Large, lovingly presented home and work museum about the history of the 14th district. Themes are also nature, birds, stones of the area, some rooms are dedicated to famous artists (Heinz Conrads, Otto Wagner, Ernst Fuchs and many others). I would like to highlight all the wonderful workshops (piano makers, glove makers, coopers, train dispatchers at the ÖBB...), a historic kitchen, a laundry room and the old grocer's shop with many products from the past, objects and objects is particularly beautiful. In the garden there is a lapidarium, a stone collection, and there is an old telephone box in the stairwell. Insert 1x1 shilling. 💞 Take your time. But very extensive collection.

(Translated by Google) You think it's boring, but that's not true. We had to go a second time to see everything. (Original) Man glaubt sowas sei langweilig, aber das stimmt nicht. Wir mussten ein zweites Mal hin, um alles zu sehen.

Anyone who is interested in the history and the district will always find new exhibitions, and the brick museum on the ground floor also reveals a lot about the past that affects Vienna as a whole. Just great!

Extremely good and extensive exhibition! Lots of old maps and photos and items on two floors! Also geological and scientific information! In addition, a very nice and competent staff who always have some funny anecdotes to share! Very entertaining and definitely recommended!

Very interesting and lovingly designed museum about many areas of everyday life in ancient times such as the grocery store, laundry room, kitchen, woodworker's hut,... Great model of Penzing and its own room on railway history

Very nice district museum! For example, the tram in the district and information about the Penzing and Hütteldorf train stations are shown. There is also a brick museum.

For anyone interested in railways, there is an exciting little railway museum, with demonstrations of old switch positions and many personally told stories by the supervisor; Also interesting is the relief from Penzing, which shows what the district looked like in 1815. The employees are incredibly committed!

A unique experience!! I won't forget this day. This was a formative, informative but also action-packed adventure for me and my children. Definitely recommendable!! It's a shame there aren't 6 stars...
