Just by chance, my wife and I were passing by this cute little comic cafe and we had to stop in. Not only was the coffee and atmosphere great, but the owner, Sebastian, was extremely friendly. Coincidentally, we live in Hong Kong and he grew up there so we had a lot to talk about, besides him giving us many great tips about Vienna. I wanted to buy an Austrian comic as a unique souvenir and there were some comic writers and illustrators coming on the day we were leaving so we couldn't make it. Unbelievably, he offered to get the comic signed and bring it to Hong Kong for me as he was visiting a few weeks later. How many people would offer that? So just today I met up with him and we took photos together with the iconic IFC building in the background, which was made (even more) famous from the Batman film, "The Dark Knight." Amazing guy and an amazing souvenir and memory! Thanks!

Coffe is amazing, plant based milk alternatives are availiable, and the owner is forthcoming and friendly. I highly recommend stopping by!

This is not a review of quality but we spend 40 minutes to come only to find that the place was close on a Saturday morning during opening hours. Edit: We visited today for the first time, and after this visit I am very happy to edit my original review and give Comic Bean 5 Stars. The way they handled they previous mistake was very professional but also friendly. The service was very polite, and the place really cosy. We had coffee and bagels and they were both great. We are looking forward to next week's F.R.I.E.N.D.S. quiz. P.S. We also had with us a 5 month baby
