As I live in Vienna, I have never stayed at the hotel, but I have been in their restaurant several times for drinks. In summer, there is a really nice inner garden/hof which is like a small oasis in the 7th district. However, I was recently in December inside, and I really enjoyed the interior of the restaurant. It has a 50s-60s chic to it, and I'm here for those vibes.

Had a really lovely stay, staff are super friendly, it’s in the heart of the hipster cool part of town and the furniture is a reflection of the hotel’s attention to detail. Genuine Pinoy food too, something rarely found, but a reflection of the kind, humorous and humble Filipino SEA hospitality style.

TLTR: Quite authentic food. Portions may look small, but it will be enough. Waiters really friendly. You forget a bit that you are in the city, with the flower balconies in the courtyard. If you like to try something new and give the Philippine kitchen a try, this might be worth your time. Long Version: The visit of this restaurant was the wedding anniversary present to my wife. Since we love authentic food, I tried to find a place with authentic cuisine and this place popped up. First impression was a bit mixed, you are in the middle of the city and don't expect a hotel at this location, at least we didn't. After entering the hotel, we waited for about 10min, since there was a display telling us 'Due to Covid-19, please wait here for the waitress'. Unfortunately nobody was coming, we started to worry about our reservation and behind us a queue started to build. Therefore, I just walked to the bar, asked them about our reservation and then everything was fine. We had the "Yo Mama Juice" and homemade ice tea to drink. My wife started with the sardines, and I am with the chicken popcorn. The sardines were good, the chicken popcorn was a bit under seasoned, but the sauce corrected this. As main dish we had the burger and the bistek. Everything was fine, but a bit more in a second. From our point of view, the starters were a bit much and the main dish looked kind of small but was more than enough. The taste is original which also means that the bun of the burger is bis sweet, which I personally kind of like, but for my wife it wasn't the tip of the iceberg in taste. We really looked forward to having some dessert, but we both were so stuffed, that we couldn't even share one. Overall, they are authentic, good cuisine, worth the time we have spent there, and we will definitely come back. On the con-side, they should play a bit around with the starter size and maybe give the customers a bit of explanation upfront, especially when people don't know the cuisine, it might help them to decide what to choose.

We had a lovely evening here with really outstanding food! Highly reccomend. Would be cool if the quality of the drinks was matching the food though. Don't get me wrong, they were good, but would be cool if they had some nice cocktails of the quality you get at a place like "the sign" to choose from.

Stayed two nights in May for a business trip. Was highly disappointed. The rooms are not only badly insulated, but they also look into a courtyard and every single noise is heard. I’m a pretty heavy sleeper yet in that hotel I was continuously woken up: drunk guests going back to their rooms late at night and (literally) screaming in the corridors and in their rooms. Windows we’re open because of the heat, it woke me up. Nobody said anything. The cooks or waiters leave the restaurant at midnight or arrive early morning, they speak loudly in the courtyard, forget it if you had planned to sleep in a bit (it started around 7am). Staff is overall nice (especially the young lad from West Africa at breakfast) and location is great, sure, but sleep is more important. So wouldn’t recommend this place unless you plan to be out all night and you can sleep in despite noise. I spent two other nights in another hotel, Zeitgeist, and it was day and night. I couldn’t hear anything. It was much cheaper, a much bigger and more confortable room and I could sleep.

(I have agonised over this review because from what I understand this is a family business led by a wonderfully entrepreneurial young person coming up in the world).* After 3 visits to the bistro/restaurant, I feel comfortable giving this review, which, under the circumstances is very fair. The courtyard is a real boon for this place, especially on warmer days. The shabbiness of the furnishings seem to reflect the general character of the immediate neighborhood. I get the excitement. The food. Though much hyped about, is absolutely no match for true, good, and authentic Filipino cooking. Perhaps this was a very distinct ‘transported/migrated’ version? The version of the ‘bistek’ was interesting to say the least , so were the buns/siopao, and the rest of the fare left us scratching our heads as to what, having grown up with excellent Filipino cooks, what exactly we had been feasting on all of that time. The vegan option is commendable only in that it is available. The service and general hygiene. We were served on 2/3 occasions by an attractive and tallish young woman with blondish(?)/dirty light brown hair(?) with little regard for time, and, more worryingly, hygiene. I don’t think hand-washing, to say nothing of combing and attending to her laundry, was high on the agenda. We were all young once so we understand. Unfortunately, if you are in the service industry, these things do make an impression and need some particular attention.

We enjoyed our stay in Vienna especially due to the location and services of this place. Our room was clean and tidy and the sheets were also very clean. Even though we stayed for just two nights they changed the towels and I was pleasantly surprised by this. The breakfast was delicious and the price of the parking was decent, especially when compared to the other places.

Hello, I went for lunch in this restaurant the food was great.the atmosphere is cozy but at the same time elegant. The service is attentive but not too formal; the waiter was kind and answered at our questions. I suggest this restaurant for small group or couples. I’ll gladly come back next time I’m in town. Ps. The food is amazing, I suggest to leave a small space for the dessert ( they are not too sweet, but they have a lot of flavour)

Room as shown on booking.com. I really liked the furniture there, very cozy atmosphere. Nice and understanding people. The bathroom needs to be renovated as it was a bit uncomfortable.

Located less than 10 minutes from the metro station and shops including Spar, TKmaxx and McDonald's, clean room, toilet a bit tiny but it's bearable, gorgeous decoration of the general public space including reception and restaurant that serves tasty breakfast. Parking available to rent.

Super stylish hotel in a quiet neighbourhood very close to the main shopping area, subway and lots of independent bars, restaurants and shops. Each room is completely unique, decorated in an authentic retro style, but scrupulously clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really high standard and generous, lots of choice right down to what bread you'd like. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

This is a gem!!! ...on your own or with a school group. They have so many resources right at the reception! Ask for THEIR map of Wien, was much easier to navigate than the regular map everyone else had. The personnel speak English (but were patient with our German), are totally friendly and helpful! The rooms are comfortable, clean and easily accessible for most. Just like the google pictures! Remember to put your key in the port by the door to turn on the electricity for the room! How Eco-Friendly: Umweltfreundlichkeit!!! The food (lunch/dinner: two dishes of choice- very good!) was a delightful surprise. The garden in the court was absolutely the Golden Piece, great atmosphere! Breakfast was amazing and a lot! Not a typical buffet, but a personalized breakfast! How thoughtful and welcoming. The gentleman at the reception was so friendly and helpful, as well as all the servers in the Restaurant and bar! There are also authentic Austrian eateries within a block, which we also ate at! This is truly THE place to stay! Vielen Dank Marvin Mangalino und Wolfgang Stranzinger!

We arrived early but the room was available so we could already check in. The hotel is very colourful and the terrace in the middle with all the flowers is lovely. The breakfast is excellent and we had dinner once in the restaurant which was very good. Our room was spacious (for 3) and very clean. Everyone was very friendly. We really liked this hotel which has a lot of atmosphere, is in the lively Neubau neighbourhood and is conveniently located for visiting Vienna

Nice looking hotel in a great neighbourhood. The one huge downside is a noisy restaurant located in the hotel's courtyard (all rooms have windows looking into the courtyard). It's so loud, you feel like you're literally staying inside the restaurant. You have to raise your voice to be heard inside your hotel room. Closing the windows helps a bit, but unfortunately there is no AC. So you have to choose between the noise and the heat. It gets somewhat quieter after 11 pm. Not recommended if you looking for privacy and like to sleep early.

Absolutely loved this hotel stay. Gorgeous courtyard, spacious rooms, and right near the train and team stations. I think they are doing some upgrades too. The breakfast is fantastic! Highly recommended.

While fully aware the hotel is rated as 3 stars and is not on the luxurious side, we were quite surprised by the condition of our room. First and foremost, the room we got was on the ground floor with barely any natural light. While there is a window in the room, the shades have to be down at all times or otherwise people will essentially have a constant view into your room. The other thing - the interior, furniture and bathroom are from a different era and must be at least 50 years old. While we don’t mind the furniture, bathroom could really use at least new shower cabin. It was not pleasant taking a shower there. The service was also not the best - you don’t feel particularly welcome there. Breakfast was good.

did not stay at the hotel, but ate at the restaurant. The dishes are very good and original, interesting food options. Prices are not the cheapest, the ingredients seem to be very good quality. Nice atmosphere specially when sitting outside. For lunch, the service was quite slow - especially considering that the place was not full, but other than - perfect place for some drinks and food with friends.

Review for restaurant: DELICIOUS food, but slow and inattentive service. The popcorn chicken is one of my favorite foods ever. The drinks are also very good. Be prepared to wave your server down several times and wait a long time for your food/drinks.

Not stayed At the hotel but for the bar/restaurant we love it. Good food, original dishes and nice selection of drinks. Friendly and efficient staff and a really nice, big courtyard which is perfect as a hideaway to get away from it all for a quick coffee

We went for dinner and ordered a salad and a main course with rice and chicken with coconut milk. They didnt have sardines. The rice was too much and the coconut milk sauce was too less so the food was dry for me and the taste was very bland. Overall not an experience which I expected especially when there are 100s of restaurants on every corner of the city. The courtyard ambiance is good with the palm trees.

Omg what can we say. Maybe the most beautiful and welcoming place to stay in Vienna. Staff was very nice and we loved to eat in the integrated restaurant austrian-filipino cuisine.

Having been told this hotel was wonderful from friends, I was so excited to have a stay with my mother. Unfortunately she became unwell and we had to cancel at the last minute - I just want to say how compassionate and kind they were to us in a difficult time. Thank you, and we will most definitely rebook in teh future!
