The place are incredible. My 2 kids (8,10) enjoy very much of "All wood". It was very interesting, English friendly, the time flew for my kids too fast).

Favorite kids museum of my kids in Vienna. we was twice there. Once to the room Ocean for small kids which was very nice to play for small kids but quite short. Second time we book metal workshop and was also amazing. cant wait to go back very soon

Such an absolutely wonderful place for children to learn! We attended a class in the atelier and had a fun time creating beautiful art. My son especially enjoyed it as he still talks about it over a month later! The teachers were so great with the kids and explained everything to them so well. Such an interactive, hands-on class. An absolute joy! And although the class was 99% in German, and we speak zero German, we still were able to follow along and make due. Luckily the instructor spoke English and could answer any questions we had but it was a straight forward class. (We had the pleasure of attending the "Be a Plaster Master" class in May 2019).

It was a unique experience. Our 2.5 old son was so excited, that he didn't want to go! A small tip: you have to book in advance your tickets, i would suggest one day before you go.

Visited on 5th July 2022. The girl managing the session introduces all the children to the world of oceans, describing the different types of fish and sea creatures that one can find under the sea... only that she does it in German. She knew me and my kids were non-German, English-speaking tourists, and yet she did a ten minute introduction, and finally a five minute long conclusion, strictly in German. The only words she spoke in English were "The end, time up" when time ran out. I find this attitude arrogant and, in an international setup, stupid.

We did the Atelier. It was a lot of fun. Only tiny thing was they spoke too long about what you can do with clay and we were anxious to start playing, time was running. Should be 2 hours long, to be able to do more. Very friendly staff.

Really nice place to visit with children. Few arenas with diffrent stories and themes, each of them for diffrent age range. You have to wait for a session to start, every 1 hour or so, recommend buying tickets in advance. Nice coffees and restaurants near by so you have good options to spend that waiting time.

This museum is completely rigid and has very strict policies, which they don’t advertise well. It's not family-friendly. We came slightly late and were not admitted. In all of our travels, we have never been to a kids museum that is strict about admissions. We couldn’t go later or get a refund. I would advise not buying tickets ahead of time so you don’t spend a lot of money for nothing.

Great place. We were at the OZEAN and it was wonderful and fun. Prices are also fair. My son(5) will be going to the HOLZ Programm next week and we are looking forward!

My three year old had a blast here. She explored the ocean room. I also had my 6 month old with me. We didn't make a reservation, but they let us wait ten minutes to see if any reservations were not claimed and we got a spot! The staff was kind and helpful. I would love to visit again!

I have been here twice (ocean and Atelier), but every time I have been disappointed. In both cases incredible unfriendly staff and not engaging staff at all. If you don’t expect any engagement from the staff it’s ok, but for a children museum I expected more!

Interesting museum with different interactive stations for children to be engaged in the theme. Facilitators were nice and they also catered to English speaking crowd.

Hands down our favourite thing during a 10 day holiday with kids in Vienna. So great we came back and went to more of their exhibits later in the holiday. It's not a museum in the normal sense - more a set of perfectly executed "experiences" for kids, all with humour, wit and wonder in abundance. We found the age suggestions worked very well for our English speaking kids (who were well catered for). If you have kids - just go. Book in advance as it does sell out.

Very nice museum! We went to the ocean playground and to a workshop with wax. My 3 year old kid was very excited.

If you have a tiny person and are in Vienna this place should be on your list. Immersive story time with the group at the beginning, with the host taking time to subtly deliver it in English to me when my high school German gave out. The environment is fun, interactive, and adults have as much as the children watching them enjoy themselves. My toddler loved it and there was a school trip of 5 year olds also enjoying it. The staff are kind, interact brilliantly with the children.

Your little kids will love it in here. We ware just in the " ocean playground " I was swatting from running behind me little daughter for whole hour. The Staff is nice , and not interfering with child play. Happy to help. DONT FORGET CALL FOR RESERVATION BEFORE GOING!

Interesting interactive exhibits for children. However the guiding is only in German so despite texts being in English non-German speakers lose out quite a bit.

If you have children (+2yr) it's one of the most thought through, inspired and fascinating places you could wish for in the middle of a big city. One of its best features, besides location, is that it's one of those extremely rare playground concepts which are interactive. Kids play along with their parents and everybody has fun while learning new things about nature and technology. The employees are helpful and friendly. Strongly recommend it and kudos to all who put it together!

Always a pleasure. There is no 'wow' feeling you can get in big museums (it's quite modest, not a museum actually, more à discovery place) but they clearly do the best with what they have! Well done workshops, all designed around kids, very well laid out, very educational but also with a 'do yourself' dimension which is what kids like. Staff is attentive to the kids, well done and thank you.

My son loved this place and the counselors were kind enough to translate into English for him. We went twice in the 2 weeks we were in Vienna.

What a great museum! We managed to see only one exibition and kids could be there much more than 90 minutes so it is a really good reason to visit Vienna again. I appreciate helpful and friendly stuff.

Excellent experience for our two kids. They loved it and got involved even after a full walkabout day in Vienna. Many ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the staff.

It was very good exprience for kids in Vienna. But with these ticket prices, there could have been more to see

As a childcare worker, I've come to the ZOOM museum with a few different children and have had nothing but positive experiences. The exhibits are fun, engaging, and educational. Somewhat less importantly, I've always had a good time myself. The communication exhibit has gotten me interested in Morse Code and it's just been a pleasure coming here.

Well-thought combinations of activities on a theme. Our child wasn't interested in every activity, but liked enough to keep busy and found some he kept wanting to return to. I would suggest splitting up more when attendees don't speak the same language--kids lost interest in the staff explanations that came with translations every sentence. We also wish there were general areas of the museum accessible without scheduled sessions.

Great for Kids of every age. My 1 year old was having fun in the ocean playground that is huge and my 4 year old was doing pottery with my wife. Both had an amazing hour for not too high of a price. Pretty okay value, we will come back and definitely try the other rooms too!

It is a very special place where the kids can explore and learn through experimentation. The museum staff is very friendly, polite and dedicated to visitors. The facilities in perfect condition, Impeccable public toilets. 100% recommended. Just buy your ticket with days in advance on the museum's website.

Insanely rich art collection. Also there is a mint collection. Allow about 3 hours. Note you can buy combined ticket with Imperial Treasure or Leopold Museum

Nice place for the kids to get creative. Make sure to reserve in advance. Unclear if there was any exhibition or other things to see besides the workshop.

Our kid just love it. But one hour that you are allowed to be there, is just not enough. Better to visit Technisches Museum Wien.

The real deal for your kids. Cheap, interesting and well organized. If you have children and you want to visit Vienna you should go to Zoom!

We did the ocean zone for our 2 year old. He loved it! It's a big area for kids to explore, a lot of small things to play with and kind staff to help the kids. It's not your traditional museum so don't think of it that way, as each section is broken down by age group so it's not a full explore setting. But nonetheless great for kids, way better than anticipated.

This is a great spot for kids from a 1 year up. It idea grouping and separating the areas according to ages. Each so is highly interactive for when it comes to the age. One must be aware that you have to reserve a spot as they have specific opening times for their program.

well depend on the days. it can be a little stretchy and some corners tight if too busy so better to choose the time wisely. nevertheless very informative and interesting . definitively a go to place with kids. friendly staff
