I highly recommend this location, the status/figures/ dolls are amazingly made. I was told the artist is Stelzer Gerlinde. The duration is great. They have used some creativity (moving dolls, video, 5D, decoration, ambiance) to take you back in time and make you get a better feeling of how it was back then. We were not allowed to take video but pictures were allowed and you can find some below. I have enjoyed it very much.

I didn’t expect this place to be as good as it was! Highly recommended. One hour tour with virtual machine included. Don’t worry about the language. They have a translator for every language … I guess :)

So good combinations of 4d and VAR with moving wax figures. The experience is all in German but there is an audio guide for non German speakers (not that good u can still hear the German stories). The most of the stories about the turks attacks, world one and two wars. Some stories about the imperial families, the plague, music and vienna attractions. As it takes 1 hour to finish then if u do have an extra time it will be good idea to visit. I really don’t like the focusing of the dark side of Austria and maybe having some more positive stories that will be more interesting to me.

The tour itself was an awesome experience. The best attraction in Vienna in my opinion. Extraordinary decor and a great way to discover Vienna's history. The money is definitely worth it. even had goosebumps during the world war monument. Why do it give it a 4/5, the main audio is en German, but it is So loud that I couldn't hear my portable audio guide anymore even tho it was on max volume. And the other thing is that the guide wasn't hospitable and friendly.

Here on the 2 Oct at ~6.30pm. Wasn’t sure if we could enter as there was a group of students infront and the sign at the door that said all the tickets were already sold out. But we were glad we went in to ask as a slot opened up and we managed to get in. The 5D experience was totally fun and unbelievably good. This 1hr experience presented me with a good understanding of Austrian history. I would totally recommend this. The counter staff was extremely helpful, totally made our day in Vienna. Love it!

Definitely worth the money and the time, it was really entertaining, service was excellent, everything worked perfectly (audio guide was great), transition from one room to another was smooth and overall the place is amazing, you can feel the old history of these walls. If you wanna learn the history of Vienna/Austria in there - you won't, it merely scratches the surface and it's a bit 'messy' but its definitely a fantastic attraction if you want to learn some trivia rather than get bored to death in a traditional museum.

It starts with a short discussion on a projected video then moves to an amazing 3D movie in old to new Vienna with vibrating chairs.. then there is a discussion theatre ( big moving dolls) between old rulers of vienna, then VR video.. then music hall where you can take photos.. then lastly a WW2 bunker experience.. it deserves the 5 stars.

Belvedere Palace and Museum is a magnificent architectural design, rich in sculptures and drawings by great artists of their time, and includes a variety of artworks. Must be on your visit list in Vienna

Great fun. Well organised. Good tour numbers not over crowded. Great snapshot of history in a fun way. Great for all ages at a reasonable price. Would recommend when visiting Vienna

Me and my family really like this place. There are two rides that can be entered with a one-way ticket. The first witness the history of the Austrian city and the second the life of the famous Queen Sisi. Dark history in the age of magic is revealed here. The most enjoyable experience is the use of 3D video. it is very beautiful and takes visitors inside a historical experience. Also the history of using very advanced VR. Visitors with wheelchairs have a bit of difficulty in this place because of the many stairs. There are luggage lockers and jacket hangers. You must visit if you come to Vienna.

We had a fantastic time. I was expecting a run down, cheaply executed tourist attraction but was pleasantly surprised. It was informative, enga, and entertained me and my kids (7 and 10 years old). It's was well worth the time and money!

Nice concept, but the tour feels rushed, like on a treadmill. You do not have the time to read all the interesting info tables because you are just ushered from one place to another. And our group was too big, so it was hard to find a good spot.

Such a fun experience! My friends and I are in our late 20s/early 30s so I wasn't too sure when we had a time slot with a school class but the tour is really exciting and interesting for all ages! Highly recommended for a special city tour with almost no walking.

One of my favorites here in Vienna. It's great especially if you want to learn more about the history in Vienna in a fun way. The staff were nice and helpful and I was glad to have English audio translation as well.

I would recommend this experience for everyone. The 4D and 5D was fantastic. The history of Vienna and Austria was great. Staff was extremely helpful. Very accommodating for non-German speakers too.

It was an amazing experience. It would be great if they could have the tour translated into Romanian also. I booked the experience with my family and my mother and my aunt do not speak English, neither German, but I have been translating for them. I highly recommend the experience for all ages! The experience was amazing!

Excelent experience. Very thrilling, didactic, fun and educative. It was way more entertaining and surprising than I thought it may be. The locations and ambience are absolutely exiting. The audio guide in Spanish functioned perfectly and was comfortable to carry. The souvenirs store had lots of interesting gifts for all ages.

Absolutely fantastic experience for the whole family. Especially great at the beginning of a trip to Vienna. You get a great summary of the cities history. My youngest daughter was 8, wouldn't recommend for younger kids than that. Looking forward to going back there next time!

This was for sure a highlight of my trip to Wien. Reasonable price for a full hour of entertainment. This is something that everyone would enjoy. Without spoiling - there is one part that might be slightly scary for little kids, but they warn you so you can choose not to do that. It gave me a great and interesting overview of Wien's history and I was quite impressed with the technology too. Would really recommend it to everyone.

If you are a foreigner be ready to be mistreated by the staff, especially the lady at the entrance of time travel and the other guy downstairs, no one told us it has a fixed time and they just left us wondering without instructions , by the time we reached to the entrance of the tour the guy started asking us repeatedly in a rude tone what time is your tour , how am i supposed to know! He was extremely rude, and they told us we just missed half of our tour ,we told them that no one informed us about a fixed time for the tour, the lovely girl said you can complain lol, bunch of teens with absolutely no manners or professionalism to tourists, just skip it don’t go if you have any respect to yourself

This way beyond our expectations! You get a 5D cinema, some VR, talking animatronics and a perfect intro into the country's history. Our tour guide was also very friendly and made sure everyone was happy. He's probably heard the show a 100 times so far but didn't at all look bored or try to shuffle us through. Well worth the money

It's an interesting visit, if a bit expensive. Consists of a series of different 'experiences', which include animated figures, virtual reality and so on. Generally it is well implemented. You'll learn a little about the history of Vienna but not too much. However, it is made in a fun way, so we were pleased that we went.

Great value for money. The video representation of wien (vienna) was thorough and great for knowing its history. There are timings for english audio as well. In the evening it is at 4pm. These change accordingly, note the time and enjoy. Wiens kiss painting is my favorite.

  • 4/5 Jeremy T. 6 months ago on Google
It's an entertaining experience, with various activities along the way : animated paintings, animatronics, dynamic movie, virtual reality... It's just a single path to follow. Not too long, not too short. Perhaps it lacks some explanation sometimes (about characters), and the sound volume can be loud, but it's definitely something I recommend.

Popular attraction which traces the development of the city from its very early days. Imaginative and informative displays including a 'virtual reality' trip help to bring the facts to life. Each scene lasts approximately 5-10 minutes before it is time to move on to the next. Suitable for all the family although they may need a bit of reassurance from time to time. Probably best to book you visit but you may also turn up and take your chance.

The details are very nice. What I didn't like was that in the 5D, the glasses were half blind for all of us, and when we complained, all they said was, yea sorry the technician will fix them... I am pretty sure they said the same for all the people who visited them on that day. What I also didn't like were the headsets, because you hear loud German speaking wax figures and at the same time old earphones that do not fit well, so it is like hearing 2 languages at the same time, and enjoy trying to understand...

Was very surprised by this excellent experience! Unfortunately seems not so known as an attraction in Vienna - big mistake. I have enjoyed it so much! One of the best attractions I have been in Vienna 👌

This place was absolutely amazing! One of the best museum experiences I’ve ever had. It was fun and interactive. I learned a lot in a great and fun way it was never boring. Something happened all the time and everything was extremely well made. 5/5 would recommend and I wish every city had this.

Very diverse methods to illustrate Austria's history. It was really fun, and it is worth buying the ticket online, because there is a discount. I had the impression, that it was explicitly made for tourists, and I would have been more satisfied, if we could have dived deeper in historical facts.

A great experience to learn more about Vienna's history. I definitely recommend. We took both shows €25.90 per person and both were great. If you get motion sickness be aware that the Sissi show might make you sick.

my family ( 2 adults and 2 kids) visited this place a week back. What we all loved the most was the 5D movie right at the beginning of the show. The movie is followed by a couple of other interactive multimedia experiences. All were of good quality. The staff was also nice and helpful and helped us move from one show to the other. The VR , 5D movie and interactive exhibits turned out to be a better way of learning history compared to the traditional methods, especially for kids. One thing we felt needed improvement was that, the exhibitions could be ordered chronologically. Someone who is new to the history of Vienna can get a bit confused about the order in which these important events took place. Otherwise, it was quite well presented.

Very interesting experience, similar to the "... Dungeon" venues. Quite OK for getting a first insight into Austrian history, and entertaining as well. The topics presented are a bit on the "standard commercial and tourist" side, except a good chapter regarding second world War shelters.

Its one of the best shows in this format I have visited. Strongly recommended. It's super. Also there are very friendly stuff. One note: maybe you shouldn't go with children less than 5, otherwise you need go with all your family!

Excellent!!!! Great experience for my wife and our little kids. The whole family enjoyed a lot this attraction. Get ready for fun and a learning experience thanks to the awesome creativity and the technology behind this attraction. Such a clever way to tap into a Second World War air-raid shelter. We totally recommend this experience.

Amazing experience, let you see the great histoty of Vienna. A little bit scary for young children but they'll manage it. Make sure to order in advance, they are exactly on time. We took the English audio guide and it was amazing.

Absolutely worth the time! Varied, interesting and funny. We really enjoyed it and took the whole tour. A pity taking photos is forbidden.

  • 5/5 Olena B. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely worth it! Loved it very much, very interactive and fun! Attended it with my 10yo son and he loved it too. The only comment for Ukrainian visitors: there is a section about WW2, and it is a bunker where air-sirens and air-attack is imitated - this may hurt, personally I fell into tears, so just be emotionally prepared.

  • 5/5 Younes N. 1 year ago on Google
Overall this is a well-done museum on all things Vienna (history, music, celebrities) and well worth the entrance fee. The highlight is the 4d fly over as well as the VR one.

  • 5/5 Ari M. 1 year ago on Google
The highlight for me is the 5D movie. There is possibility to buy time travel vienna in combination with Sisi amazing 360, this way you‘ll get full story of vienna. The time travel shop is ok, a lot of souvenirs that are not made exclusive for time travel vienna thou. Some of the shows like might be scary for children under 6 y.o but they are still allowed to go in and the guides are really nice and helpful specially when you bring your children with you. Overall it‘s a good deal and kids will love it. ⭐️

  • 5/5 Eli V. 2 years ago on Google
Amazing for anyone older than 10 😻 I brought here someone who really did not want to go to a "museum" and he loved it. It's well curated and it captures your attention.

  • 5/5 Marios C. 1 year ago on Google
Time Travel is an amazing venue where you can see the history of Vienna in an hour through VR and various rooms that contain information about major stations of Vienna history. Although it’s the second time we have visited the place, the kids were still amazed and especially with the 5D.
