Best box in town !!

The box is completely different than the website promises. And that's good. Backyard, basement, earthy, used. That's how I like CrossFit. The welcome at my DropIn was super warm, the atmosphere was open-minded, Mandy's class was very professional and helpful. Now I “can” do power snatches too. Ouch. 😉

I did a drop in at 7am during my stay in Vienna for a long weekend. The coach was super nice and full of energ. The changing room was clean and proper the workout zone is good but would be safer to have more mat on the floor

Just visited a conditioning class. Everything started off well, the trainer was nice, the layout of the exercise could’ve been better explained but the issues were quickly rectified, however, while doing burpees I got a small piece of metal in my hand. It was a similar size to a piece of a staple however much sharper and fully penetrated under my skin, I had to squeeze it out. I showed the trainer and his response was ‘yeah can happen, it’s a dungeon after all’. No concern for whether I needed help removing the sharp piece of metal, whether I wanted any disinfectant or any remorse for the workout area being a health and safety hazard. I continued with the workout visibly annoyed by the occurrence, the impact site was still bothering me so before the finished I told him I would leave and asked if he had any disinfectant. After which he became extremely defense, asking to see the site, I told him the puncture site was small and not so visible but that it’s not okay and I didn’t expect to come to a workout and walk out with an injury and they should take more responsibility to which he showed me his calloused hands and said ‘yeah mine are much worse’. An extremely disappointing experience, if you can’t guarantee a clean workout area then you should display a disclaimer that there are loose metal particles on the floor. Stark contrast to the majority of other fitness studies in vienna who are impeccably clean and don’t even allow street shoes to be worn to ensure the floor area is a safe space.
