I would give zero stars if there would be an option for that. The management is unwilling and unable to work on the bad conditions of the gym! Rooms, showers, steam bath and saunas are disgustingly dirty. Cleaning for them is putting up just another automatic deodorant spray to conceal the smell of dirt and sweat. Don't get me wrong the cleaning staff is nice and helpful and tries to do there job as good as possible also the trainers are friendly (but charge extra) however it's the middle/upper management that fails to their basic jobs of improving, modernizing and correctly maintaining their facilities. I've been a customer for a couple of years there and realize the demise of the studio continously. Intelligent personnel that criticizes condition and wants to improve things gets changed or fired. After complaining of pool/sauna area conditions, management reacted with closing the areas now hours earlier then the regular opening hours, to get rid of the evening regulars which kept complaining. If you speak to staff, you see how bad they get treated and are happy to find a better job. Cardio gym equipment like treadmills and steppers are old, in bad conditions and breaking down every second day. If that happens management needs weeks to fix even basic things like doors or hand dryers (for proof see picture). The only reason why this gym is still working is because of its good location in the central city. No matter what "special" contract you have or will get there. What you pay is far more than the "service" you will receive. In short, keep on looking for a better gym.

Great place and great equipement. The staff is wonderful and willing to help. With a contract in one of the gyms you have access to all the locals they have around town. Its a def plus the swimming pool. Comfortable, always clean and great facilities. As other users rated, it might be a bit expensive but anyhow you pay for what you get. I really have no complains!

It's the best Holmes Place in town (IMO) and deserves 5 stars for staff friendliness, cleanliness and overall aspect. The general complaint is still standing though. Once something breaks, it takes ages to fix. And I am not taking about workout machines, treadmills and steppers but rather about the swimming pool being under maintenance for almost a month. I would give it 3 1/2 but can't ...so... 3 it is!

Hands down the best workplace i ever had. And now that the whole gym has been remodelled i spend even more time there. The new technogym machines are state of the art top notch machines. The new functional area is huge and allows for all kinds of bodyweight training. The members are very friendly and allways up for a chat. Even though we had some difficultys in the past, they stuck with us and are still loyal to this day. The management is allways there if I have any questions, problems or ideas to voice and I have seldomly experiences a workspace where ones work is appreciated as much. I could contact our clubmanager at 6am on his day off with a problem and I get a helpfull repply almost emediatly. The personal trainers are incredibly knowledgable and for any sport you could think of you'll find someone who specializes in it. I have learned more in a year from them then in the whole time beeing a trainer before that. I would'nt say that HolmesPlace is perfect, but it has become a second home for me and for many members. It might not be cheap but it's worth every cent IMO.

Really bad experience.. The workers didn't inform us about not working terminal and we couldn't pay with card for a meal. As tourists we had to look for a bankomat what was a big problem..
