The worst experience in Vienna. The service is awful: I’ve been waiting 40 minutes for my coffee, the waitress screamed at us and she threatened the police, when she miscalculated our bill. Then she didn’t let us out and in the end wished we never come back here. Including the fact, that I am only 17 years old… I’ve never met such a disrespectful treatment. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This place is famous for it’s extremely rude and unprofessional employees. I lived in Italy, and this kind of service is simply an insult for the whole nation. Just read how many reviewers mention “racism”, “discrimination”, “rudeness”, “bad service”, they even dare ask for the tips. I can’t understand how the head of this place comes to a decision after all of the complaints keep the same employees. No “hello”, no smile, you don’t feel welcome there. They treat you badly and make you feel they do you a favor by bringing a menu after waiting for 15 minutes. Even if that would be the best coffee in town I’d never return to a place where unprofessional, untrained employees work. Yes, you got a great location and this place will be always full of tourists, but what kind of image do you leave for these tourists? I do not recommend to go there to anyone, do not support this place, you can find a great coffee just few steps away from there. Even the places with terraces next to Segafredo might not have the best coffee, but they are kind and polite!

Food was nice but I am left shocked by the experience! No greeting, staff just ignored me and I had to ask to sit down. There is no smiling here, just very miserable staff. I was charged €1.10 for a little sachet of butter!!!! When she brought the bill over I sent the butter back and this wasn't received well at all. I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome. I paid the bill and she asked how much I wanted to tip. I don't tip when I have felt so uncomfortable. I said I would just pay what I owed and you could cut the tension with a knife. She huffed and punched in the amount and didn't say anything when I thanked her. Not a nice experience to end my lovely holiday on.

Nice atmosphere, it's comfortable inside even though it can seem cramped because of how many tables & chairs there are, but actually it's cozy. Food is fine, we ordered light food to go with our good coffee (tuna sandwich that comes as a half sandwich portion - quite expensive for a half sandwich), hot melted cheese type pastry which was ok. The service was terrible, we waited 20mins for the waiter to give us menus (there were none on the table despite the manager stating there are) after he seated us - he came over to take our order & we hadn't received menus yet! Yes it was busy but he was not paying attention to his job, flirting with a few tables & chatting to them for some time, then his attention moved when people walked in & he seated them but forgot their menus too, forgetting entirely that he had to take orders from tables, that's why only 3 stars.

The cafe is located in the center of Vienna's square! Coffee is nice and the price is really affordable! It has a beautiful view too! There is a different place inside the cafe for smokers. You can sit either inside or outside the shop! Good choice for coffee and traditional Viennese sweets!!!

Very bad service, we came in earlier than other table and the guy waiter just passed us. I called him several times and he finally came. And I asked him if they have iced latte, he said okay latte cold. So then I asked for iced coffee, he said there’s English on the menu check yourself.
