I recently dined at this restaurant, and my experience was a bit mixed. The Barg dish had an unpleasant smell, and the rice didn't meet my expectations. However, the Koobideh was good. On the other hand, the Dishe Irani was terrible, and I strongly advise against ordering it. The Kooko Sabzi, Dolme, and Mirza Ghasemi were mediocre, but the Kashke Bademjoon was a pleasant surprise. Only one of the staff members displayed friendliness, yet regrettably, the manager's behavior fell short of being respectful. In my opinion, the overall reviews of this place appear to be exaggerated!

One of the best Persian restaurants indeed that I have experienced in the Europe! The food quality and taste is really good, the prices are very moderate and resonable, the place is super cozy and spacious, you could sit inside or outside, the staff are very friendly, polite and hospitable. The menu is diverse and they offer many different Persian cuisines. If you want to tast Persian food, I definitely recommend it

This is a good place with good food but looking at other reviews there is some exaggeration calling it best Iranian food in Europe. The staff are fantastic. The food is above average which is good considering the reasonable prices. They serve nice small salad with main orders. The ash reshtah soup was huge and we shared it (3 people). The kebab was very good and the portion was generous.

4.5 star for the food, 0.5 a star additionally for the wonderfully warm host. We tried three dishes, two of which were their most popular dishes which are a combination of aromatic rice served with a portion of chicken/beef skewers along with a side of grilled vegetables (a tomato & a chilly) with some pickles. The third dish was again a portion of rice served with a preparation of beef, lentils, roasted aubergine and the classical Persian sun-dried lemon. All the dishes were delectable, well cooked, the beef literally breaking away to touch and while not overly spicy, packed with flavour. Lovely Persian decor in the restaurant, a very warm & helpful host, make for a worthwhile visit, in fact a must-visit for Halal food in Vienna.

Probably the finnest cuisine i have eaten in long time. Fresh food with beautiful aroma. Served on time. The interior of the restaurant depicts Irani culture. You can reach by U4 and this place has no private parking so you lay have to find it in the street

Best Persian food I’ve ever had outside of Iran. But to me a good restaurant is not just the one with good food, it’s about the whole experience and the staff in Apadana are super kind and friendly. Definitely a night to remember!

If you want to experience a real taste of Iranian food, this restaurant is great choice. The food tastes the same as the best restaurants in Iran. The prices are very reasonable. And the most important thing is that all the staff are so nice and friendly, willing to help you if you do not know the food. Just a tip, in case you visited Apadana, do not forget to try the Iranian ice cream. I am looking forward to visit Vienna and eat there one more time 😊

The staff were not very friendly. Not a single smile. They tolerated us at best. Perhaps because we were a large group with many kids? Or maybe because we didn't make a reservation? Anyway they catered for all 12 of us within 5-10 minutes as we waited outside. We ordered one large platter and some lamb chops and a variety of drinks. The food was tasty. The restaurant is rather nice.

The food was very good overall and we especially liked the kebab and the saffron ice cream. However, the service was very slow and took them around 40 minutes to bring the main dishes. But what was even more upsetting is that they charged us for things we didn’t order! I ordered 1 pomegranate juice and they charged us for two, claiming I ordered a large one. They charged us for the bread although we didn’t order it. This is CHEATING and you should learn how to treat your guests with care and honesty. Oh by the way they also charged us around 7.5 euros for this great service!

Dizi was not original Persian Dizi! It has kind of spice that it was not suitable for it! Baghalipolo and lamb were good and zeytoonparvarde was so sweet!! The staffs were professional and the restaurant has Persian vibes!

I absolutely love this restaurant in Vienna on the list of my favorite restaurants. The food, especially the Chicken skewer and Kabab (beef skewer) is consistently delicious. The staff is always friendly and kind, creating a pleasant dining experience. The Persian atmosphere adds a unique touch, making it a must-visit on my list of favorite restaurants. Once you try the food, you'll keep coming back for more!

I usually don’t write reviews but the experience at Apadana was incredible and they deserve it. Absolutely delicious meal we had. Usually people eye you when two people gets one dish but the waiter, the owner at the bar were so friendly and helpful. We wanted to cover as many restaurants as we could so didn’t order too many things but this restaurant deserved another visit. Definitely the next time we visit Vienna! Anyways the lamb kebab was juicy and tender. The rice cooked perfectly and the drink and salad served were very refreshing! Probably the best restaurant experience we had in Vienna. Keep up the good work !

Stopped in for supper and had the Traditional Persian soup and the lamb cutlets with salad. The salad was fresh with a refreshing and appetizing dressing. The soup was unique and very hearty and satisfying. The cutlets were fresh, nicely spiced and delicious. Loved all dishes and highly recommended. Staff pleasant and attentive rounding out a perfect visit. Highly recommend!

I love Persian food but didn't have a wonderful experience in this place, and that's because i ordered "fasengan" chicken stew, which i know well, anyways the chicken meat was brownish, looked like it has been cooked for couple days and it didn't taste fresh, on the other hand the kebabs were good, and the chicken kebab was good too. So when the owner came and asked how did we found the food, i told him it was good except for this stew, and his reply was "probably you don't know what's fesengan" – he didn't even apologize or took our feedback into consideration and got defensive. I found that very rude, and I would never go there again.

Amazing. We tried all kinds of stews they had in the menu plus their "kubide kebob" and the Persian appetizer dish. They all taste authentic and amazing. The staffs were nice and well-mannered. Highly recommend. Pro tip: try Barley soup with lemon juice

The food was great, fresh and well cooked. Seasoning was on the milder side (too mild for my taste) but the have a sumac shaker on each table which is always a good addition! The thing that made this meal unique was their persian safran ice cream and persian coffee which were just so unique and delicious. I might come back here only for those!

authentic persian restaurant, food was served quickly, service kind as well, just the main courses were not served very hot and therefore quickly less “tasteful”, wine was not good as well(red wine was served too warm)

Can’t describe how great the food is. Gheimeh, Sabzi, and Bamieh, all very delicious and authentic Iranian food, great portion and reasonable price. Lentil soup is one of the best I tried in my life. Sad I only had the chance to visit it once, a must-try if you are in Vienna.

I ordered the kababs, and overall the taste, the quality and quantity was fine but I guess it's expensive than what I think it should be. But anyways, the atmosphere and the food is good.

Prepare to be amazed by the Persian Kabab Soltani and Kobideh. The tender, flavorful meats grilled to perfection, accompanied by fragrant rice, create an unforgettable culinary experience that will transport your taste buds to the vibrant streets of Iran. A must-try!

Best Persian restaurant I've to in a very long time. The food is very tasty and fresh and as a Persian myself I can confirm that the taste is very similar to what you get in Iran. Also the staff are very helpful and friendly.

I think the taste was not as I expected. The tomato in the salad was a really big piece which could be chopped in a smaller size. The cinnamon in the dish was much that was needed. The rice, doogh, and atmosphere and waitresses were good.
