I had a great time at this hotel. It was for one night, I wasn’t at room for the whole day. My things were safe, I slept very good in clean and refreshed sheets, had a warm GREAT breakfast, few very quality lattes, the staff was very friendly so I will come again this week. Very happy to be here again ❤️ PS. I saw negative reviews, and I experienced few things that could be uncomfortable, but with smile and warmth everything cam up great. So, be happy to have this option for slepover in Vienna for THIS PRICE 🌼

The rating was low on google and I didn’t expect much from this hotel, but it was ok. Clean enough, breakfasts aren’t offering big variety, but you can find smth for yourself. The only thing was parking that we had to pay additionally for. You don’t get a key or they do not assign a parking space at the reception. As if you could drive in there without payment… The location is around 50 minutes by foot to the city center

The price in my opinion is a little on the high side for a budget hotel. Keep in mind that parking is separate at 14euro/day and the metro U3 is a decent walk away (not far not close). Also it's located in the Simering district with absolutely nothing to do or see. But the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Overall we came to Ibis just to sleep as Vienna has so much to ofer)

We got a little more than we expected! Fair price for a fair room and service. The check-in is fast, checking out is instant (just throw key in a box). Good location, metro station near, many shops in walking distance. The conditioner was working surprisingly well and kept our room at a cool temperature. Breakfast costs 10€ and is optional.

The room was quiet and clean. It was very spacious. Easy check-in and check-out. The breakfast had a variety of choices. Overall great place to stay at.

NEGATIVES *The receptionist was very rude. When we asked about room rates, he aggressively replied. *There were very few sockets for phone charging in the rooms and these were far from the bed. Charging the phone is very inconvenient. * Rooms are very small. No place to open suitcases, no lockers. *Single beds were very narrow and not comfortable. *At the time of booking, we made a reservation by asking "especially" if there is a luggage room. However, when we checked out, we learned that there is no luggage room. While trying to explain this situation to the hotel manager, he told us there was nothing he could do and turned away. This was extremely rude behavior. Since our flight was in the evening, we had to find a place for our suitcases and had to spend a few hours on it. *The hotel is far from the city center. * There was no bar in the hotel where you can buy food and drink. ***I WILL NEVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL AGAIN*** POSITIVES *There are several markets around the hotel. * 500 m from the metro station. * Cleanliness is not bad

Two words to describe my stay… BED BUGS! This Ibis Budget was so disgusting, I woke in the morning after my first night covered in bed bug bites and when I talked to the front desk, they acted as if it was not their problem. The only solution they offered me was to change the linens, I had to demand a room switch and they said they couldn’t do anything else for me. Our shower also leaked all over the floor, puddles and puddles of water everywhere. I understand that this is a budget hotel, and believe me I’ve stayed in my fair share of them, but this hands down has been the worst. If you can spare any extra money, stay somewhere else.

The room has everything you need for a cheap price. The hotel is clean and close to a parking garage and subway station.

Everything is practical, no frills, clean, and actually quite roomy. Public transport is not too far away, so ideal for optimizing time in beautiful Vienna. Friendly staff. Close to some supermarkets, which we find practical as well.

Great hotel in Wien. You can easily go to city center by metro from Gasometer metro station. Rooms are clean and new. Shower works well. There is a garden in the middle of the hotel to smoke or drink. A good market near the hotel. I prefer here. Thanks to all workers.

Decent budget Hotel, got a good reception but a very "who cares" check out. Rooms very clean but Spartan, I don't see how you could watch the TV from the bed and there's no chair. Breakfast is of the continental type. Very convenient for two concert venues though that does mean a vocal crowd on Gig nights. Does what it's supposed to at a reasonable price.

Reasonably-priced and they accept pets--vital as I was traveling with my two cats. The rooms are well-arranged for hosting pets and mine was roomy and comfortably. Well-located for things like ATM and essentials shopping. The trip to the airport from here took a mere 10 minutes by taxi.

Their rooms and the look of them are what is dropping their score. The staff is awesome, helpful and cheeful, the food in the buffet is good, the location is great, it is clean, but the rooms are ... strange? The sink is out of the toilet room and the shower, there is no even small wardrobe, I understand this is only budget hotel but they can organize the space in the room much better.

Very cool hotel, clean room, and a great price for it. Check in and check out was fast. The only small problem is the isolation of the hotel, you can hear everything happening, when a neighbour closes the door for example, but only a problem if you are a light sleeper.

Hotel is not far away from the center of the city, it takes you about 20 minutes to get to the main square. Room was clean, but it was a bit unusual that the bathroom wasn't separeted from the bedroom. Check-in and cehck-out were really fast, but it is a shame that there is no luggage storage near the hotel. You only have two sockets in the room and one of them is near a pipe so it is a bit hard to charge your phone if there is two of you in the room. We didn't hear a lot of noise.

Far away from everything, bad air quality, terrible beds but clean. The coffee dispenser didn't work. People tried to enter my room two times. Loud environment. My nose was congested from the aircon. If turned off you feel like in an oven. Bright light switches above your head, no outlets close to bed. Was only able to sleep for 2h because of breaking in attempts and people having intimate times (in the hallway?). You can hear your neighbours and so they can hear you. Dangerously slippery shower. Check in and out was quick.

In the nearby of the metro station and a grocery store. The rooms are poor, but are perfect if you are visiting the city. As a tourist all you need is a bed and a bathroom , therefore is perfect

Rooms are really small, but stay was comfortable. When I checked in hotel was out of staff or guests where too many, so room was cleaned only on request. The staff at reception were really good and ready to help!

This hotel has the worst services ever. The staff are so rude and unprofessional. First, when we arrived, we said hello to the receptionist, he said “what” instead of “how can I help you?”. No smiles, no thank you. Before check out, they came to knock our door 2 times. The first one the woman knocked the door at 10am and opened our door after 2 seconds. She asked when we will check-out, we told her we would check out at 12:00 and then one hour later 11:00 they knocked the door again. Unbelievable! I think if Google has minus stars, I would rate -5. Terrible!

Apart from the utterly hideous location it is not so bad. Only 20min Ubahn to city center. Staff were very kind and helpful and spoke many languages. Room was surprisingly nice and clean for a budget hotel. Having the sink outside the toilet in the middle of the room is a bit weird but a non-issue really. Comfy bed. The one little problem is that the rooms have very few outlets and in weird spots so you cannot always use your devices while they are charging.

Room clean, clean towels, no wardrobes, toilet has no ventilation, vierd cable box near bed (see pics). Guy working at the check-in really helpful and freindly.

terrible service. The reception staff is super rude and unwilling to serve. they did not pass to clean the room on more than one occasion. They didn't let me leave my luggage (two carry on) for hours until my flight left. For the first time in my life something like this has happened to me. Even the cheapest hotels have your luggage for you. It is not an obligation, IT IS COURTESY They didn't want to lend me a hair dryer in the middle of winter in Austria. Horrible Service

Very poor experience. Never coming again. If you are a family of 2 adults and two children you have to take two rooms per night, which is ok, but you should not find out at the moment of the check in. Very poor breakfast and rude staff that is swearing customers. The only thing that was ok was the cleanness of the room and the parking.

Room was small. Less or almost no furniture. One chair and a 2 feet fixed desk. Dont even have a wardrobe to keep cloths. A coat hanger is only place we can put cloths. Toilet and bathroom separate and both are tiny. Not sure if all rooms are like this or only the one i stayed. In general not value to money at this location. There was a heater/airconditioner and i couldnt make the ac to work and the at night it was too hot and had to open window and sleep. stayed for 1 night only. Did a last min booking (for sat night) directly at thier website for 108Eur with breakfast. breakfast was ok and with some limited varieties of items. no complaints. Better to pay for breakfast at property as i feel its cheaper than paying along with the room booking. Car parking is underground and 14 eur per night. ticket validation is near the lift. There is a huge P + R around 300mts away and it cost 4.1Eur for 24hrs if you are on budget. If this review is helpful please like.

The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. There were only two power sockets in the whole room, and they were nowhere close to the bed, which was a bit problematic. Also, I didn’t like that the shower cabin was separated from bedroom space only by glass (rather than being located in the washroom along with a toilet), but since it’s a budget friendly place to stay, I didn’t mind. The only thing that irritated me was that the receptionist didn’t allow me to leave my luggage (1 bag) somewhere in the hotel (after checking out), since I had my flight late in the night.

I went to this Hotel during my trip to Wien with my girlfriend and everything was really good! Friendly staff, good location, near from public transports. The receptionist was really attentive giving us tips of activities across the city, recommended us a few restaurants (really good, btw). The room was very clean and everything looked organized. For sure I'll take in consideration to stay there for the next trip to Wien.

Had a messy check-in that not only took time but the receptionist was rather unfriendly. Rooms are worse compared to the other ibis budget I stayed at with this one only having two power sockets in the entire two bed room with the bed controls not working at all. Pretty clean though. Short walk away from two U-Bahn stops and the bus terminal.

It’s was our first time here. The receptionist guy who was working yesterday afternoon and evening was very nice (I don’t know his name). Everything seems so clean, and the only thing we didn’t expect it’s the breakfast buffet. It’s not worth the money. Anyway, let’s see! (9/9/22)

What you would expect from a budget hotel: clean but basic. The location is a bit industrial, near a motorway, and a few km from the centre, but it's not far from 2 U-bahn (metro) stations, so easy to reach. Buffet breakfast was perfectly acceptable. It's not cheap, but, given that it's in Vienna, the price is reasonable.

Would not give this even half of star. It felt like we were in a homeless shelter. There were no towels in the room and when we went downstairs at the reception to ask for towels, we've been asked if we need two. The towels had a funny smell. We at least managed to shower and sleep. The breakfast was included the price, the buffet offered a piece of ham and some cheese and some croissants (not fresh) and orange juice mixed with water. The place was not very clean either. Would certainly 100% not recommend this to anyone. For the amount of money we paid for two people we would have been better booking a very clean airbnb studio apartment or a different hotel.

Its a budget hotel! In my opinion one night stay is not that cheap. I will recommend only for a night stay. They don’t have a restaurant and a Few good options to eat nearby. Room are as per Ibis standard but amenities are better in other Ibis budget hotel in Germany and Poland! Location is not good.

Expect to get budget service from a budget hotel. Room was clean but rather looking used. Matress was kind of tight for a twin, while the pillows were very small and hard, not good for headrest. Only 2 towels in the bathroom. Breakfast not the best but you can get something too eat. Juice vending machine fills the glass to 50.5%. Press fill again and you'll go over the top. Room cleaning was after 6pm. Price for parking 14€/day is a bit extreme, but its underground and protected. More than 2* because it is very close to a metro station, so perfect for in and out of town. No need to use the car. Staff helpfull with the questions.

Excellent accommodation for the price. Staff speaks fluent english and is helpful. My room was basic, but neat and tidy. Equipped with all the necessary stuff such as soap and towels. The only drawback was that power outlets were nowhere near the bed. Breakfasts are simple but tasty. Nothing to complain about. Billa market is right next to the hotel which is very convenient.

Indeed a 4-5 min walk from Gasometer U-bahn station, a very convenient location if you plan to ride U-bahn directly to the city center. The area was entirely empty and silent late in the evening. I do mean it was e-n-t-i-r-e-l-y e-m-p-t-y, literally. I stayed in the mid-November, midweek. I felt not really confident while returning to the hotel alone after 23.00. It felt a bit like the Third Man experience, only the sounds of my steps in the neighborhood. But, leaving at 7 a.m. in the morning the area was full of life, crowded. The hotel staff members were either a friendly but not very experienced or a more effective but less caring about being nice. Adequate overall. Stayed for the first time with this chain. My room on the ground floor and the facilities were clean. But since I traveled not for business I didn't enjoy its general faceless vibe. Adjacent rooms probably weren't occupied, everything was silent during the night. No sounds from Arena music venue across the street as well, but I stayed midweek. Gasometers as a Viennese non-overtouristed nearby historical/architectural attraction were amazing to walk in (they all are interconnected, with a shopping moll inside) and around, to feel like a local.

Great hotel for the money! Spacious and clean rooms and a comfortable bed. Perfect for gigs at the arena or gasometer.

  • 3/5 a a. 2 years ago on Google
Only one chair in 2 bed room, no fridge, toilet kind of claustrophobic as well as the shower. Receptionist was very quiet and hard to understand. Self checkout is nice, store 1 minute away.
