Yesterday Friday we wanted to buy 3-7 coffee cups in the shop on Julius-Meinl-Gasse. It said on the internet that pickup and shopping in the store is possible until 3 p.m.!!! It closed at 2:15 p.m. and we called. The information was: there is no one there anymore - come back on Monday. As a Swiss customer, we thank you for driving halfway through Vienna to get this answer. We have the saying "closed because of wealth" and that apparently also applies to Meinl!!! Despite numerous attempts to contact the company, I have been unable to reach anyone or receive a response for two weeks. What particularly frustrates me is the fact that I have been a loyal Julius Meinl customer for years and have always been satisfied. After my order arrived, I immediately noticed that an item was missing. I immediately tried contacting the company by phone but never reached anyone. I wrote emails but there was no response. I even tried to get a response through their social media but I was ignored there too. It is frustrating and disappointing to see how a traditional company like Julius Meinl deals with such a lack of customer service and communication. It feels like my money was just wasted and no one cares to solve the problem. I sincerely hope that this review serves as a warning to other potential customers and that Julius Meinl rethinks their internal operations to ensure that customers are no longer ignored and their concerns are taken seriously.
