It is a disgrace that on the museum's homepage this business, owned by my grandmother, Hildegarde Linsbauer (née Raspaldo) and her ancestors and founded by my great-great-grandfather Franz Kieslinger Sr. is presented as the Sädtler flower shop. The flower shop at Schwarzenbergstrasse 1 was never run by the Sädtler company. My grandmother sold the property in the 80s to the Ruhnau company, who continued to run the business as a flower shop. The reference to this and a visit to the museum including an offer to provide important items on loan were ignored by the museum employee present, even though I had left my contact details. Apparently the intention here was to maintain the distortion of the truth and not to contribute to completing the collection. It's sad how the facts are handled here... One would like to believe that a museum and its scientific directors care about presenting the exhibition truthfully or supplementing the collection or presentation with additional exhibits. An indictment!

Nice little museum with a small show garden in the middle of Vienna next to the Kagran subway station.

The museum was certainly submitted with a lot of love. I find it quite amateurish and unspectacular. The school garden, on the other hand, is absolutely great and worth seeing!

I was there a few days ago and it was just beautiful! The opening times are a bit stupid because I would like to go there more often, but they're just great! So quiet and beautiful in Vienna! It's really worth a visit, stop by and see for yourself

It's quite okay. Small and clear. There is a garden with flowers and plants. Entry is free.

!ATTENTION ABOUT THE OPENING HOURS! For reasons I don't understand, you can only visit the associated garden from Monday to Wednesday. When I unknowingly tried to go into the garden, I was directed back into the museum for no apparent reason. It certainly wouldn't hurt to put this information on the museum website! The museum itself is interesting if you are intensively interested in horticulture, some interesting (historical) equipment is on display.

The museum is very small and everything is in German (I recommend bringing a translator). Admission is free but you have to check the entry times. The garden is beautiful, they have different types of plants, places to take good photos, a garden dedicated to the French painter Claude Monet. If you have two or three free hours you can go to this museum/garden and enjoy. They can also go sunbathing or have a picnic. Tip: Bring an umbrella, water and sunscreen because it is very sunny or rainy.

This place is great. Its a really pretty place, but I would suggest to only go during summer time. Thats when it is the nicest. There are huge patches of grass where you can just relax. All in all a great place. Only a 4 star because it doesnt offer anything super special except for people who like plants

Was greeted very unfriendly with the words “the garden is closed” and then immediately walked out - I will definitely NEVER come back!!!
