I can recommend this hotel as a reasonable priced option in Vienna. The Ibis style is the same everywhere which is actually good as you know what to expect. The room I got turned up to be quite noisy as the ventilation system was unusually loud and was blowing cold air straight to the bed. Still, when I went to the reception, I was offered another room at the same floor which was completely fine and quiet. The hotel shows some signs of aging but the rooms are clean and well maintained. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on this. In general a good option for those who don't need to be in the old town and want to pay a fair price.

Room decorations without any taste. Pillows and sleeping bed incredibly uncomfortable. You get up tired and with a back pain. Bed is too small for two persons. Covers too warm for summertime. Bathroom needs to be renovated. The same applies to the entire hotel. Incredibly loud, you get to hear your neighbors. Especially coming and leaving the room. View from the window... well see for yourself. Only in case if urgency and emergency 👀 Compared to the Ibis Style hotel, where we had 5 overstays, the room in Ibis Wien is bigger, but everything else is on a lower level. P. S. We didn't visit the breakfast area.

Room was ok, air conditioning but window wasn’t able to be opened. My room had a dodgy bathroom light and main door lock but it still worked. Would have liked plugs closer to the bed though, only two in the whole room. Breakfast was very good, especially the waffle maker and the staff were all friendly. Good location in terms of public transport being close to the Praterstern train and U-Bahn station but not the nicest area to stay in. Overall though, a good hotel with a few minor issues.

The rooms are OK, but the mattress gave me back pain and I don't visit back pain. It was loose in the middle and the spine does not stay straight. This was the only disadvantage, but a big one, as it really affected my daily activities

The hotel was really nice in terms of price quality standard. Clean rooms where all basic needs are available, and very easy to arrive at by metro. I just hated the laundry service provided by the hotel, it costs a lot where it is totally unreasonable, and they manipulate the pieces types in order to count more money.

the reception is open 24/7 and we had a warm welcome and easy check-in. The rooms are standard: small bathroom, a double bad, a small bench and long desk under the window. The rooms are equipped with all basic requirements (and even hair dryer). I only visited only for a weekend for an event, and the hotel was close to the event location. The staff is friendly and helpful. They offer optional breakfast (open bar with quite good food). They do not have a terrace but you take your coffee/beverage in front of the hotel where are benches. They also have a contract with a taxi company and they did call one for us (that arrived in less than 5 minutes).

I had a generally positive experience at Ibis Wien Messe in Vienna. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and comfortably warm. The hotel's convenient location, situated right beside a U-Bahn line, made travel to and from the city center easy. However, I must express some disappointment with the hotel staff. While the check-in process was quick and efficient, the staff's demeanor was notably abrupt and unfriendly. This initial encounter left a negative impression on our overall experience. I believe addressing the staff's approachability and friendliness should be a priority for the management, as it significantly influences guests' perceptions of the hotel.

Hotel is so close to underground station. Room was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. You can go to center by metro within 3 or 4 stops. Price is also reasonable. It was a good experiance.

Average Ibis, not yet refurbished but overall good. Breakfast was correct and the location is very good, two metro stations in 3 minutes. The bed is very comfortable, overall the room is basic. The corridors need at least a carpet update. Friendly staff.

A reasonable value hotel. The breakfasts are expensive (15 Euro) but good. Note that Ibis Budget (next door) only charge 10 Euro. Also, I had a glass of wine at the bar. It was very ordinary.

I don’t mind a plain room as long as it’s clean. This place was spotless. The room is pretty spartan and my two big knocks, that dropped it to 4 stars are that there’s no mini fridge and no coffee pot/tea kettle. I like my coffee first thing and to have to go down and beg and pay in the lobby in my pjs is an annoyance and for me a huge one. Otherwise they were happy to supply extra pillows and blankets and we were comfortable.

Had recently overnight on the way to the airport, great location of this hotel and good value for the money what you pay.

This is a very basic hotel. Very good location near a train station - a short journey to the city centre. The rooms are clean and serviceable, but there is no kettle, coffee, etc. There is also no shaver charger socket. My bed was quite worn out and the foam mattress was past its best, it had lost its springiness. Also a bizarre decision to have all in one hand/body/hair soap, instead of separate shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand wash. The TV was old and the seat in the room was quite worn out also.

One of the front desk staff was very rude; I gave her my passport when we checked in and she said that I was wrong, she looked at reservations but couldn’t find it, and in the end she just looked at my passport like how we started. We had to wait 15 minutes while she tried to find our reservation the wrong way. She then chided us for not booking through the hotel itself, saying that their rates were lower than our travel agency, but the posted rates were higher than what we paid through our travel agency. I have no idea what was with that staff person when we checked in. No refrigerator in the room.

In the past couple of years I have used this hotel a number of times while staying in Vienna. The price-quality ratio is good. I paid a little over €60 a night. A bar and restaurant is on the ground floor. WiFi was alright, but it is a bit irritating that you have to log in to the network every single day. The hotel is close to the Prater, but it is more than a 30 minute walk to the city centre. but there is an Underground station within five minutes and a travel card for a week will only cost you €17.10, with unlimited travel within the large centre (core) zone in Vienna. There are a couple of bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood, near the Praterstern station. Room (912) and bathroom are basic, but clean. The bed is comfortable. No things like a fridge, safe or even coffee and tea making facilities in your room. Only a small TV. If you would like to spend a lot of time in your room, I would advise you a more luxurious hotel. If you only need a room to sleep and shower, the IBIS Wien Messe is an excellent choice.

A bit old hotel with quite a terrible customer experience. I have never expected Ibis to be a anything special, but this hotel is one of the worst Ibis hotels I have visited or at least it is far below standards of Ibis in Poland not mentioning Ibis in Dubai. Check in experience was very bad, asking improper questions if we are sure that we have a booking for Ibis not Budget, also I was not offered a welcome drink as a gold member and not even recognized as a member. Hotel is very basic and old fashioned, no water in rooms, no kettle, tea, coffe, nothing. This hotel should be rated 2 stars not 3. Also breakfast is quite a bit below Ibis standards in other countries I have visited. This hotel is fine just for a short stopover, but for any longer stay I would recommend choosing a higher class hotel. Note: thanks to hotel Front Manager for a quick respond to my negative feedback.

I liked the location that is near Prater. The staff were friendly and breakfast good. The thing for the newcomer to remember is that do not go to the other Ibis-hotel that is just next door. If you do not want to stsy in fancy and expensive hotel, Ibis Wien Messe might be your choice.

For short trip not bad. Metro station and international central closely.

Great place to stay with all basic amenities, convenient if you have work to do near Vienna International Centre. Rooms are clean & quiet, housekeeping adequate, reception desk 24hr manned by awesome, helpful & polite personnel. Buffet breakfast is really filling with lots of variety, they even have a waffle machine! City center is around 18-20 kms away, but doesn't seem far as the hotel is close to the train station at Prater Park & in between 2 metro stations. Food outlets/small restos & cafés are situated nearby as well as a convenience store (billa)a short, walking distance at the back of the hotel. All in all, a good experience. This was my second time there- I highly recommend!

Good location, at 5 min walk from Prater, parking is 20€/day. The room is very very basic but clean. The maid got through my stuff and stole one of my Iphone chargers

Nice for a few nights in Vienna, but definitely only an average Ibis hotel at best. Although everything is clean and the wifi works fine, the hotel (or better, the room) has seen better times. There is not enough space in the breakfast area and so it is super crowded and they can‘t refill fast enough. And was there really no tea (just various types of coffee and orange/apple juice), or did I miss it it? Also, there was the possibility to have breakfast outside on the terrace/street. But the door didn‘t open from outside. Either somebody opens it from the inside, or the only way in is the main entrance of the hotel. Also the staff could have been more friendly and helping more proactively (e.g. during checkout). So OK for a few nights, but considering that it was not even that cheap, I was not overwhelmed.

The rooms are terrible. If you stop with the car outside to go in and ask where you can park, you get a parking fine... 36 euros, and of top of that you then pay 19 per 24 hours in the parking garage. Breakfast was good. There's no bang for the buck!

Everything was clean and the staff were helpful. Cost/value is not the best, but its 4/5. The view from the 7th floor is awesome, but can't go outside, just admire it from the window. Location is nice, it's between two metro station, so the city center is about 20 minutes away. The breakfast was generous and really good! They even have a waffle making machine!

The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful, the location is good as you have the U1 line to get to the center and a train station really close as well. I missed having some sockets next to the bed and better curtains as the ones they have right now do not really darken the room properly. Overall, I personally loved the views from the room! I could see the Prater and it was really nice, I'd recommend.

The hotel was nice and clean. Rooms have AC and if you are on the top floor you will have a wonderful view on the city, especially at night. The personnel there are very nice and helpful! You can always go to the reception and they will do their best to help you. The breakfast is good, maybe not 13 euros good but still a nice buffet with unlimited coffee. Overall, I recommend.

Clean hotel, spacious rooms for Ibis. Breakfast was quite poor. Public parking on the road 22Euro per day. Good location, close to the metro, quick access to the center. It is outrageous that there are still three channels on TV from the country of murderers such as the Russians. In Germany these channels were withdrawn, here Russians are clearly promoted. change it...
