Katrina Daschner gives us the best exhibition in Vienna this summer, with mind-blowing videos which are among the greateat achievememts of the twenty-first century art!

There are many signs to direct you through the maze of rooms to the entry of this tiny museum. You know your architect failed you, when the entry to your public building requires numerous signs for people to find it. Once inside the tiny museum, there is no logical flow from floor to floor, nor are there any signs to let you know anything else about the museum. The exhibits are temporary and changing, but any information would be helpful to visitors. The current exhibits seem to be pranks to see how ridiculous they can get, pretend it is art, and still have a curator put it in a museum.

I always love Contemporary art exhibition except this museum. Too small, and nothing interesting. I spent €13 but I think it should be free to entry. Ticket office staff was rude. Very disappointing exhibition.

Extremely troubling experience with your staff today. I asked for some drinks to go. After a couple of minutes they said they cannot give me the drinks to go and asked for deposit money. I explained I asked for 2 bottles of water and 3 coffees and they asked for 5 euro deposit without explaining they would also give the water in plastic cups as they did not actually have the possibility to offer drinks to go. 2 male waiters (a man with long hair, tall and a shorter man with curly short hair) became physically agressive towards me and xenophobic. I was amazed that your museum while trying to be inclusive and friendly allows for their caffe staff to be xenophobic and physically aggressive towards tourists. I will in consequence file a complaint with your local consumer protection service. The coffee shop said that they are represented by the museum and they are not independent from you. Shame on you kunsthallewien!

Kunsthalle Vienna The Kunsthalle Wien presents contemporary art at the highest level in the MuseumsQuartier and on Karlsplatz. For holidaymakers interested in art, a visit to the Kunsthalle Wien is a must. The Kunsthalle Wien in the MuseumsQuartier, near the Hofburg, focuses on presentations of international contemporary and modern art. It is a place for the whole diversity of international contemporary art and related contemporary discourses. For this purpose, it develops innovative formats of exhibiting and communicating. The mediation programme offers access to what is presented on different levels, enables an interweaving of artistic practice and its theoretical reflection and promotes an intensive examination of current questions of everyday life.

If you want to arrive with expectations to leave the museum confused and disappointed this is the place to go. I’ll give it 2 stars instead of 1 because I’m willing to believe that past expositions have been better but this one was particularly bad

Literally the worst contemporary art I have ever seen in Vienna. The museum itself is also super misleading. they advertise this massive building and give you pamflets with amazing art in them, but the museum itself is 1/10 of the building and it is in 2, locations... we had to take the metro to see one 5x30 meter room.... go next door, both the leopold and mumok are a solid 5 stars,Please go there!

The site is interesting, combinations of various buildings with different architecture, the Mumok highlights a black facade as the center of the group and Contemporary Art... good for taking photos 🤓👍🏻📷

Nice place to see international contemporary art and young austrian artists. Don't expect a huge museum. The ticket is cheap if you're a Student.

A contemporary art museum featuring international art exhibitions. The exhibitions that I saw, No Feeling is Final: The Skopje Solidarity and Laure Prouvost's Ohmmm age grandma je ohomma mama, were thought provoking, which I think is one of the aims of this museum. Kunsthalle Wien in MQ opens its doors to the public for free every Thursday, 19:00-21:00.

Honestly, I’m pretty disappointed by this place. My girlfriend and I went here for the the “Darker, Lighter, Puffy, Flat” exhibition and paid 16 Euros. In turn, we received access to one exhibition hall, maybe 100m2 with probably around 50 pieces. Personally, I believe this is unfair pricing, and is probably the reason there were only 10 other people in this place. I don’t suggest coming here and I definitely don’t plan on visiting it again in the future. Especially not when it’s 16 Euros for an exhibition that takes 20 minutes at most to view. EDIT: Yes, the old films and interesting variation did make the exhibition more interesting, but that doesn’t change the fact that it was 50 artworks, which I counted in the book provided to us in the beginning. Go next door to the Leopold Museum, where you’ll pay 14 euros for 4 exhibitions that took me 2,5 hours to enjoy. I appreciated the art in your exhibition, just not your pricing, as highlighted by other reviews.

A great place where you can experience Contemporary Art. If you are into this field you cannot miss this museum in Vienna. Exhibitions are well explained, wayfinding is clear and the assistants through the whole building are helpful. Even the shop is cool. Don't miss it!

Chased out 20 minutes before closing time with no explanation, just "closed".

I usually like exhibitions in Kunsthalle, but the last one was so disappointing that I can do anything else than give 1 star. Time is Thirsty is the most useless exhibition I've ever seen. If you can, avoid this place and save your money, 8 euro for an empty room.

Museum within MuseumQuartier exhibiting a series of changing contemporary art. There’s a pond outside the museum that’s great to hang out and enjoy the energy. There’s even art installations that is made to sit and hang out. Pretty cool.

Don't spend your time or money and avoid it for your sake One if not the worst museum ever was. small, boring, and feels like they just took waste from some protest and use it as "art". took this photo as a joke, (not really care about anti male propaganda, find it really sarcastic) but it symbolize all the art in this museum.
