This hotel is listed as 5 stars, but in my opinion, it's more like 7! Everything, every little detail, and everywhere you turn, there is always something that comes up to impress you. Whether it's the fully serviced rooms with (literally) everything in them from bath robes to motion sensor low-powered guided lights to the exquisite built in bar/coffee corner, to the free (and unlimited) water bottles in the lobby, to the free tea / coffee down stairs within the central lobby area. The staff is super duper courteous and extremely helpful. The breakfast is full of options and choices whether you are on a gluten-free diet or vegan. Finally, the rooftop is a masterpiece by itself where you can lay back and sip your cocktail while enjoying a 360-degree view of Vienna. I've been to 100's of hotels in my life, but this one definitely eats the cake! Kudos to the hotel manager for a super job well done, and a big Bravo 👏 to a staff that is truly trained to be hospitable to the highest degree. Thank you for a memorable vacation in Vienna, which a big part of was our stay at the Andaz!!!!

I stayed at the Andaz in Vienna for an around 4 days business trip and was incredibly impressed. This hotel really is 5+ star and extremely classy. Be it the impeccably furnished rooms boasting a comprehensive array of amenities, ranging from bathrobes to energy-efficient motion-sensor lighting, or the stylishly integrated in-room bar and coffee nook. The considerate touches, like the provision of complimentary and limitless water bottles in the lobby, along with the availability of free tea and coffee in the central lobby area downstairs, collectively enhance the overall impressive atmosphere. The rooftop is a masterpiece in its own right, offering a perfect setting to recline and savor your cocktail while relishing a panoramic 360-degree view of Vienna. Will definitely book if I ever come to Vienna again personally on a trip again in future. Thank you for a memorable trip in Vienna, stay at andaz will always be memorable.

Front desk staff is the most horrible I have ever encountered, travelling all over Europe, Americas, and Asia. They tell hotel guess at check-in that rooms are not ready, unless you upgrade for a handsome fee. If you do not want to upgrade you could wait for 30-60 min because your “specific” room is “not ready.” We waited for half and hour, and the woman who first helped us left her shift, her colleague said, sorry I’m not sure what she told you, but please wait for another hour. This is what they told everyone while we waiting in the lobby to witness this horrible service & unethical sales practice. Lobby was full of people because they refused to check anyone without additional fee. It’s ridiculous, Holiday Inns have better service than this 🤣 I would strongly recommend Le Meridian in Vienna, which is a 4-5 star hotel, and it is walking distance to all the tourist attractions, and wonderful and professional staff. No need to deal with the nonsense at Andaz!

I generally really like Hyatt hotels, however this one had several flaws. Ordering from room service was not easy to figure out and there was no in room menu so you had to go to the TV and sort through many screens and figure out if you needed to first add an order before you could see what the choices were... Also, when you call to the host he appears to have a different concept of what hosting is then I do. I asked if I could get some ice to the room and he told me that I needed to call room service and hung up without letting me know how to call room service which is not listed as an option on the phone. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable and the shower was amazing.

I didn’t stay at the hotel I found a better one, they say they are a five star hotel but I wouldn’t even rate them as a one star because a one star hotel would treat me better. They have got the worst employees at the reception as if they owned the hotel. Today I arrived at the hotel the lady at the front desk was not welcoming and was very disrespectful and her manager too so I canceled the room reservation, because she threw the pin and the paper and said “sign” as if I was working for her, So I canceled the room. very unprofessional people. I hope the Andz contact me.

I‘ve been a fan of Hyatt hotels already. But Andaz still Stan’s out. It has everything I expect from a five star venue. Very friendly, professional staff (everywhere), but still unintrusive. Great contemporary interior style, large rooms (even the standard ones) with comfy bed and large bathroom. We also held a business meeting (~30 participants) at the conference zone - room was large, up-to-date infrastructure, high quality catering (not the standard stuff) and attentive service here as well.

I used this hotel when I traveled to Vienna. The front desk staff was very friendly and I immediately felt the service was excellent upon arrival. The room was sunny and clean and also had a great view. We also loved the Saint Chrales amenities. The area is a bit far from the city, but it is a quiet area and we were able to enjoy the peace and quiet.

We stayed at the Andaz in Vienna for a weeklong trip and were incredibly impressed. The staff reached out beforehand to make sure that our upcoming stay was perfect. The hotel itself is very clean and well appointed. It’s modern, while still retaining a bit of authentic charm. The location is slightly outside of the center of the city, but it’s very accessible via walking or taxi. I like the quiet location, personally, and it’s extremely close to parks and Belvedere Palace. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had breakfast in the room almost everyday, and the food was outstanding. There are also several restaurants on site that are just as good. Will definitely book again if I ever find myself in Vienna in the future!

As fans of Hyatt properties, we decided to stay here while visiting Vienna, even though it's a bit outside of the center of the city. Overall it's totally worth it to be able to stay here. It's got a totally different vibe than other high end Hyatt properties, but no less luxurious. Everything is very modern and funky, with lots of modern artwork, a uniquely designed building and funky rooms. The rooms themselves are spacious by European standards and are packed with features like different lighting options, large windows and high end coffee and toiletries. The overhead rain shower was an especially nice touch, however there is no door to the shower, so this probably isn't the best place for families to stay. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were disappointingly thin and flimsy, definitely not what I expect from this level of hotel. Our room had a view of the rail yard, which luckily wasn't too loud. The location of the hotel may be outside of the city center, but there is a convenient tram stop just one block down. Service was friendly, but I do wish they had a better checkout process, as there was a line of people waiting to checkout when we were trying to leave in the morning.

Relatively new hotel with well furnished and maintained rooms. Breakfast is just perfect and serves all diets. Walking distance to Vienna’s main train station and its less the €5 to get the airport. About 30 minutes walk from Vienna’s central area and about 10 minutes walk from a major shopping and dining area. Will definitely consider it next time I am in Vienna.

Excellent experience at the Andaz. The check in is very un complicated and quick. We even had the luck of having an early check in since a room was ready by the time we arrived. The rooms are very clean and well furnished. The light system is excellent between selecting options of all lights on or medium lighting. The bathroom products are amazing, we already plan on purchasing some To have at home. The breakfast was super complete, perhaps the best one I ever had at a hotel. Its changes slightly every and there is an option for every liking. The staff is also very friendly. The spa is also super, small but complete. The gym although we did not use it looked very complete. The restaurant and rooftop bar are also good. All in all super, we would stay there again for sure.

The most beautiful hotel in town, only 30 minutes from the airport. You will be amazed once you come inside it. The lobby full of paintings and arts. I love the small rhino on down the couch. The room is very very beautiful, full of paintings, arts, even on the door for the toilet. They give cute orange slippers also. The front office team is so friendly and helpful. Sarah, Veronica, Christopher and the rest are amazing person. You can get Manner wafer as room complimentary but not anymore now, it changed to vegetables crisps. Never regret to stay in this hotel, ever ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Andaz Vienna was my home for three consecutive nights. I used the App check in and check out, which worked smoothly. To get access to the assigned floor and room I used the moblie key, which also worked well with some minor problems concerning the mobile function in the elevator. I received a very nicely designed corner room on the ninth floor with a good view of Vienna! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very spacious and included a bathtub. I especially liked the herringbone parquet floor in the room. The breakfast buffet was well assorted and offered almost everything you need in the morning. I liked the freshly squeezed tasting orange juice, the scrambled eggs with truffle as well as one specific dish, which was sweet and hot, but I forgot the name. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to Vienna Central Station, local train and tram stations. I would choose this hotel again in the future!

My biggest issue with this hotel is the hostility and lack of friendliness of the staff!! To the limit that I received racist comments for my ethnic background being an Arab!! And that was from a front desk lady Other bad points include: 1- breakfast is really bad, and yes really expensive (30 Euro per person) 2- Daily parking fee is insane! 40 Euros per day I had a horrible experience checking in, even though I was checking in after mid night, and there was no pressure on the staff to be grumpy and negative!!! But I thought to myself that this will be it, and it will be smooth sailing from here, but it wasn’t All my encounters with the front desk staff and room service staff were negative Even the room cleaning staff did a really poor job cleaning the room and have continuously looked at us with hatred and disrespect throughout our stay

I never ever leave hotel reviews but this property -- and especially its amazing staff -- are well deserving of a true 5 star review. Excellent in almost every way. I've sort of reached the point where I'm tired of Airbnb (mysteries, lack of standards, etc.) but still want a homey stay. So, this is the Andaz Vienna - amazing staff, nice guests, super clean, comfy rooms in every sense of the word, wonderful but not off-putting design elements, particularly in the rooms. I never knew how inspiring herringbone floors could be! Great decision.. Property aside, what really made the stay very special was the reception staff working from 12 - 17 August. Rally, among the very best hospitality staff I've ever encountered around the globe. We loved this hotel so much we extended two extra nights. Thank you Andaz! By the way, excellent gym - whether compared against hotel standards or vs a normal city gym...had everything, super clean, spacious.

I had the pleasure of staying here for four memorable days, and it was an experience beyond expectations. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality enveloped us like a comforting embrace. Special thanks to Mr. Nestor your kindness and genuine care made our stay truly exceptional. Your welcoming smile and positive energy brightened our days.

Great service from check in to check out. Clean throughout with great amenities. Rooms are lovely. I stayed in a King room with neighbourhood view. Lots of accessories and beautifully presented. Large TV in all rooms with GoogleCast abilities. Meeting rooms were good sizes and well catered for. Roof top bar with spectacular views across the city. 24hr Gym with sauna and steam rooms (they close at 10). Would definitely recommend

Very nice 5-star hotel in Vienna. It is decorated with great amount of style inside regarding interior, bunch of pictures on the walls, sculptures in the waiting room. Stuff is very kind and give you all necessary information. The rooftop bar is great place for relaxing, especially for couples and group of friends. Music is very cool, atmosphere also, and view from a terrace is fantastic. This is 5-star hotel, so if you want to spend few hours on the rooftop bar, be prepare to pay very good for this pleasure 😉

We’ve been traveling for eight months and this was our favorite hotel stay so far. The room was gorgeous, the gym facilities were big and clean, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was top-notch. The building is super cool modern architecture. The free sparking water in glass bottles and espresso in the lobby were really nice touches. For the current prices, after Hyatt 3x points earning, this hotel is an unbeatable deal.

Beautiful hotel with a great location. The rooms are very modern and the floor to wall windows show an awesome view. Also the breakfast was delicious 👍

Overall the room setting is great, the service is below average. Pros 1. The location is prefect, taking 5 minutes walking from Vienna Hbf. 2. The room maintains well and new, good taste for the decoration. 3. Some small surprises for the Christmas. 4. Some staff at the reception are very helpful and nice ( a girl with glasses on) Cons 1. We encountered the emergency that fire alarms 🚨rang loudly. My friend and I ran quickly out of the building. ( I even worn my bathrobe) Finally it turned out nothing happened, and someone cooked for the alarm rang. We got the compensation for having one champagne. One staff in the reception was passive aggressive. My friend just tried to ask what happened for the fire alarm, and she reacted like my friend wanted to steal someone’s privacy😅 2. Choices for the breakfast is limited. I heard from others, we can actually order food instead of buffet. HOWEVER, no one tried to ask us is that we need to order anything at the first day. We are be IGNORED!!!

We celebrated our Christmas in this hotel. The room is spacious, stylish and clean. Even thought not all of the staff are friendly but helpful. The breakfast is delicious. Bathtub inside the room is very relaxing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Vienna.

Sharing first impressions as I didn't stay there myself but we were bringing friends there. The staff at the reception was super welcoming, professional and nice. So that part was nailed right on and they actually played a big role in our decision to stay there next time we're in Vienna. I joined my friends to their room to have a peek and the room was spacious and the design was fantastic. Also a great extra was the view but this was from the 13th floor. Something that I really found awesome was that there were special spots for your shoes so that even rested it stays nicely in shape. Also a plus is that it's super close to the train station. A train ticket is much cheaper than an uber or taxi (unless you are with a big group). Next time I'll add comments on the stay and hopefully another warm welcome by the reception staff.

The hotel is close to the main train station and other transport hubs, which was very convenient for us. Belvedere Palace is a short stroll away. The suites are spacious and comfortable and art lovers will enjoy the contemporary, art-inspired interiors . The service was good too. Excellent hotel. Stayed there for a conference. Conference halls and meals were very good. Very professional staff and high quality amenities. Free buffet breakfast available with diverse food options. Incidentally I was staying on my birthday and the staff dropped me a card and cake to wish me which was very touching.

For us, the hotel location was ideal. Took the subway from the airport straightaway to Vienna Central T. From there, a short 4 blocks or so to the hotel. From the hotel, the tram is 2/3 blocks away that takes you directly into city center. The room is clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the wet & dry sauna after a long day of walking. Gym is also very nice. Water, coffee & wafer refilled every day was 👍.

This hotel is waaaay beyond my expectation. I usually stay at Hiltons or Marriotts because of high tier membership benefits and this was one rare stay at a Hyatt hotel. As a discoverist member, the front desk lady carefully chose a preferred room to upgrade us. The hotel is very modern and full of cute designs. Everyone in the hotel was so friendly and helpful. We literally felt at home in this hotel. The gym and wellness were awesome. We went there every day during our stay. Loved it so much. We were concerned that this hotel is a bit far from city center but it’s not! Walks distance to city center if you’re exploring the city like us. Right next to the train station. Anyway I would stay again again and again and would recommend to everyone who’s visiting Wien. 🥰

Experience in Vienna to get good large rooms, hospitality and tourism. Located right behind the metro station. City center is just 15 min walk and palace in 5 minutes. Excellent rooftop terrace restaurant "AURORA". Nice garden restaurant in 3 minutes walk. If you need any assistance staff is always ready to co-operate. Special thanks to Elena for making the stay memorable.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with excellent service, rooms and amenities. Worth staying at, even if not in the center of the touristic part of the city. The city center is an easy tram ride away.

I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. Staff: always pleasant and will go out of their way to greet you and make you feel welcome. The front desk staff are always stellar and ready to help. Facilities: great gym with high end equipment. Spa: not huge but good enough for some relaxing. Modern art deco design. All rooms are up to date and spacious. Floor to ceiling windows throughout. Amazing rooftop bar. Might be the best in Vienna. Breakfast: good buffet but also offers made to order dishes. Location: please keep in mind this is not located in the city center. That being said, it is right next to the main rail station allowing easy access to the city and surrounding areas.

  • 5/5 Gaurav S. 2 years ago on Google
Loved the hotel. Modern rooms, amazing marble bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, great rooftop cocktail bar, and elevators that tell you which platform your train will be on. The gym, sauna and steam room are brand new and great too. It's a 5 minute walk from the main train station so you can get anywhere in the region really quickly.

  • 5/5 Alex L. 1 year ago on Google
New hotel but at the high level you expect of Andaz by Hyatt. Very convenient for the Hauptbahnhof (main train station) but not for the centre of town. Travel to the centre is easy via tram or taxi but is a km or two to walk. Rooms are generous in size and nicely kitted out. Big TVs if that is important to you. Bathroom and separate WC which is often desirable if sharing! Didn't eat at the hotel but the rooftop bar is very cool - if there is space outside - and gym/fitness centre is decent. If you are visiting Vienna for the historic centre, museums etc there are better, but often more expensive or lower quality, options.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for my birthday. It was very nice, clean, and the staff was very friendly. The staff was very friendly. A first-class hotel indeed. The view from the room was nice and the room was well cleaned. We arrived too late to order room service, but would use it next time.

We stayed here for one night during a birthday celebration and the front desk took care of us for the occasion with a large room upgrade, a dessert and a bottle of champagne on ice when we arrived. Breakfast spread was large and very good. Very convenient location to Central station but I'd prefer to stay closer to town if it were more than a quick overnight stay.

Fantastic experience in every respect. Almost brand new hotel with plenty of modern features, yet an entrance lobby which also manages to feel welcoming and almost homely. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff, beautiful bedrooms, excellent gym (for a hotel) and delicious buffet breakfast with lots of choice - everything was of the highest standard. The location is very convenient for the main train station and the Belvedere Palace. A journey into the centre of the city takes 20-30 minutes by foot or 10 minutes on the tram. Very highly recommended and hope to return on my next visit to Vienna.

I stayed recently there for 6 nights booked a family room. Upon arrival, I was greeted and welcomed. Check in and check out was super fast and easy. The hotel located in a quiet and safe area even though the train station is not that far from it. I think it’s very convenient. I loved the artistic ambience, the complimentary coffee machine and water in the lobby! The room was spacious and well decorated. The only disappointment is that some parts of the furniture was severly scratched and parts of the bathroom especially under the sink needs a good a cleaning! Reaching the center is not an issue at all as there are many options and you’ll be there in less than 20 mins. The staff were friendly and helpful which made my stay enjoyable. I’d stay at Andaz again for sure.

The hotel is divided into two buildings with a connecting bridge. Service at a good level, varied and tasty breakfast, very nice room with a comfortable bed. View of train tracks but there is an option to enjoy the view from the bar on the 16th floor.

the overall stay was really disappointing. Arrival: as we arrived, there were many guests lined up to checkin, nobody at the door to offering help for luggage. we don't feel welcomed at all. Turndown service: after checked in we went out, and asked for turn down service. the reception staff told us there are no such kind service in this hotel. my husband asked is this a five star hotel or not, she said yes. Rooftop bar then later we wanted to book a table at the rooftop bar for a drink, we been told they don't accept same day booking even as their own hotel guests. Breakfast Breakfast was a completely chaos, too small dinning space for such a big hotel.too many guests walking around you while you eating, coffee or tea have to called two times to be served. and eventually i got the wrong type of tee as i have ordered. i would not come back again when travel to Wien.
