😠 Non existent customer service, was told to "beat it". Shouted at across restaurant. Just thoroughly disgusted with this place. Please don't waste your time and money by going here, it must rely being a tourist trap because it definitely won't rely on customer service. Perhaps the manager should read... Found the service completely disgusting. Bought ice cream not realising that it was takeaway only. (Not stated). Even after offering to pay for additional food or drinks was told to "beat it" and to go away. I hope to sound not too bitter but I do understand certain places have different prices, but having not been told prior to buying and sitting down I was not expecting to be shouted at across the cafe.

Extremely unfriendly staff. To avoid. Wish I could give no stars at all. Although the kitchen was closed, the waiter complained about feeding the baby and the fact that some of the adults also took a small slice of sausage, and a pregnant lady in our company was eating a breakfast cookie. He was extremely unfriendly and even making gestures to another customer complaining about us.....Polar opposite of the British public politeness.

The waitress was very rude in explaining that everyone in your group has to buy something to be able to stay. We came in a group of three, and one of us didn’t want a drink, when the she told the waitress this the waitress gave us a crusty look and said but this is a café and you have to get something. We were confused because we figured since two of us were buying something it wouldn’t be a problem. The situation could have been handle better, but we felt really uncomfortable the rest of the time there. Also, the orange juice seems watered-down.

The Village Café is located in the immediate vicinity of the Hundertwasser House. The modern rooms also offer space for various events. The service, in the person of the couple who run it, is fast and friendly. The landlady Rosi in particular is never at a loss for a quick-witted saying. I haven't tried the numerous cakes yet, but the "Styrian fried chicken salad" is very good. The butter-tender spare ribs with potato wedges from the oven are downright sensational - a huge portion that is currently only available by pre-order.

Fast service and average-quality staff. I ordered iced latte but it came with ice cream coffee. However, I still recommend it for great outdoor environment, broad view and comfortable seat. Acceptable price but a bit expensive since it’s a sightseeing spot.

Super tasty food, both the Viennese and the pork schnitzel. After a week, finally a place that serves 0.5 liter drinks. Very friendly landlady with a relaxed saying! Always happy!A tip for tourists who come from the Hundertwasserhaus and can't find the toilet in the souvenir area 3 meters away, at least keep your distance and offer 1 euro for going to the toilet or even better, sit in the beer garden and support the gastronomy!!!

We had a squished dead spider on the coke bottle. We were not in the mood to drink it after seeing that. After notifying the staff they didn’t seem to care, didnt offer us not to pay for it or to bring us a new bottle. Besides that they were lauging in our faces and making fun of us for the “complaint”. This was the only bad experience weve had in vienna. Can not recommend the place.

Perhaps the manager should read the reviews (on trip adviser too) and teach his staff how to talk to customers (hint: politeness and a smile tends to help)

VERY RUDE STAFF. I bought a soft drink there and they didn't allow me to sit by the table and drink it because it is apparently only for take away... (even when all the tables was empty!) ...WHAT!? Also theirs tone of voice was very disrespectful. Also definitely an overpriced place. Probably the WORST customer service I ever experienced. IM FULLY DISAPPOINTED.

The waiter is so rude there. We didn’t notice that the table was reserved, and he just placed the reserved sign on the table with lots of powder, he spoke of nothing even he could speak fluent English.

Today, August 20th, 2020, me and my girlfriend were in the Village Cafe: specialty of the day - beef tartare. It was a treat for the palate and a wonderful, sociable evening in the beautiful guest garden. To recommend. Thank you for this lovely evening.
