menu on the website or on the TV/entertainment system. So I call the restaurant. They asked what I'd like... exactly. Their advice? Come down to the ground floor restaurant to check the menu and then I can order into the room. Yes. That's really what they said. Good service, the waitress actually brought a menu up to my room so as not to disappoint a customer, but this is a terrible system.
