It has a good selection of shops and the opening hours are quite flexible. But the atmosphere is not so cozy as other shopping malls in the city. The location is well reachable with the U6 line. Overall, good options for the opening hours.

Open till reasonably late (8 pm) and has a decent selection of stores. Clothes shops are mostly populated by off brands and Guess. But there is a supermarket, multiple phone and electronics stores, cosmetics, and other more independent stores. A decent selection overall. There are also a number of seasonal events held in the mall throughout the year.

Lugner City is a well-known shopping mall in Vienna, Austria, named after its founder, Richard Lugner. Located in the 15th district, it provides a diverse shopping experience with over 100 shops featuring both international and local brands. It's not only a place for retail therapy but also a hub for entertainment, housing a multiplex cinema, numerous dining options, and often hosting various events that draw in crowds looking for more than just shopping. Its central location and proximity to the Wiener Stadthalle make it a convenient spot for both locals and tourists seeking leisure activities in the city. This is where I was photographing "Diwali" festival few days ago...

There was a plastic mess on the first floor... Think it is from a child park or sth. Overall good. And Media Markt was awesome.

Can anybody tell me, why in City Center cleaning woman force me to pay for the toilet? Toilets in city centers shouldn't be for free? And second, why she close the toilet at 11 p.m. and I can't use it, even when the bar next to it is still open, till midnight??

A shopping centre located in the 15th district of Vienna housing many facilities for children. It has an interesting architecture and sometimes feels like a labyrinth. Located near the Western Railway Stations, where the U3 and U6 have stations.

The layout frankly sucks. But the selection of stores is pretty good. But don't count on maps helping you find where specific stores are inside the mall

One of the biggest malls in Vienna. Has a food court, a movie theatre and a shopping section. Quute a few options of where to shop and eat. In addition to that, an access to a fitness studio is available as well. Low wheelchair accessibility, as there are many escalators and few elevators which are far apart. Easily reachable through the U6 at Burggasse/Stadthalle. Recently has become somewhat of a local meme because of it's weird owner.

Rating: 3.5/5 During my recent visit to Lugner City, an older shopping mall with a distinct character, I found that it still managed to provide a satisfactory shopping experience. Here is my review: Architecture and Atmosphere (3/5): Lugner City carries a nostalgic charm, reflecting its age and unique architectural style. While it may not boast the sleek modernity of newer malls, its classic design adds a certain character and appeal. The atmosphere inside was relaxed, and the mall felt spacious, allowing visitors to move around comfortably. The blend of old and new elements creates an interesting and enduring ambiance. Store Variety (3/5): Lugner City offers a decent selection of stores, catering to different shopping needs. From clothing and accessories to electronics and household items, the mall covers a range of shopping categories. While it may not have as extensive a variety as larger malls, it still manages to provide essential options for shoppers. However, some popular or niche brands may be missing from the lineup, limiting the choices for certain individuals. Maintenance and Cleanliness (4/5): Considering its age, Lugner City is relatively well-maintained and kept clean. The management appears to make an effort to ensure the common areas are tidy and presentable. Although there may be signs of wear and tear in certain areas, it does not significantly detract from the overall shopping experience. Dining Options (3/5): Lugner City offers a range of dining options to cater to various tastes and preferences. The food court and standalone restaurants provide a decent selection of cuisines and snacks. However, the variety may not be as diverse or extensive as in newer malls, which could limit the options for those seeking unique or gourmet dining experiences. Parking and Accessibility (4/5): Lugner City provides ample parking facilities, making it convenient for visitors to find a spot. The mall's location and accessibility are favorable, with easy access from main roads and public transportation options available nearby. These factors contribute to a hassle-free arrival and departure experience. Overall Experience (3.5/5): Lugner City, with its age and enduring charm, offers a satisfactory shopping experience. Its unique architectural style, decent store variety, and well-maintained facilities create an inviting and comfortable environment. While it may not have the contemporary amenities and brand selections of newer malls, it holds its own with its distinct character and enduring appeal. Note: Individual experiences may vary, and this review reflects my personal opinion based on a specific visit to Lugner City, an older shopping mall with its own unique charm.

This place has very weird vibe. You have no idea where to go, there are weird shops everywhere, weird restaurants which are awful. The dining tables are filthy. I wouldn't go there, nor eat there. There are many odd people which are staring at you like they want to stab you into your back. Do not go there alone at night.

I saw some reviews saying that the layout of the store is confusing, but once you visit it a couple more times you will know where everything is, but there is also couple maps laying around the mall. the shops and buffets are nice, and the decorations are wonderful. customer service is also great. The only think i personally dislike is the actual layout itself.

A very low-class, quite depressing shopping mall, the only good thing about it is that it is the only one in Vienna with customer friendly opening hours (until 9pm). I honestly don't understand why none of the more central and better quality malls (e.g. Wien Mitte) can have similar opening hours.

There is a charge for the toilet, which is unbelievable. At the same time, it is not clean! Too much crowd. Big discounts. Plenty of action.

Not bad for a mall, always having diversity of shops and restaurants, I like that subway went from the top floor to the entrance and Action opened also next to it. My son likes the playing area they often make in the middle void of the mall, the Christmas cookies baking there also fun.

I was working there, vaccinating people. Basically, it`s a rather cheap shopping center, including places to eat and trink. What I love there, is the international character.

It doesn't have a sports shop. The elevators are very slow. Not enough efficient ways to get up and down the levels. Looks kinda like a dirty old place.

Great mall. We stayed nearby and were able to get there everything - food, clothes, sim cards. There's a big Billa there, h&m, C&A, dm, media markt.. Everything you might need.

  • 2/5 Jassim A. 1 year ago on Google
It is very small and it doesn’t have a lot of shops that are popular. I would say it is not one of top shopping malls in Vienna.
