Pretty good place to stay. The location is wonderful, not too far away from good tram stops, or subway stops. Other places you can walk to easily. The staff were very pleasant, and even at breakfast those who didn't speak much English still tried to be inclusive when they could. You can tell when the staff enjoy what they do. The food itself was good for the price, and served early enough that you can have an emergency fuelling session before going out, or even if you are leaving early in the morning. The rooms were fine, lots of options, clean enough to stay. Quiet too, the street noises didn't bother us. Given the time of year though, there were a lot of fruit flies in the room even since we opened the door, and the air conditioning was a bit weak and pathetic. Still, a nice home-base while travelling to rest, recover, and get ready for going elsewhere. It's an apart-hotel too so if you wish to cook in your room, you can do so. But certain features such as the microwave grilling function are banned as they apparently set off the smoke alarm. We ate out so it wasn't a problem for us, but it might be awkward for those who have this limitation.

We couldn’t open the window of the room, it was locked for fire reason, we asked for a change and they say they couldn’t do anything. We asked for a fan two times and they gave us one after saying they didnt have one. The room was like an oven, the air didn’t flow as everything was closed, when we had a shower al the steam stayed into the room. No ventilation at all. If you cook the warm stays and the smell as well. The shower was blocked, the water didn’t flow form the drain and we had to stop the tap many times while having the shower. We Ask in reception to check the shower and the ventilation, they never checked anything. After two days, we tried again as we slept 4/5 hours at night because of the hot inside the room, one of the girls working offer us to change the room (paying the cleaning fee). Even if we shouldn’t pay, as we asked for a room change as soon as we check in when we see it was impossible and unhealthy to be in that room with no ventilation at all, and they refuse to change, saying they couldn’t do anything. Also, we booked a queen bed and instead of having one big blanket we had two single blankets which were really uncomfortable. We want to highlight the girl working which I don’t remember her name but pretty sure it startawith E. Even if we had to pay, she gave us a solution and we could sleep and shower the rest of the stay.

Perfect bedroom ! We liked the sauna too. we regret the absence of pan/frying pan to cook... only a microwave and a kettle. The dishwasher is a plus. We liked the pillows and the duvet, would it be possible to have the brand ? :) thank you!

Really comfortable apart hotel close to transport links and a good base to explore Vienna. Rooms are a decent size that are clean and relaxing. Very friendly staff that are available to help throughout the day and night. A convenient supermarket is close by and there is excellent refrigeration space in the room. The kitchenette amenities are basic but do the job; there is no complimentary tea/coffee in the room. It would be great if the kitchen had a toaster too! Overall a very comfortable place to stay and my room was ideal for solo travellers or couples. Make sure you book a room where you can open windows as, typical Vienna, the rooms get very warm and the air conditioning is poor. The average outside day temperature during my stay was 11-12 degrees.

Charming little hotel right in the city center. Staff has been super helpful, free wifi - fast and reliable, and the cafe downstairs, Go!WIEN, offers home cooked meals and vegetarian options.

Excellent accommodation conditions, communication with staff was very good. Very good auxiliary services! I forgot things in my room and they sent them to me in Romania by mail. Keep it up! Good job! I will gladly return to this hotel.

Very convenient hotel to stay here. I was only here 3 nights but it had everything I needed. Location is perfect… tram stop right outside the door, or a short walk to train station (Schwedenplatz). Hotel gym and sauna are well equiped and spacious… the room has everything you need. One little improvement that could be made is with the lighting, needs betters lights, in the bathroom at least. Would happily stay here again!

a hotel in a good location and excellent transport connections! the hotel itself is quite simple and barren but clean! the room is small but the bed is big but the mattress on the bed was thin and worn out! the bathroom was large and clean and looked like it had been renovated. good closet space as well. we were only for one night so we were satisfied in that respect.

Very good location , walking distance to the main centre of Vienna. The room was very clean and tidy, beds were 2 singles pushed together, cutlery plates etc were provided but no condiments or oil if you wanted to cook. The room is not cleaned but you can ask for clean towels at reception if needed. I found the room far too hot , the window could not be opened to let fresh air in. Personally i don't think i would stay here again because of that.

The location of this hotel is strategic because with tram 1 and 2 you can get anywhere, and the metro is a 5-minute walk away. The rooms are cosy and clean. Recommended for a weekend in Wien!

Update. Refund was complete, so I will give it a 5. ------------------------------- I’ve rated this hotel to 1 for the following reason: 14 days after my check-out passed and I didn’t received the refund of those 50 euros (payed at the hotel reception). In addition, I’ve tried to contact the hotel via Booking platform but no one answered me. Ok, you keep those 50 euros, but I want an answer why. From my perspective, I’ve let everything ok. It is the 1st time after tens of vacations and hotels when I didn’t get my money back. Except this aspect, I will rate the hotel with a 9/10. It is good that you’re located close to city center and all pretty close to Prater. That’s what I was looking for when I booked this hotel (to be between this two main attraction to allows me walking to both of them). You have a small kitchen with all the necessary equipment for fast lunch (e.g microwave, refrigerator, plates, forks, knives, cups etc). Overall it’s a good price-quality ratio for that area. I didn’t like that in the pictures they showed me a bigger room with two tables and in the checked room I get only one desk. The light bulbs were not providing enough light. I didn’t like that the care products (e.g. soap, shampoo, shower gel) were not packed individually (there is only one bottle which they refill it every time). Also the smell of this care products was not the best. No slippers. The air conditioning system doesn’t work (I wanted to warm the room and it didn’t work. You can set a temperature or something. There are only numbers from -5 to 5 and three levels of power. I set the maximum level and 5 and no warm air.)

Everything was nice. The rooms are very well equipped and prepared for a long stay. The capacity of the room is good and suitable for kids. I only wished to have room service during our stay. The hotel is nice and in a very good location 5 mins walk from the metro station and the area itself is nice near to the river and many restaurants are around.

We decided to stay in this aparthotel for our days In Vienna, it is now that we can see the great choice we made. The location was so nice, making it easier to walk through the city so to visit all the monuments of the city. The staff was super super nice, they helped us with everything with a big and warm smile on their faces, even if we didn't speak their language. When it comes to the rooms, they provide everything you need, having a kitchen is so convenient and helpful. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfy. They also have a left luggage service which turns to be incredibly comfortable if you want to go for a last walk around the city on the day of your check out. Thank you for everything to the staff and congratulations for the great job!

The rooms were honestly decent, but what I can‘t deal with is an entitled staff employee who ruins the whole experience for me. This Gentleman named Arun at the front desk was dismissive and impolite. On top of that he was raising his voice towards his colleagues in a very unprofessional manner. People like him shouldn’t be visible to clientele because he ruins the whole service experience in my opinion. As somebody who has worked in HR and with Hotels I can guarantee you that such behavior shouldn’t be tolerated in any respectable establishment.

We stayed at the Adagio for 6 nights. Several things were bothersome. One of the night clerks is rude and not helpful. Wish I knew her name to tell you. This is not a hotel. So don't think of it as one. Upon arrival you have to sign a contract about ways they will fine you. They don't clean the rooms unless over 7 days. You take out your own garbage. Need toilet paper - go to the front desk. The breakfast service has to be reserved a day in advance. My partner was not feeling well and after several days requested new sheets and told they don't do that unless you pay. Not even to put them on yourself. The front door locks and you need to get buzzed in somewhere after midnight. That wasn't reviewed at check in. We requested top floor. The roof is angled so you lose half the room ceiling. The Adagio is old and the rooms are fine but the carpets and walls in hallways are awful. Dirty and old. Overall for the price it is not worth it. Only saving grace is day desk clerk. She is great.

Friendly staff, perfect location, great rooms, nice breakfast. What do I’ve to say more? We stayed here for two nights and our stay was perfect. The staff is really very friendly which makes our stay even better. The location is just a 10 minute walk from the train station (Vienna Mitte) and the tram station is just a few steps from the hotel. We used the citybike system which has a station near the hotel to. So if you want to stay in Vienna for a city trip, just stay here, you don’t regret it.

The room was so small and the window was sealed so it was very stuffy. There was no room service for fresh towels.. You've to ask yourself. On arrival we were told our room is was more or less not great but they could change it the next day. That was ominous. When we did request this we were told we'd have to pay €10 more per night or double for a bigger one. We were told that the €10 more one wasn't much bigger so not worth it. Also there were nine available. If we had been staying a couple of nights we may have put up with it but we were staying for one week and this hotel is supposed to be 4 star. No way! We checked out after two nights. The girl on the desk said it was a "misunderstanding" and there were better rooms available but we'd found an alternative by then. The hotel refused to refund or even part refund us. I asked them to do the honest thing but they refused. Not very nice considering we'd travelled a long way there from Ireland and were expecting a 4 star hotel. Its a pity people can't be decent. I think this hotel is OK for a night or two at most but if you want comfort and good service don't go here. Its not that near the centre either.

Modern hotel close to the central Vienna and Mitte station. Comfortable, clean, offering breakfast, WiFi, kitchenette , safe, small shop in the lobby and all you need to feel great. Very close to Prater Park or Stephansplatz or other attractions of the beautiful city. A perfect place to stay when visiting Vienna.

Extremely satisfied! It's a really good deal compare to simple hotels. Room is large and kitchen is fully equipped. 20' walking distance from the city centre otherwise tram & metro stations are in front of the door. Very nice and caring staff. Special tribute to Arun who us simply awesome and provide good advices.

Great hotel, very clean, located to a very central area. Friendly hosts, they gave us a room upgrade without an extra cost. Only issue, the mattress was a bit rough, but overall, highly recommend this hotel!!

Not a confortable hotel at all. Cleaning far from correct. Rooms looks old and very ugly decoration (yellow lights and red decoration). Curtains with holes, only one nightstand, very slow hairdryer.... No insonorization at all....there's a tram infront of the hotel which you can hear every 10min so loud..... Definetly a very bad choice for high rate paid. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In response to the Hotel comments: Lack of cleanness included a black hair inside my bed and dirty floor near the toilet. Of course it was at the arrival....It was almost 00.00h so I cleaned by myself as I was tired after a long trip. Regading hairdryer it would help a sign informing that better devices are available upon request. Regarding lack of insonorization I do always state "quiet room" when booking so I assumed that was the best option....In any case I love city views and usually (in hotels with certain rates) it includes insonorization. Finally regarding room design we all know that pictures are many times not so related with reallity but this is the only point I can accept it is subjective. In any case, thanks for your comments and I hope my clarifications can be helpful.

It was a great experience, these are studios and not merely rooms. Very smart utilization of space and has a full functional kitchen complete with vessels, cutlery etc.. there is a dishwasher and a vacuum cleaner too. Cleanliness: Rooms were very clean and sanitized however while taking the room I was clearly informed that there would be no room service. So that's fine. The toiletries were very basic set of papers and an all in one wash gel. There are enough towels and you can always ask reception for more Location is another big plus point, it is right at the heart of the town. Step right out and you have the tram and bus stops. Walk a little bit and you will notice that this place is surrounded by restaurants and bubbling with tourists. Breakfast is nothing to write home about. It is very basic Service is good I liked how the staff fixed an issue that I had earlier very nicely.

Very nice apparthotel in the city center. The room was clean, well equipped and with a lot of storage space. The staff was nice. We arrived at 11 am, just to leave our luggage, but the receptionist checked our room if it was already cleaned. It was so he let us check in early! Using public transportation is really convenient as tram 1 and 2 stopes at the hotel and the subway is also close. Planning to stay here again.

We've been at the Adagio Hotel for four nights. The hotel location was good for us. Not in the middle of the city center but not far either, only 15 min. walk from St. Stephen's Cathedral. The room was small but clean with equipped kitchen which is cool! The staff were very friendly. But... the oven didn't work , and also the air-condition didn't cool enough so during the nights it was 🔥. Most important- we were disappointed to realise that there is no daily cleaning services. Room service is why we choose a hotel room and not Airbnb.. with a kitchen inside the room we had a lot of garbage which we had to handle by ourselves..and after sweating all night we could enjoy fresh curtains

I like my stay here. The staff is nice. But the gym is just a joke. Only one treadmill and one bicycle, both don't work. Overall the hotel is good. Quite even at day, everything you might need to cook a quick bite. The markets are nearby - Spar and Billa. Nice river view

Clean Value for money Location Central Enough Good and friendly service from reception 17-18min walk to Luxury Boutique (Chanel/Dior) Parking garage nearby for 24euro/day (get card from hotel) usually price $40euro Paid $10 extra a night for a room with Windows (they highlighted if never pay and upgrade, we will have rooms with windows that can’t be opened) - not complaining but seems like a usual sales Tactic Loved that the hotel got a mini shop that has many simple food items. Will recommend to stay.

Nice apart hotel and in great location, unfortunately let down by room temperature being too hot, can't open window and air con very poor.

  • 4/5 Serge G. 1 year ago on Google
Nice hotel but the superior room is definitely worth the little extra cost as it is much bigger. Especially if there are two of you. Staff was nice. Location was good. Lots of good restaurants within 10 min walk toward center. Grocery store Billa is a block away. Lobby could use a little update.

I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for the outstanding service provided by one of your front desk staff member Rahima during my recent stay at Adagio Hotel in Vienna. From the moment I arrived, she demonstrated a level of professionalism, attentiveness, and warmth that truly made our experience exceptional. The check-in process was made easy and convenient, thanks to her efficiency and courtesy. Her commitment to ensuring our stay was enjoyable was evident when I asked for recommendations on things to do in town with my family. Not only did she provide us with a wealth of helpful literature, but she also shared several personal favorites, which added a personalized touch to our stay. What stood out the most was the passion and care she displayed throughout our interaction. Her genuine concern for our comfort and satisfaction was incredibly comforting, making us feel truly valued as guests. It's this kind of hospitality that leaves a lasting impression and sets Adagio Hotel apart. Because of this remarkable experience, I can confidently say that I will be returning to Adagio Hotel in Vienna for any future visits to the area. Furthermore, I plan on recommending your hotel to all my family and friends who may be visiting Vienna. Thank you for fostering such a positive and welcoming environment through your dedicated and exceptional staff. Wishing you continued success and looking forward to future stays at Adagio Hotel.

Room had a weird smell during our three day stay and was too hot but we were told by the clerk that there was nothing to do since the AC apparently doesn’t work in all Vienna during winter according to her (we are not sure about this to be honest!) and our windows couldn’t be opened. Do note that there’s no cleaning service, or at least ours wasnt cleaned during our stay. We were also given our room an hour and a half late due to a delay with the cleaning. Aside from that, the hotel has a good location, conveniently in front of a tram station that connects to other parts of the city.
