Pension Excellence is located near the University area of Vienna, it is easily accessible via subway and walking 5 minutes. The building is a classical city centre one but it doesn't feel old, it has been renovated and looks great. We had some trouble with the room assignment since we were there for a conference and were sharing rooms among colleagues, but the hotel assigned us rooms with double beds and not individual separated ones, so we had to look around empty rooms with these characteristics. Our host did everything in his power to accommodate us and help us have a pleasant stay. The rooms are quite nice, with comfortable beds and clean linen. The bathroom is pretty simple but clean and with freshly washed towels. Our rates included a breakfast which is quite simple but perfect to start the morning. Our host helped us with recommendations for cheap restaurants and bars near the hotel and with public transportation information. Overall, the hotel is very simple, but cosy.

The place is 1 star tops. It's very (very) dated and the cleanliness was far from optimal. Fridge and bathroom weren't in good conditions and the towels were from the Victorian era. Electrical sockets not functional, the wifi sucked!! And not sustainable at all. The location is good though.

Based on our experiences, It was a good and clean hotel pension with acceptable services. The most important thing for this hotel, was the location. It is located in the center zone of Vienna with a wide variety of accessibility to the public transports and the city monuments. In our reservation we had breakfast included.which I really recommend it. Their breakfast table had an acceptable variety and fresh materials. The hotel has a free wifi in its all area. If you are looking for a hotel with reasonable prices and good access to the city, I recommend you to keep this hotel name in your mind for the reservation time.

I recently stayed there for three nights. I know it's a budget hotel but, to be honest, I was expecting more. The breakfast was bad and careless. The internet was very slow and kept cut off all the time. The shower was partly broken. Also, the walls were so thin that you can even hear the snoring of your neighbor. İn additon, the staff wasn't too kind to make up all these negatives. There was one instance that sums all the sloppiness. The room has a kettle but that was all. There was literally nothing apart from that. Neither glasses/cups, nor any hot drink options... We bought our own tea but the staff didn't provide any paper or plastic cups. The positives of the room is that it was reasonably clean and the bed was comfortable. All in all, I do not recommend here for more than a night.

Great hotel that is rated 4 stars. The roo.s are comfortable and of good size especially for a single. They have a small fridge in each room which is great if you want cold drinks you buy in. The service is wonderful and the breakfast is good value as well. Staff helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel especially as it is nicely located to city centre. The Tram 43 and 44 stop almost outside and take you to the main area to get linked buses, trams and underground.

Excellent location with easy access to anything you might want to see in the city thanks to the team stop just outside the front door. Beyond that, you get the bare minimum. Beds were fine, linens too, cleanliness was basic. Interior in need of significant updating, there was a singular outlet for the entire room. Wifi was worthless, 25Kbps maximum, but it also frequently dropped so doing anything beyond using Maps on occasion was impossible. The shower was awkwardly small and could not use even the full space because of a gap in the door that would shoot water out onto the bathroom floor.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! The staff at Pension Excellence were absolutely fantastic. From the moment of arrival until our departure, every single one of them were so friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect. The rooms were large, comfortable and modern and both the room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean. Cannot fault this hotel or its staff.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Furniture and bathrooms rather old. Mean reception lady. But the room was clean.

This tiny little boutique hotel has amazing access to city center is conveniently located close to all transportations. The buffet breakfast was great however we waited for plates for a long time. The interior was renovated. Washroom was a little neglected otherwise great

This is gonna be a mixed review. The hotel is not in the center but close enough. The internet connection is flaky. Breakfast is not included and is 9€ per night per guest. Rooms are fine, with air-conditioning/heating and no problems. I'd like more lighting but it's fine. Again, nothing great, nothing too bad.
