The shower had to have been the best I've seen in my life. The spray just felt so good. The room had rounded edges with varying wallpapers, creating a nice aesthetic that the rest of the hotel matched. They have a complimentary luggage storage. The breakfast is also pleasant, as the breakfast team will bring you items like bacon and eggs. Overall a really nice stay.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Location is excellent next to underground metro, tram and city tour cruise station... located in the heart of city and still at a place where u can breathe free... breakfast choices are limited especially for those who can’t take non veg. Evening from 3 to 6 pm they serve free tea/coffee with some cakes and biscuits. Which I understand is their substitute for not having any tea/coffee maker in room. Room sizes is adequate not very big. Only thing I didn’t like is that there are big king size beds instead there are two single beds kept to gather with separate small quilt. The room I chose had big balcony looking directly to street and river just sit and watch the hustle of city

This hotel is located across the Danube canal. We reserved a room with a balcony. We were disappointed when we realized the balcony faced the parking lot. The rooms were clean and they offered shower caps and conditioner. The breakfast was very good (they make eggs, the way you prefer and offer bacon). They also have cake/tea time included. However, I was disappointed when the front desk (a man) asked to view my hotel card and asked for my room number (on our second day there). He did not ask anyone else. I am Latina and felt very uncomfortable staying there after that. Additionally, there were very uncomfortable stares at me, during breakfast.

I had a reservation with this hotel which I was forced to cancel less than 24 hours prior to arrival. They showed incredible kindness and sensibility in agreeing to waive any charges, so even though I never had the chance of staying there, I will give them a 5 star rating based on their kindness and will definitely make a reservation here the next time I visit Vienna

Not sure how this hotel is rated as a 4 star hotel. Rooms were super tight with no room to store luggage. We had to move furniture around to get our suitcase to fit and tripped over them the entire time. There were not any accommodations such as bottled water, lotion, or a coffee maker in the room. When we asked for bottled water, we were told to drink tap water. The hotel staff working at the front desk were not friendly. They didn’t even greet us as we walked out or in; they just stared at their computer. Beds we’re comfortable and location offered easy access to old town. However, you’re on a Main Street so lots of traffic and emergency vehicles passing all day/night. Very dissatisfied with my stay at this hotel. They definitely do not live up to a 4 star rating.

Rooms are clean, the staff is super friendy, breakfast is wonderful and very diverse, and the location is great..

I stayed here with my husband and some friends and we were very pleased with this accomodation. The hotel has a perfect position: tram stop and metro station really close, good restaurants nearby and at walking distance from the most interesting monuments in Vienna. The room was new and clean, the staff friendly. Breakfast was good with both fruits and vegetables. There was also coffee or tea offered between 3 and 6 pm. good value, we'll come back.

A perfect stay, rooms comfortable, we had a balcony, with views. All staff from reception, waitresses and room cleaners were, always polite, happy and professional. Would stay here again. Close to metro and a short walk to centre and attractions.

Perfect location close to trams and the metro. Staff was great. We arrived 2 hours before the earliest check in and they quickly cleaned a room for us. Very attentive breakfast staff with eggs cooked to order.

Very good location, excellent super friendly and helpful staff, including everyone, receptionist, cleaning lady, waitress..etc Very clean, with balcony, where you can smoke if you want.. balconies on one side are noisy, but really cool, looking to the river, and noise is not a problem at all in the room, because of the great sound proofing. Balconies on the other side are silent and looking to an other building. Breakfast is good, several things to choose from, you can order nice eggs dishes. You can book parking place and they park your car after check in. There is no bathrobe in the room, but you can ask for it at the reception and they will put it in your room. From the hotel all the sights in Vienna are easy to reach either on foot or with public transport. My only suggestion is to bring phone chargers, not only cables because no USB plugs in the room. I highly recommend to everyone 🤗

What a great hotel! Location is great and the service was amazing. They have great breakfast and later they have coffee/tea and cake between 3 and 6 pm. You are welcome to use the dining area until 11 pm and they always have newspaper and games for you to use. Did I mention the service was amazing? Both by the front desk and the breakfast staff! Fantastic location as about 30 seconds from the U-Bahn station. Comfortable, quiet room with bath/shower. Wardrobe with safe. Coffee machine. Asked for a kettle to make tea and was given a tray with kettle, tea, coffee and sugar sachets. Hotel lovely and clean and rooms serviced every day. Breakfasts good with a small choice of cooked items available, cooked when ordered. Stayed last year in one their sister hotels on the other side of the river. Would recommend the hotel. Staff were really friendly and welcoming.

Great location right on the underground and tram system, even across the road from the boat to Bratislava. The hotel is within easy walking distance of all the main attractions which means more time to enjoy your sightseeing! The rooms are bright and modern with very attentive servicing every day. Reception staff are very helpful and friendly as are the ever busy breakfast team for whom it appears nothing was too much trouble. Good hearty breakfast included which set us up for the day. I would definitely return here on my return to Vienna and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Tip. If you prefer the quiet ask for a room on the back as there is a little noise from sirens and traffic on the front but nothing to ruin my enjoyment of the hotel :)

Nice hotel very close to StStephan platz. Indian restaurant Nirvana is nearby. Also Capricirno has swings caffe bar which has lot of options for Vegans. Nice place to stay.

Great hotel, clean, modern and in a great area, walking distance to the center and full of different restaurants and coffee shops. Great breakfast as well and great service by all at the breakfast tables. Ps I have stayed in the last 15 years in perhaps 300 hotels around the world. Claudia at the reception desk of this hotel, is by far the friendliest, most helpful, most patient and just all around most amazing of all the reception people I have ever dealt with. If the owner is reading this, give her a raise!!!!

Good and solid hotel in very comfortable location - near metro, city cruise, city center. The breakfast is good and the stuff is very friendly. The room is small but clean and comfortable. There is no coffee machine and iron in the room. there is coffee machine in the lobby (with money)

This is my second stay within the same trip because I am so impressed with this quirky boutique hotel. The staff are simply lovely, the front desk, housekeeping, and amazingly cheery breakfast wait staff make staying here so enjoyable. The room itself checks all the boxes. Great curtains to block light, comfy bed and crisp linens. There is even a magnificent mirror in the bathroom. Mini bar stocked daily and a balcony with an ashtray if you’re a smoker. Walkable to all the great tourist sites and taxis outside if you’re feeling lazy. This will be my go-to hotel on future stays. I’ve been in Europe 80+ days and this is my favorite stay by far.

We first visited Hotel Capricorno in 2019. It was excellent in every way and we booked to return the following Summer , 2020. Unfortunately the pandemic made this impossible. The hotel honoured our booking until we were able to return some 3 years later. We found standards just as before. A wonderful hotel in terms of location -Schwedenplatz is a gateway for all transport. The hotel is staffed by the most friendly and efficient staff. I can't compliment enough. Breakfast is plentiful and to suit all tastes and it is a real bonus to have this included in the price. We thank you for a fantastic stay in a charming room with balcony. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hotel Capricorno to others.

There's nothing fancy about this hotel but that to one side its amazing, the staff are so friendly so helpful and so obviously efficient, tea and cake in the afternoon and breakfast in the morning was amazing and plentyful as it was a buffet. The hotel is situated about 6 minutes walk to the centre of all that's happening, this hotel was recommended to us and we were not disappointed, so top marks to this hotel for all of the above reasons. 10 out of 10.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms spotlessly clean. Lovely touches I.e. sweets in room, New year chocolates left in room, husband's birthday marked by a small cake and sparkling wine and free cakes and coffee available in afternoon.

The hotel's location is very good, near to the U-bahn station Schwedenplatz. You can take the CAT train from airport to Wien Mitte, and an U-bahn green line to the hotel (only one stop). I recommend to buy return CAT ticket + free transportation ticket in accordance to how long you stay. The hotel itself is small and cozzy, makes you feel at home, the staff is very welcoming and kind! The room we booked was spacious, clean and warm with a balcony (although it is unnecessary in winter times) and a bath. Take in mind that if it's hard for you to climb the bath wall, ask for a room with a regular shower. The breakfast wasn't rich in variety but was in a high quality and tasty! Please not that if you are a vegan, I recommend to book a room without a breakfast and eat in the vegan restaurants next to the hotel main entrance (the food is delicious and fairly priced). In short, we enjoy our stay at the hotel!

Very pleasant! Friendly staff, treating you almost like family. Well located just by a major public transport hub. A little street noise from the outside if your room faces the channel, but not enough to be an issue. Air conditioning is quiet and effective.

Loved my little room with a partial view, though if I went back I’d try to get a room with a balcony. Location is excellent, as is the breakfast. Eggs and bacon and hot tea every morning on top of their other buffet options. Close to all public transit, including hop on hop off, ubahn, and the trams. Great food options just outside the door, or just underneath. Would stay here again!
