Lovely, experienced staff. Great place to hang out. The coffee isn’t fab but people come here for an experience beyond just a good cup. Low ceilings, quirky decor, and an abundance of power outlets make this old-style charmer a great place for ‘cofficers’, that is, folks who treat cafes as their offices. If you’re a cofficer, do seriously consider leaving a tip! Toilets are upstairs via a quaint stairwell (watch your step!). Not mobility-challenged friendly.

Very nice traditional spot. Locals were there so it's legit. Coffee was also quality.

Large selection of cake, took the apple strudel with the vanilla. Love it. Cool design. Toilet could be better. They don’t accept credit card.

Very nice place. On the outside it looks small, but plenty of room inside. Walk to the end once you are in. Very good food (it is more than a "cafe" in the limited phrase that we were used to. We did not see the waitress that SpongeBob mentioned as unfriendly. On the contrary! Thera was a tall young man, acting very professionally and efficient and polite. We recommend this place. Toilets were clean.

Really good cake and hot chocolate. It feels like a family business where also the owner is there to find a seat for you. The cakes are really delicious (home-made). Had an apple/mascarpone cake - delicious and creamy

Nice cosy little cafe. The service and the atmosphere were nice. There wasn't much of a selection of cakes at the time we went there as most of the shelves were empty. However, it was a pleasant experience.

The only Diglas cafe I don't recommend visiting based on the negative expedience here. Bad service: instead of a pumpkin soup a red beet soup served and only at the end of the visit explained, that the menu with the pumpkin soup was actually outdated. Why not mentioning it when taking the order? The bathroom is messy: only cold water, no roll in the dispenser, one has to use one of the rolls lying around, some if which have stains of a suspicious color. In Vienna there are certainly much nicer cafes

Outpost of a Viennese standard. Often less crowded than the main location. Same reliably great cakes and pastries, tea and coffee. Polite, fast service.

(Translated by Google) This small coffee house is quaint and cozy and in contrast to large well-known coffee houses with a famous cake, you are served friendly and feels welcome. The cakes are delicious and there is also an excellent goulash soup for the small, hearty hunger! Better to be back here at any time than to be treated condescendingly in a large café !!

(Translated by Google) Cozy coffee house near the center. The back room in particular is really cute and appealing. We had breakfast here. Breakfast and coffee were good in themselves. Unfortunately, what I really found underground was the service. The cutlery and pastries were forgotten at my breakfast. In itself, it's not that dramatic. It was full, the service was stressful. Can happen. I had to ask Allersings twice and wait almost 20 minutes until both were brought to the table. My fried eggs were of course cold in the meantime and when asked to get warm eggs again, they responded with eyes rolls and clearly annoyed. - Too bad, otherwise it would have been a really nice visit. So it is only enough for 3 stars.

We have been here a few times, very good cakes and snacks, the coffee is supreme, the staff are very friendly and chatty, a very charming setting of old Vienna, takes you back in time of Vienna Blood books, the toilet is upstairs so mobility impaired people like me have problems, but as long as can walk a bit it's possible. I had apple strudel with a cappuccino, my wife had topfen torte and Caffe latte both excellent.

Very nice place, breakfasts are good and prices are reasonable (7€ for coffee + bread rolls, butter, jam + egg). No wifi or outlets, so not the best spot for remote workers and digital nomads who want to work online while having breakfast.

Last time I checked the calendar it was 2022 and this joint does not accept credit cards ! That along with the boring looking staff does not even make it a place worth trying. Recommend against it.

Walked in and we weren’t welcomed or spoken to at all. We weren’t told whether to take a seat at a free table, wait to be seated or order first and then find a seat. Literally no employee even said hi. We were stared at by the locals on nearby tables so walked out after 10 minutes as we still hadn’t been greeted or spoken to. They feel unfriendly to foreigners so don’t go if you’re a tourist! I’ve never walked into a cafe and felt so unwelcome for just being there!

It is not necessarily cheap, but to let this flair take effect with a good cake and an extended one. That has something. A visit is definitely recommended. (Translated by Google) The old Viennese Café Diglas is worth a visit, the unusual designs on the walls and chandelier is a real eye-catcher. The pastry is a dream of taste and quality. If you have to go to the toilet you have to climb a few steps which are a bit steep when you go down, so be careful. Otherwise very friendly and quick service! The prices are acceptable for the 1 district, the audience is rather mixed. Die Preise sind für den 1Bezirk akzeptabel, Publikum eher gemischt.

Old school Vienna cafe, with elegant interiors. Most clients were locals. Pretty basic drinks, average prices. Havent tried the food or the deserts, only coffee and tea. A good pitstop as its large enougb not to be crowded.

Older looking cafe with a nice atmosphere and good coffee. Despite there being quite a few people it was not overloaded and it was fairly quiet. There was only one staff who was super busy. I think they'd need someone else to serve.

We loved the place for authentic atmosphere and ridiculously tasty cakes. There is nothing posh inside even vice versa - lots of locals, everything goes it's usual way. But we were served very quickly in spite of the place being packed and the cakes... So good.

(Translated by Google) Quality of the breakfast was good, the waitress was unfriendly and uninterested. Special requests for food (1 bread roll and 1 croissant) were dismissed with a simple “No!”. In addition, the staff present probably enjoyed their work - but this should not be shown in constant loud laughter in the dining room.
