Ah, I hate to leave low reviews for vegan and restaurants with vegan options, but I always have to be honest. I made a reservation for 1 before coming here and when I arrived there were two empty tables outside. I asked if I could sit at one and they declined saying it was reserved. Okay, got it, so I took a seat inside. No problem. As time went by and I waited on my food, a couple walked up and asked if they could take one of the tables and sure enough, they were accommodated. I believe, because I was solo, they wanted to reserve the outdoor tables for couples. It was a lovely evening to sit outside. I ordered a traditional Austrian dish and I simply did not enjoy the combinations of flavors and textures. I would try something else to see if it was just that dish I did not enjoy. The time came to pay when I was informed that they were cash only. There should be better signage outside and possibly inside stating that it’s cash only. I had to go to an atm to get cash out as this was my last evening in town and I didn’t have any more cash on me. The meal price went up due to me incurring atm fees. I posted a picture of the “cash” sign they have outside; can be easily missed if you’re not looking up. Sure enough when I left, there was still a table available outside. (-_-)

Delicious roast onion/soya with dumplings dish. Very hearty and filling and we probably didn't need the potatoes as a side dish. Red Austrian wine was delightful.

Pros: Great vegan food. Tastes true to tradition. The goulash was probably a standout. Vegan Schnitzel was great (Seitan). Cons: service was slow and lacklustre, but maybe that’s because it was a Monday night (benefit of the doubt here, but maybe that’s just a thing in Vienna). They only take cash. This isn’t 2001. Very inconvenient to have to talk 150m to a cash point after you have sat down to get cash because the owners most likely don’t want to pay their dues. Catch up. Conclusion: Get cash out. Come in a positive mood and you’ll have a wonderful time with great food!

Pros: + Every dish is either Vegan or Vegetarian (you can choose), and big variety of dishes available. + Fast and nice service. + Cozy place in a central location. + Big portions. Cons: - Overpriced, and only cash accepted. - Open kitchen, meaning all clothes will smell like food in the dining area. - Menu and taste was leaning more to cafeteria food, rather than home cooked (which i would've expected at that price). Had the: Natur seitan steak, Gordon bleu, Organic seitan nuggets

Completely vegan & vegetarian restaurant with a nice range of different authentic choices. Service was a bit slow as there seemed to be only 1 person working. The restaurant accepts cash only.

I went to Landia several years ago for the first time, but somehow forgot about this restaurant till recently. I kinda regret it, that I missed all these years without going there, so last week I went there twice and I intend to go there often. The food is amazing! So tasty and the portions are big! There are so many different dishes and the prices are very decent. The service is very friendly and kind. The atmosphere is nice, nothing fancy, but cozy. I absolutely recommend this place, love it!

The variety of food on the menu is great. You can find many different kind of cuisine (Austrian, Indian, Polish) on there. We had the Pirogi, Sojafilet and the Schnitzel and were not disappointed. Of course the Schnitzel doesn't taste like the original but it's still good. The waitress is kind but slow. Bring some patients. Restaurant is close to a subway and Neubaugasse but still a bit away from all the business, so thats nice. I'm surely visit again.

Very disappointed from our visit today. The supposed vegan game ragout for over 13€ was three sad flat pieces of Saiten on simmered carrot n celery pieces. It was neither a ragout, nor was there anything resembling a taste of game (or much of flavor on general) A few green salad leafs cost me another nearly 4€. However the dumpling that came with it was good. I ordered a drink, Aperol Spritz, but they didn't have any ice (I asked), so after the first 10 minutes it was not really enjoyable any more. Such a shame, I had really high hopes for a vegan restaurant that serves traditional cuisine, but I don't think I'd come back here.

Great to have a veggie option, though I didn't particularly like the taste of my meal. I had the schnitzel. But my mate had a different dish that was really really nice. The service was great and the place has a good vibe.

Amazing vegan versions of classic dishes! The oyster mushrooms and cordon bleu were especially excellent. Would highly recommend the house kombucha and the tartar sauce. Vegan heaven!

Best meal I had in a while... The seitan schnitzel was just dreamy, too good to be true and now every other schnitzel will be pointless! The wild "meat" ragout was good as well, but as much as the schnitzel. The waiter was pretty nice, even though she didn't speak English. Many more items on the menu that sounded great. Looking forward to being back in Vienna and coming here again.

Wonderful service and food. Plenty of seasonal drinks and regular drinks to choose from. The vegan schnitzel was 12/10 😇but the potato’s were a little undercooked. Please bake the potatoes. I would visit next time and hopefully get rice if the potatoes are the same.

Another great addition to Vienna's incredible vegan scene! The Cordon-Bleu and perogies exceeded my expectations. Both were huge portions at a fair price. Definitely recommend!

Really nice waitress, but the food is average at best 😅 I was so excited to try the vegan schnitzel, but it wasn’t great unfortunately. The avocado salad and house lemonade were ok

I received the food in the bag and it wasn't sealed properly so half the food fell in the bag and they also forgot my drink. When I called i at least expected an apology , but instead the person on the phone refused to take responsibility "it was the driver's fault" and told me I should call the next day if I want my drink 😂 By far the least friendly staff I had the displeasure to order from. Avoid at all costs!

(Translated by Google) Unfortunately I cannot agree with the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, I find the ambience terrible, looks like a hoard. The food was good, however the service was unfortunately not friendly and, although we were a large group, we only asked once what we wanted and then it was gone for the rest of the evening. We would certainly have ordered a lot more drinks and desserts. I will not visit this place again.

(Translated by Google) Boring, slow and musty. Too few service staff, but they try very hard. The dishes are partly delicious, but carelessly presented. The potatoes didn't taste fresh, and the parsley was also a bit older. The salad dressing 08/15. The interior is pretty dusty, it smells musty. The decoration comes partly from nature, you should also do it yourself. Flies circled around us.

Waitress was very friendly and the menu read like it was going to be a tasty meal. I ordered the venison ragu and my partner ordered the cordon bleu. Both dishes lacked any distinct flavour, mine was definitely not a "ragu". My partners cordon bleu was particularly flavourless. I urge the chefs/cooks to go through their menu and taste everything and see if they still like what they are serving 😊

I love the food but it might be a bit on the salty side for most people. It's very traditional Austrian tasting food and all of the people I brought here liked it too, even the meat eaters who never tried seitan before. Great place for vegans and vegetarians, and everyone else too

Very yummy, very Austrian kind of dishes. You can't really go wrong with any of them, but personally i liked the Gordon Bleu the most. It wasn't too full, we were able to walk in without reservation on a weekday evening.

Cordon Bleu Landia was great. Only a bit fatty inside. I missed Kartoffelsalat on the side and Preiselbeeren.. would be great if they come up with these additions. The potatoes with parsley were not special. Sauce seemed to be made with mayo. I’d prefer a more traditional sauce. Seitan Schnitzel was good, the texture was more chewy and dense than cordon blue, I prefered the cordon blue due to fibery texture and cheese&mushroom addition. Overall not very cheap, medium price range. There’s seating outside too. Nothing too fancy, basic place. Everything is vegan or vegetarian. Cash payment only.

Traditional meals in vegan/veggie format. Recommended. Personally, I was never into burgers, with fries etc. Here, you will get the real stuff. The "Venison" with dumplings is a killer!!

I went to this restaurant because it was one of the recommended options to eat a vegetarian (Wiener) schnitzel. The food was tasty and I had a nice beer with it as well. No card payments possible, but they mention this outside the restaurant. Ordering food and receiving this was fast, but I also came at a very quite moment.

This is the place to go for vegan food in Vienna! We ate at several vegan restaurants in the city and this one was definitely our best. There are a lot of vegetarian/vegan options which taste amazing. It’s super cool how they transformed Austrian meat-dishes into vegan meals (which taste even better than the meat dish). The restaurant is cozy and family owned for 15 years. Thank you!

Amazing to find a place that does a vegetarian/vegan take on traditional food. Schnitzel was 👌🏼 probably the best dish we had, pierogi and goulash were also really tasty. If you're looking to try local food and you're a vegetarian you need to come here! (the portion sizes are HUGE too!

Landia is one of Vienna's best vegetarian/vegan restaurants. Their cuisine is so innovative that you gotta love it even if you normally take to the meat side of things. My recommendation is the vegan chicken, extra hot. Staff's always friendly and due to its popularity it might be wise to reserve a table ahead of time.

(Translated by Google) We were there for the 3rd day. Food very tasty. Shortly before we wanted to go, the waitress went to the toilet with blue gloves. Came out, cleared the table with the same gloves, and served food. When asked about it, she said she had two pairs. However, I asked her that she didn't move any. Just an embarrassed smile. Went to the cook and told him, he looked over at us pejoratively and didn't even greet when we left. Disgusting and then behave as if the guest made a mistake. ??? (Original) Wir waren heute zu 3. dort essen. Essen sehr lecker. ???

So the landia restaurant is the perfect place if you are looking for some austrian home food. The staff is friendly and the food well prepared. I was a bit annoyed by the smell that came from the kitchen. It is a typical viennesse "beissl". I can only recommend visiting place at least once if you are a vegan/vegetarian living in vienna.

No one greeted or sat us when we came in, so we sat ourselves. After sitting for 10 minutes without being greeted, the blonde mousey looking waitress rolled her eyes at us when we asked for a couple more minutes to look at the menu. She asked us if we wanted drinks and she seemed annoyed we asked for water. After deciding we didn’t want to eat there anymore we were on our way out and she asked if we weren’t eating and we said no. Then she rudely scoffed and told us we had to pay for the tap water. We didn’t know that we had to and she again rudely said of course we do. So we paid, and on our way out she sarcastically said thank you have a good day. Awful experience, all the other reviews regarding the service is true. Do yourself a favor and visit Reformhaus only a hundred feet away for a good veggie meal.
