I stayed at this hotel for three nights and for working reasons. It was just myself and I had a single room with a big-size bed. Personally, I liked the structure. It's modest but clean and well-positioned. It's perfect if you need to attend conferences at the University of Vienna. So I strongly recommend it. Bed was very comfy! From the reviews, some judged negatively the style. I actually liked it, a sort of jump back to the '30 and the old-style lift reminded me of my childhood in Italy. I find it interesting that the hotel was inside a residential building. The front office was extremely friendly and very kind. The only suggestion I have concerns breakfast: it was good, especially if you have a salty taste, but it was lacking some seasonal fruit. On the whole, I recommend the place.

Cute hotel in the center of Vienna, classic decor. Beds are comfortable, staff is very friendly. However, the *wildly* varying water temperature in the shower prevents me from giving 4 stars

I spent 5 very nice nights and there is nothing to complain about. Everything was in good condition and the service was no just polite but friendly. The location was good near public transportation but I also walked to the city center. It was a good starting point for the many great experiences I had in Vienna.

Old, tiny and very sinister atmosphere. I asked a quiet room but they gave a room next to the entrance where there’s a door closes and opens whole night. The bed is like a trampoline. The breakfast has few option and no good. So I moved out. With this price, you can go find a 4 star hotel with a good bed in this area.

It was just myself and I had a double room. For the price point, I think it’s a great place to stay. My room was clean, the front office very friendly, and since I don’t eat a lot of breakfast, it was enough. For the breakfast price, again a fair price for what you get. I’ve stayed in many old buildings and they’ve been fairly sound proof-ish. This one wasn’t so. It wasn’t bad really since I had to be up early and I am naturally a heavy sleeper, but one can hear the next room’s voice fairly well. Maybe it was the case of being extra loud because you’re in a remote meeting but the person next door to me had a meeting at 07:00 and I could hear everything she said. To be clear, my alarm woke me up. I work 100% from home and I seriously thought I was having some Zoom call nightmare 😂 The location for me was a negative but it’s not the hotel’s fault. If you’re visiting Vienna, fab location and many great eateries also. For somebody who needs to visit the office that’s located around the Vienna conference centre, it’s a good ~40 min door to door. Due to some big conference, this hotel was the closest. Public transport stops were plenty within 5-10 min walk.

Modest clean hotel for reasonable price with breakfast I didn't see allowance for wheelchair entrance.

The water flows out everywhere right after you finished your shower because the slides in the douce are broken. The bed is not really comfortable when you use them.

Basic place to stay with low expectations. People on reception very helpful. Daily cleaning is not done properly. Cleaners should be more responsible and ensure that client receives service for the amount paid. E.g left some packages down to floor to see if this will be picked up and untill last day was there. Small glasses in bathroom never replaced with clean for 5 days.

It is based in a period building so great for people who wants to have an experience of Period era hotel. Excellent location, value for money.

The hotel is close to city centre and it's possible to walk from there to almost everywhere. It is not very close to tram or subway. There are multiple restaurants nearby. The hotel is inside a regular city block with apartments on the second floor. It's marked well enough to find. The staff was always very pleasant and helpful. The breakbeat were always the same sortiment. Not great but good enough. The rooms were clean but very small (mainly the bathroom). There was a huge gap below the door that should have been covered by a threshold. We covered it by a towel. We asked for a quiet room and got a quiet room. I was satisfied. Recommend for a short visit.

We had a wonderful experience in Hpa hotel Andreas. We were a family group of 10 and our rooms were always tidy, quite bid and very close to each other. The staff was amazing and the breakfast was delicious. I really recommend this place!

The rooms are so small, cant open the bathroom door without bumping the bed. No double size blanket. Breakfast is very poor compare to everyplace i have ever been to.

Clean room, we slept at the inner courtyard and there was no city noise at all, only birds. Close to the city centre, however the metro was undergoing construction, which was not mentioned on the website, we had to take the tram instead. Would have been nice to know beforehand.

The hotel is very nice and cozy but nothing too fancy. The facilities are old but accommodating. The breakfast is very good. We had a good experience and enjoyed the stay. The only problem we had was that one night the power went off and there was an alarm beeping that didn’t let us sleep. There was no one at the front desk and the number they provide wasn’t working. Other than that we had a pleasant stay.

Very nice and helpful recepcionists. They are always willing to help you in any need. Comfy beds, nice rooms, antique building and clena. Plus there's a subway gate close to it and it just takes10 minutes to the center. I'd recommend it for sure. Excelent but breakfast which is not very varied.

Please don't book by looking at pictures on Expedia. Hotel is very outdated. Looks very creepy and haunted. Pictures don't tell true story. Only bathroom was good. Office manager is EXTREMELY RUDE AND MANNERLESS. HAS NO IDEA WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS. Our room was very outdated. Broken chairs with loose Stapled pad. Very poor options for morning breakfast. Couple of office staff whom I dealt with, especially person who check us in, is a good person. Knows how smile and knows how to deal with customers.

This is a pension, not a hotel. It's clean and the room is large but the bathroom is tiny - you have to step out to dry yourself. It's very old and tired looking, furnished with heavy antiques. It's comfortable but not what I was expecting. The breakfast is adequate European style.

There is very cozy and historical atmosphere place. Our room was very clean and nice. This hotel placed about 300m from main Vienna town hall. Breakfast could be better(Small selection of dishes).

In winter season, we visited the accommodation. I would say that the room is could be small but clean. And the host was being kind and made us feeling comfortable. Regarding morning meal, there were plenty of fruits which was delicious. Around the accommodation, easy to get some attractions for travelers . Recommend for people who looking for reasonable price accommodation. a few crew (2people per 1room is good in my case). fruits lovers.

It is a decent 3-star place to stay. The room was very clean. The furniture in our room had a barock style. the only negative was my bed that creaked if I turned sideways. The breakfast didn't have a big variety, but overall was OK. The receptionists were very friendly, ready to help and always with a big smile!!!!! I'm definitely going to stay there again. Hopefully in a better bed....😉😊

Such a charming hotel with a very nice viennese atmosphere and clean and tidy rooms. The service is really polite and ready to help you out. Breakfast is good as well, the coffee and hot chocolate is great! The hotel is in a really central area, so you can walk to all the famous sights (parliament, theatre, city hall, volksgarten,…). I really recommend staying there for your visit in vienna!!!!
