(Translated by Google) As the only one of its kind in Europe, the family business has been producing the original Viennese snowglobe for 116 years, which enchants tourists from all over the world and is an absolute best seller of the Christmas markets. The story of the snow globe goes back to Erwin Perzy I. The skilled surgical instrument mechanic and inventor developed by experiment with cold light and a cobbler ball finally by chance than planned the first snow globe. In 1900 he even received the emperor's honor for this idea. Open from Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm, you should definitely pay a visit to this unique museum and the associated shop for lovers.

Small snow globe factory. Since 1900. The original. With a small museum. Cute shop. Recommended if you have already seen everything in Vienna. From €7

My daughters get to choose a snow globe at the Christmas market every year. They are passionate about collecting them and we are more than impressed with the quality. This year, my daughter unfortunately lost her new one at home. I immediately ordered this ball online. Despite the holidays, the effort was made to ship immediately and it arrived quickly. We are thrilled with the snow globes and will continue to collect them diligently for the next few years. Thanks

(Translated by Google) Shortly before New Year's Eve we were in Vienna and visited the museum. A small, fine museum, admission is free and a real MUST for snow globe lovers. In the shop we then bought a small snow globe suitable for the turn of the year. Nice to have you! Thanks! Danke!

(Translated by Google) A very special world of fairy tales to marvel and rejoice and especially for people who are looking for a special, original souvenir. There are even made to order, and they are amazingly cheap! I was immediately fascinated by the delightful shop and would love to come back! Please, dear team from the original Wiener Schneekugelmanufaktur, stay healthy and stay with us for a very long time with this wonderful piece of Vienna !!

A great little shop - you immerse yourself in another world. In the background is the factory and a snow globe museum. Snow globes come in all sizes with a variety of fun and amazing content! Charming young saleswoman who doesn't get upset by even the biggest Christmas hustle and bustle!!!

A history of the Snow globe, from it's fortunate creation, to it's global export and popularity. A nice little museum, well worth visiting :)

It was nice, but I would prefer to see how they make it rather than just seeing fansy snowballs. Anyhow, it is nice but not something to say one has to visit it. If you had really extra time you can visit it.

If we could give 10 stars, it would still be too few! The family loves their snow globes with all their hearts! It was extremely interesting to hear the whole story. We'll definitely come back!!!

First, you have to go up to the end of a tram line, so it's very far away from the city centre. Second, I don't know where the young woman in charge learnt about welcoming customers, especially foreigners, for sure she didn't pass the final tests about the subject. She greeted an Austrian family with children as if they were the best VIPs in the world, the right thing to expect, but as we came in just after them, her welcoming was the worst I've ever received in Vienna, and that's saying a lot about that city. After 5 minutes she DISAPPEARED from the shop and we were waiting for her to pay for our souvenirs for more than 10 minutes. I'd recommend her to attend some course of customers assistance or just come to Spain to see how we deal with clients. Definitely, I don't recommend to waste more the one hour of your valuable time visiting that place, it isn't worth it. We visited the place on 29th Dec. 2023 at about 3.30 pm

The museum part is located on the ground floor of the building. It's a small and modest place. While visiting the museum, you take the snow globe you like with you and make the payment on the sales floor above.

Sehr nette Mitarbeiterin.

(Translated by Google) Nice little museum with shop. The owners put their heart and soul into it and if the senior chef has time, you get a private tour including the history of the snow globe from Erwin I to Erwin III. Very interesting and just beautiful. And the special highlight: if a wheelchair user comes, a ramp is built without further ado :) Definitely recommend to stop by there during a trip to Vienna.
