The location is next to the main train station which is perfect if you are traveling by rail. The train also goes to the airport which is great…. if the snow doesn’t cancel the train. The rooms are a comfortable size but the space between the bed and TV is too tight. The stairs are clean but do not exit at the lobby. You must go down a floor and back up the exposed staircase.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! The only thing good about the hotel was the fact that its super close to the main train station.I stayed at this hotel for a week and they haven't cleaned my room for four days even though i didn't leave a "do not disturb" sign at my door. But when I had put the sign at my door because i left my suitcase open they didn't care and entered my room anyway. When I first entered I had taken out my coins so I wouldn't confuse them with the cents in my wallet. The employee there stole my 2,5 TL which doesn't even add up for 1 cent.Other than that there isn't a phone, a fridge, slippers, a cupboard at the room. There also wasn't a lock on the door which made me feel very unsafe during my stay knowing the staff doesn't care about do not disturb signs and can barge in at any time.Furthermore the light was faulty. It would flicker randomly.Lastly during my stay I was woken up by hammering sounds around 8 am which was very disturbing.

Very nice hotel but not perfect. Cleanness of the room could be a bit better, and also the room was too warm for sleep and the temperature thermostat thingy did nothing. Also the lounge is nice but also here it's not perfect, service is pretty slow. Which is sad cause all other service was amazing. And then their is the breakfast with worlds smallest glass of orange juice, it's in need of a overhaul if you ask me in the way it's set up. It's pretty confusing how stuff is placed which makes it chaotic and a tray to put your plate and glass on would be nice too. With this maybe not being a perfect hotel I think it's one of the best around the train station.

Poor customer service! I want to complain about my stay at the hotel. Your colleague came to my hotel room and in the rude manner told me, that my hotel room is not paid, due to the problems in the hotel system, and I have to go down and pay immediately, I responded that it is strange, and I need to call my manager to solve the problem, she insisted that I need to go down immediately and that is not her problem, she cannot wait. She insisted and talked rudely and inappropriately, that is unacceptable. When I checked that transaction went through, I went down to registration desk, to solve the problem and your colleague told me, that this was just miscommunication and didn’t even apologised for rudeness. I do not want that this situation happen to me, nor my relatives again, I would not prefer or recommend your hotel, knowing that your customer service is on the lowest level ever.

Important to note, this is not in the city centre. It’s next to the Vienna’s main train station. Take U1 Red Line 3 stops to Stephenplatz - 2.60 Euro. It’s a 10-15 ride on the U1 Red Line underground. The train station has food / drink / ATM / shopping services. The hotel is simple in design and decor. Check-in was fast. The rooms are basic, clean and small (8x10ft / 2.4mx3m) There are no in-room amenities; no fridge or coffee / tea. The bed was comfortable. The room was very quiet despite facing the train station platform. The continental breakfast is an extra charge. All basic cold items. Enough to start your day. Friendly breakfast staff.

Terrible staff at reception. The guy as he say his name is “bobby” i believe he has to clean streets may be its better then to work with clients. There is not 24 hours internet in the rooms for some reason, at the night. There is even not water for drinking in the room, the toilet its broken and everything in bathroom getin wet after using toilet for some reason. Definitely not gona stay in that hotel never again. Definitely not gonna recommend to my friends and clients. Im working in hotel supplier and this will be the last hotel in Vienna im gona sell. Great job guys i believe u first has to educate your staff

We were booked into M1 Vienna Central Station due to our flight being cancelled. In the room, I found a toilet which was still stained, and the bar personnel acted incredibly rude towards us for having (not eating) take-out food on the table. I travel frequently and have stayed in Motel One in other cities a few times before, and they generally offer a decent bed for a decent price. However, I have found the experience in Vienna to be well below what can be expected of a hotel at this price level.

I am sitting on the floor of the corridor some distance from my room in the hotel to get an internet connection! No connection since this morning and i am here for work. I spoke to the manager this morning and now to the two male staff at reception who are exceptionally rude. My check in this morning was lengthy and confused. I would not recommend this hotel and the people who work here at all. Update a few days after checking out: the internet was finally sorted 3-4 days after my arrival. In addition, my host paid for breakfasts. Twice staff insisted that breakfast was not arranged. Only on the last day did they finally check the system properly and indeed breakfast had been paid for! I therefore bought my own breakfast outside of the hotel for 5 days and was only reimbursed the one breakfast I had paid for. This place was a disaster at every level. Stay away!

One of the very best hotels in its class I have ever stayed at. No unnecessary frills, no oversized rooms but definitely not cramped, a breath-taking view over Vienna, a brilliant bar and staff are kind and helpful. Across the road from the Central Station, within walking distance of all public transport and restaurants. A most enjoyable stay.

I just had the WORST experience of any hotel stay I never had in my life. My wife just came out of the bath and another couple (guests) managed to have cards to my room. They just checked in, and were given the same room I was staying in. I am never going to stay here again. I tried to reason out with the duty crew on what and how did this happened, but none were able to give an proper explanation. If the management wants to look into what happened, check with the duty crew working on 26 Dec night shift (11pm)

Great service, clean and comfortable room, tasty breakfast -- and right next to the central station (Wien HBF). The staff in particular were so helpful, going above and beyond. The group I was with also enjoyed the atmosphere of the bar. I'll definitely be coming back.

Welcomed by cigarette buds and leaves on the hall floor, I get it was very windy but still. Service very neutral, not a single smile received at any point. You come, pay, sleep and go I guess. Breakfast was good as usual in Austria, mainly because of the bread. A variety of spreads, all marked as organic or bio. One breakfast is free if you book direct and register, otherwise I would eat at one of the great cafes / bakeries at the station.

This hotel is minutes from Vienna Central station and I stayed there on a recent vacation. Professional service from the the minute you walk in and it was super clean and fresh and as I checked in online they had everything ready for me. Only problem is I felt was there wasn't enough staff for people waiting to check in so it took sometime. The room was spacious overlooking the station and was high up giving me some great views of Vienna, bathroom was perfectly functional for what it was and the WiFi was spot on. I did opt into breakfast (again staff were unsure whether I had) which was strange but I feel the layout of the breakfast area could of been handled better because as it got busier the area just became a mess of people. This Motel did a survey and even fed back to me on the experience which I was amazed by so this company is another one where the customer comes first.

Rooms are small, but that is all you really need. Everything is clean and nice. You don't hear the noise from the street. The location is fantastic, right next to the main trainstation and every important transport modes. The only minus is the breakfast room which is small considering the amount of rooms so if you are unlucky to go to breakfast when all others go, you will get nervous really quick..just go earlier and you'll be fine

Stayed there over Christmas and loved a location of the Motel One, taking a train right from airport 3 minutes and you are already at your place. When it comes to the staff, we had a good experience, as everyone was helpful and friendly, the check in was planned at 15:00, but we arrived at 12:00 and stuff already checked us in without a wait. Glad that Motel offers a breakfast option with a buffet, definitely a good idea, when most of things are closed on holidays. Rooms were clean and nice, loved the touch with a TV and a fireplace picture with a sound of a cracking wood. Just maybe one thing is that our towels were clean, but weren’t smelling fresh. When it comes to WiFi, there weren’t any problem with a speed and perfectly worked up to 13th floor. Overall, definitely would recommend to stay here and as for a level of a Motel, is a great one:)

A comfortable hotel in the city center... Very close to the main train station. Great view from the 16th floor - staff was friendly and efficient. Rooms clean and great for a short stay... Garage costs 17 Euro for 24 hrs... Cool! We would stay there again!

It is a nice place to stay. I like the design of the rooms and the friendly staff. It could be a bit tricky though to get a room at times at a reasonable price.

Well located for the main rail station with both the city and airport a short train or underground ride away. Great place to stay, whatever their job, the staff are fantastic, very helpful and really friendly. Buffet breakfast is high quality. Top place to stay.

I have choose this hotel because of its location but other than it being close to the station, it was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed. I have stayed there for 4 nights but it wasn't a great experience. The service at the reception was horrible. I think she was a manager or something as she was wearing a different shirt to everyone else (it was floral shirt) but her service was horrible. When I went up to the reception to check in, she told me to wait without any explanation. She didn't even looked at me when she said that and just focusing on what she was doing. I WAS CLEARLY BEING IGNORED. So I had to stood there awkwardly for half an hour. I do understand that she might had other works to do but she should at least explain that to me and ask me to wait in more polite manner. The room had a nice view but the cleaning was not so great. I could see some dusts on the shelf and the floor in the shower was clearly not been cleaned properly. I could see the stains on the floor, but as I could easily clean that, it clearly shows that they have not done cleaning properly. Also one of the cleaner have just entered my room without my permission. I know they regularly clean the rooms when customers are out but she didn't even check if I have left or not. She opened the door right after a knock so I didnt get a chance to answer. I have never give her a permission to open the door and enter my room. What if I was getting change? What if I was having a shower? Finally, it is impossible to get the right temperature while having a shower. the water temperature keeps changing. I almost burnt myself in the shower because the temperature suddenly gets hot.

Standard rooms with comfortable beds, good location, nice hotel bar, we got really lucky with our room service tho since they didnt manage to clean before 6pm and were rude about it (the cleaning personnel) and then woke us up at 9am the next morning despite having a sign on the door saying we don't want to be disturbed

Rooms are of decent size and well maintained. Location is perfect as it just infront of the railway station entrance. The hotel staff provided packed breakfast as we needed to leave early.

Worst hotel experience I've ever had. The brand motel one is not just over rated. It is too minimal. The rooms are tiny. They're barely 15m2. The bed is uncomfortable. No room service, no phone in the room. Breakfast is very poor. I've had better food at hostels with more variety. The motel one concept doesn't work for me

Worst hotel ever! My room was assigned to another guest who just checked in and the hotel staff showed no remorse when verified with them. Such mistake is unacceptable for a hotel and how could the guest feel safe with such poor security. I would advise everyone to think twice before booking it.

Nice a comfortable hotel in very good position near to train station in the center of Vienna. Clean and comfortable rooms, fast check in, good breakfast. Quiet despite the position.

Directly located at the main train station of Vienna as well as the subway it is perfectly placed to get around quickly. The rooms are small but modern and clean. The check-in was flawless. The breakfast was "okay" at best - way too expensive for what you get. In general the hotel is good, but definitely overpriced.

  • 5/5 Sofija S. 2 years ago on Google
I genuinely think that this is one the best, most modern furnished hotels I have ever been to. Everything is super clean and smells fresh. The food and staff is on point. Also the Bio program is great addition. I am really enjoying my time here. Thank you!

Very modern hotel in a super convenient location, especially when traveling by train and stopping in Vienna for just a night or two. Train station is literally right below the hotel, connection to the airport is just 15 minutes by train. Nevertheless, the rooms are absolutely quiet. The bar has an awesome selection of local and international gins, and their staff is very friendly.

I've always enjoyed staying here. Stayed probably 10+ times. Last time on the 18th November, the internet was extremely unstable in the room and downstairs and the team at the reception and the bar unfriendly and not helpful. Super disappointed. When I asked why the internet doesn't work the staff at the bar, told me it works on my phone and went away. A bit ridiculous no?

Very good for the price with modern rooms and design everywhere. Handy to have all of the transport options so close by. The hotel bar is lively and well stocked yet you hear no noise in the rooms. Breakfast was not the best though and a bit chaotic.

For this Brilliant location ,right next to tube station. Hotel very welcoming, lovely lounge bar area (24 hour bar!) rooms very comfortable, missed having a kettle but you can enjoy a cuppa in the bar area. Not greta menu, continental breakfast was yummy and good value. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Highly reccomend this hotel and will be returning.

Not fully satisfied. Room is okay, clean and practical, position absolutely perfect, but the wifi did not work at all, and the room on the 1st floor are kind of nosey. Check in takes also far too long, there is only one person at the reception.

Excellent hotel, especially if you have train. Airport bus is opposite of the hotel, you can go to early flight fast and cheap. Great lobby and bar

The location is perfect. The reception changed our room after we asked to move due to the cigarette smoke outside on the first floor. We sleep with the window open because the climate control system wasn't working. We were moved to the 13th floor and got a bigger bed as well, king size instead of queen size bed. The breakfast is alright, when you are there at 8:00 it's already quite busy. Regarding selection is good though for a motel.

  • 5/5 Laz K. 1 year ago on Google
Motel One is always a safe bet. Can't beat the price for what you get. Decor, rooms, all the same across Europe. It's a very busy place. Book in advance because you might find it fully booked often. I got a room on the 8th floor. There are 17 floors in total. Ask for a higher level to get a view of downtown Vienna on a clear day. The easiest way to book a triple room is to go ahead and make the reservation for 2 people, and just before you arrive, email them that you need an extra bed made up.

Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a hotel. This website will compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This place is one of the most well known in the area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you definitely won't regret it. Excellent hotel, especially if you have train. Airport bus is opposite of the hotel, you can go to early flight fast and cheap. Great lobby and bar

Great for staying near the train station. Wifi was bad, but the room was nice, clean and comfy. The shower was great. Just what I needed after a long day of travel. I recommend for a night before an early train or for a late arrival.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The thermostat doesn't work and the rooms aren't clean at all.I stayed for 10 days and they cleaned my room only twice not changing the towels(I had accidentally stained one of the towels with lipstick that's why i knew they didn't change them) or bedsheets. They didn't even bother to make the bed, arrange the pillows etc.
