We booked a room via their website and opted to pay on arrival. We reiceived a confirmation of the reservation but when we arrived, they told us we aren't in their system and they have no spare rooms available. We showed them the confirmation they sent us but they insisted it was our fault for some obscure technical reason. Although we had a legally binding confirmation (checked back with Arbeiterkammer), they did not even appologize and just blamed the mistake on us. We then had to stay at a different and slightly more expensive hotel. Since we had a legally binding confirmation, we asked them to cover the cost difference of about 25 euro but they simply chose to ignore our inquiry. As further legal procedure isn't worth the stress for 25 euro, here I am writing my first negative review ever, hoping to spare other visitors the stress of dealing with them.

Amazing location and great prices for staying in the capital !! The cleaning services were great, food was veryyyyy tasty (I would recommend eating at their caffe) and the breakfast was very well served and tasty. Located a few steps away from the subway, it makes it very easy to move around the city. The staff were very friendly, the manager even gave us some places to visit which was very nice. Every request made was met in due time, which was very pleasant. All in all, i would definitely come back and recommend it to friends and family members wishing to visit vienna !!

Perfect location right next to metro and shopping street. Our apartment was alright with bath, kitchen and room enough for 6-8 people. However, there was no AC so it got very hot also the towels and mats were dirty.

If you need to crush somewhere just for a night, maybe. Nice photos on the Booking com doesn't reflect reality. There is no real entrance, you are passing through the Bistro to check in. Then you have to go up the stairs to the rooms which are ok, and nothing more than that. Beds are not comfortable but everything seemed clean. Location is really good and you are on the perfect spot for shopping if you are into that. Underground is just meters away and connections are just prefect. It takes you 8 minutes to Central station.

I will share photos of what I've had. They try but, should try harder to do this place really nice. U can see the mattress of the bed it's like a boat, wasn't comfortable. U can see the bed linen how it looks with a lot of stains with who knows. The pillows are very, very bad with bad smell and stains. U can see the photos of the breakfast. It's not rich at all, the cutlery, plates and glasses are greasy, it's really hard to find any clean one. The breakfast is open from 8 o'clock, but however if u missed it its not a big deal.. U miss nothing. The dinner.. If u choose half board option u choose between 4 meals of meat with fried potatoes or 4 meals pasta. I will not comment the starters and the desserts, should be improved for sure! I will never be there again. U can visit for one day But on the condition that you bring your own bed linen. The location is great, I guess this is the only one plus of this place and that's why it's still working.

Great location in Vienna if you want to shop and visit museums with a metro stop close by but different problems with the hotel in self. Paid for 4 people and wanted an apartment which we didnt get since the door lock wasn’t working and got offered a hotel room instead. The condition of the place was in shambles, ruined chairs, ruined couch, dirty sheets and electrical sockets straight out of 1970 completely left untouched from then. If you are looking for a good position but terrible hotel room this is the place for you!!They also lied in the reply to another family member of mine saying we booked for 6 people and shouldve gotten a bigger place to stay but as a family of 4 it was pretty much impossible for us to have another 2 guests on a family trip.

we were here for two nights. the location is perfect. we took three rooms, all three were very narrow and their bathrooms were very narrow. it was impractical enough. in two rooms the internet did not work at all. when I reported the problem at the reception, the girl who works there later told me that they fixed it, but it wasn't fixed at all. that bothered us a lot. I also have to praise the kindness of the staff, they were kind and helped us to enter the room.

Have stayed in this hotel one night and have forgot some staf in it. Connect with hotel reseption for shipping by post to my country, have checked pre paid shipping label (3.7€). And post office locations 3 minutes walking from hotel. Receptionist said I need pay more 15€ for extra service!!!! What ? I have been customer of hotel and already payed for the night + shipping will take 15 mines. AWFUL SERVIS , NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. (hopefully did not pay for glass water)

OK hotel. We were put in a room with a bed with only 3 legs. At least we got a new room quickly. Good price for that location.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast, convenient location in a shopping street in the centre. Just count on taking the stairs up to the third floor if you have a room with your own bathroom. There is no lift which might be a problem for disabled or elderly people. Mariahilferstrasse is noisy even at night so you cant sleep with an open window. The rooms are very small, but clean and stylish. The staff were really friendly and helpful, I would give them 5*. We got a very good deal (July 2021) so we were satisfied. There is a restaurant downstairs, we can recommend hamburgers and Oriental food, both very tasty. Overall, it’s a good choice if you want to stay in the city centre for a few days.

Old, filthy, small Hair on the smelly towels, dust and hair on the floor, in the corners, clogged shower, broken toilet seat, see through sheets, miserable building. It didn’t look like Austria.

Good breakfast, but they do not have their own parking, so you have to park in the street or in the payable parking garage.

Service was friendly and rooms were clean, but small. The water boiler broke, so we couldn't shower with warm water for a day, then we had to use a shower on another floor. I understand the situation, but it is taking a while to get fixed.

Urban Butique Hotel has been the worst part of our visit to Vienna. Location close to the shopping street, but very loud at night and day. The entrance to the hotel and its staircase - very filthy and discouraging. No lift and our room was on the third floor. Broken toilet splash and the bed. Breakfast - nothing special - in the small room where if more people no place to sit. No receipt for the breakfast payment. And finally, unhelpful and suspicious personnel. We felt unwelcome and hostile. One day during our breakfast some cereal bowls fell down and got broken. When the manager saw that the kitchen maid automatically told him it was our fault (she thought we didn't understand that) although it was nobody to blame on. The bowls had been put in a wrong way. And finally when we asked the manager to arrange an earlier morning meal for us because of the early flight, he didn't even bother to help us. He refused to return money for that last breakfast saying we should talk to the booking.com while we had paid directly to the hotel.

Really nice place to stay. In one of the most significant streets in Vienna. Well located, at just a few steps of the metro.

Good quality services and value for money. near the subway station(10 minutes to the city center), near the Möbel museum, brands and shops nearby, 35 minutes and 7 euros to the airport if you miss the shuttle service.

Perfectly simple and friendly It is a pension, thus the rooms and installations are basic but everything is working as it should. And this also justifies the rather small bed for a tall bed, but ok. What I enjoyed was the very friendly staff at the reception. It is at one of the main shopping street that normal people still shop good quality (but not at the boring Gucci stores and alike). Despite being a rather busy street, at night when the shops close it is quite quiet even with a window towards the street. There are enough restaurants just off the main pedestrian area. If you don't seek anything upscale but decent, this is the place - no frills, although there is a kitchen and common rooms.

The place was very clean and organized, new and best quality of furniture and facilities. The location is just at the center, I even didnt need a taxi in my 1 week stay. The staff was very polite and friendly, After several checkins i really recommend Boutique Hotel.

When you enter the building, you wonder how this stay could possibly get more than 3 stars? We are still wondering ! The cosmetic works that were done were too cheap to make the place looking good. The bathroom is clean but the shower door is broken, electric cable running here and there, marks on the walls, holes in the floor. It is still an acceptable place to land if you are on budget... What was not acceptable, was the strong cigarette smell in the room... I won't come back !

I spent 4 nights with my family in this hotel. The good things: the ubication, which is very good as you are ten minutes away by walk from the city center and there is a metro station next to the hotel. We took the dinner included option and it was good. The personal staff was correct. Tha bad things: there is no elevator and the building is very old. I think some works need to be made. The rooms are very small and bad isolated. The breakfast normally starts at 8 am but one day we couldn't eat nothing but the rests of the previous day until 9 am. I also have to say that when we asked for the dinner to be served out of schedule, they accepted without problem. The organization of the staff is a little bit messy. In conclusion, the hotel is ok taking into account the price that we payed for.

Such a different hotel compared to others. Very nice atmosphere. You get the feeling as if you dive into a different time. Nice, cozy hotel rooms with original interior.

I had lovely weekend with my wife. The staff is very nice and the breakfast is very rich. At evening we enjoyed our day with a cocktail in the bar and had a nice conversation with the staff.

The hotel is situated in an exceptionally central location with close proximity to the metro station. The cleanliness and design of the rooms left a lasting impression. The breakfast experience surpassed any I've had in Europe. The staff members were incredibly accommodating and warm. Furthermore, the prices were remarkably reasonable for Vienna.

Last minute cancellation forced our hand. Arrived dazed and confused at Urban Boutique, fella was good as gold. Stayed in Budget Room, but felt like a king. Room was warm. Chair was undeniably comfy. Bed was white. Only problem was we didn’t stay longer. A little bit of my heart was left in that room as we left. Taxi driver on way back hates modern football and loves George Best. Regards, Gymlad13
