I
have
a
service
dog.
I
rarely
mention
it
or
cover
him
in
decals
because
I
dislike
the
attention.
That
being
said,
I
travel
everywhere
with
my
dog
and
my
reviews
typically
reflect
my
delight
with
how
businesses
accommodate
us.
Max
Brown
will
not
be
receiving
such
delight.
If
you
are
expecting
a
3
star
Ibis,
your
expectations
will
be
met,
but
Max
Brown
is
not
a
four
star
hotel;
not
by
a
long
shot.
It’s
not
a
bad
hotel,
just
not
as
described.
Pros:
heated
floors
in
bathroom.
Great
pillows.
Good
cleaning
staff.
Heat
works.
Nice
sized
room.
No
outdoor
noise….when
they
put
you
in
the
annex,
which
they
did
with
us,
presumably
because
I
had
a
service
dog.
Con:
No
mini
bar,
no
room
service,
no
coffee
in
the
room,
no
vanity
set,
no
robes,
no
guide
to
the
hotel
or
area,
half
mile
walk
(including
stretch
outside)
to
room
from
the
lobby
if
you’ve
been
relegated
to
the
annex,
and
for
the
entirety
of
our
stay
there
was,
presumably,
a
Flamenco
dance
troupe
above
our
room
practicing
their
routines
24/7.
Then
there’s
the
restaurant…which
is
necessary
for
the
four
star
rating.
The
restaurant
apparently
is
independent
from
the
hotel.
They
simply
share
lobby
space.
After
8
days
in
Vienna,
this
restaurant
was
the
only
restaurant
in
the
entire
city
that
we
found
that
didn’t
allow
dogs.
I
would
have
insisted,
considering
my
dog’s
profession,
however
the
staff
-
at
both
the
hotel
and
the
restaurant
-
were
so
aggressively
opposed
to
the
suggestion,
we
happily
dined
elsewhere
for
every
meal.
