The place is very nice- nice decorated and the waiters were all so smiling and helpful! The food was amazing! Excellent dishes from the breakfast/brunch menu. Very, VERY good brunch in a nice spot directly opposite the Naschmarkt. Service was quick and friendly, the dishes delicious, and the prices quite reasonable. I always like it when restaurants distinguish themselves from the crowd with certain dishes that aren't too common, and I think that's the case for Drechsler. Highly recommend the "Back to Bed" and the "Crispy Backhendl Sandwich" :). If I had a single gripe, it's how small the space is.

The dishes are nice and the atmosphere is cool. We didn’t really like their eggs benedict as the hollandaise sauce was not great, however their fried chicken sandwich was really well done. Their chai latte was amazing as well, partly because of how sweet it was ( even though they told us it’s sugar-free, I doubt it). The service was really nice as well, but they didn’t accept cards and we had to pay through cash.

Our experience started with a waiter pouring all of the orange juice over me. A nice accident to start your day with! Since I was totally wet with the orange juice which I ordered, I needed to use lot’s of napkins to clean myself. We are two people and sitting at a very small table so I put the napkins that I used to clean myself in the box where our forks and knives came. And then I have been called out by a very unfriendly waitress because apparently I am not allowed to put any napkins there. As a final note to our terrible experience, I ordered housemade fries but it is just supermarket freezer fries… So I am asking myself since when are freezer fries which are produced in a factory called housemade???

After the breakfast my friend wanted a cheese cake and I wasn’t so sure about it, but that turned out to be the best cheese cake I have ever tasted! Staff is very friendly and entire atmosphere is very nice. Make sure to book a table because the place is usually full.

This was one of the best culinary experiences we’ve had in Vienna. The food was both of amazing quality and the amount left us full without being able of eating dessert. The Drechsler Combo was a great choice as it had peanut butter porridge which served as a dessert, so you can have both salty and sweet food. The interior design and the atmosphere were very pleasant and the place was full in the weekend. I recommend making a reservation.

The area is trendy and bustling because of a nearby market, but don’t get stopped on the way and walk straight to Drechsler for a hearty breakfast for example. I tried their peanuts porridge and as light as it felt on my stomach, it still kept e going through my long day walking around galleries and whatnot.
