Great location and a Great Beef Burger with fries, i can not faulti it at all. At First i was not expecting something great but the burger i had was so delicious and thick i would not fault it. We were sitting out side on the patio on the Main road which i did not like as a lot of cars where just passimg buy so that s why its a 4 star, worth a visit

Do you ever get jealous of bars in movies where the vibe is good and the drinks are as exactly as you've imagined them. Pickwick's is that bar. An ex videostore turned bar this place says it's a British pub but surpasses that tittle. Excellent filling food, friendly international staff and drinks and cocktails that always go the extra mile to be as you thought they would be when you see them in movies and at cheap prices (the first real long Island Ive ever had and man is it strong!). With I could give it 6 stars. Most welcoming place in schwedenplatz.

Nice place, bookshop and pub, really cozy. They have interesting story about Pickwick, worth a visit.

Pickwick's is a very pleasant place to spend time with friends. The location is also nice. The bookshelves in the background, the music. The whole atmosphere is great. The one waitress named Jana did a good job, also gives good recommendations. The gin beer was nice. The only thing to criticize are the burgers because the meat is much too thick to bite into. So the meat would have to cut in half. Tasted good anyway! haha Glad to come there again and again.

Great for a quick bite or for reading a book or working with your laptop. Perfect atmosphere for it. Nice location, quite and friendly staff.

This is quite a unique place in my opinion. It is billed as a pub, but it is also a cafe, casual restaurant, and a library/reading room! All of this works perfectly. The staff were all really good and we're very friendly and efficient (as well as proficient at several languages). Good beers on tap, tasty food from the kitchen, small outdoor seating area for the daytime/early evening. Overall it's hard to beat Pickwicks. I would definitely return.

Friendly staff ,good pint(or 2) of killkenny . We didn't eat there but the food we saw came out of the kitchen looked amazing

Been going there every once in a while for a year now. It’s cozy and inviting, the music is good and the crowd loud but welcoming. It’s not a cheap student bar so dont expect the cocktails to be under 8€! All cocktails are pretty good, except for the sours (not bad, considering its a pub) Btw the pulled pork fries are absolutely out of this world. (11/10) It’s also prettymuch empty in the mornings so its great for brunch or studying/working. quickly became my favorite place

you might want to reconsider calling two drinks on the menu "black and tan" and "irish car bomb". especially if you‘re trying to pretend to be an irish pub. it‘s incredibly offensive and makes pickwick‘s look very unauthentic.

Very nice ambiance, picture 90s student pub filled with movie posters and old books you can buy if you like to rummage a bit. The bookstore/cafe is set on a quiet street, away from the touristy busy streets. Had a really nice and relaxing time.

It was a good pub that has many options (literally everything!). The place itself has a cute history as well.

The staff (especially Christine) are very friendly and helpful. The food is tasty and I love the milkshakes as well. The pub quiz on Mondays is always fun and you can win a 40€ voucher. A really great place to spend an evening with friends :)

Absolutely worst pub in Vienna. Staff were extremely rude. We were told its last call and proceeded to order a drink. The male bar man in particular was rude and obnoxious. He was on a complete power trip. This place is not welcoming and should be avoided at all costs!!! Much nicer places around (literally every other corner)

I love this place! I usually go there to study. Very calm and nice atmosphere. The people working there are always very friendly and everyone is speaking English. They also have many options for lunch or dinner. Many options for burger, toasts and my favourite fries! There are also many pre-owned books for sale in very low prices! One of my favourites :)

One of the best Bloody Mary's i've ever had!!! And super sweet and lovely Bartenders!!! A visit is a must!

My first impression: the waiter (maybe the boss) is not interested in having guests, ignoring me, unfriendly. Nevertheless I ordered sweet potato fries and a beer. The table was sticky and the fries not really fried. Not recommended. I give one star for the location and one star for the waitress.

One of the best places to visit in Vienna. Performance/price ratio is really good in comparison to other places around. Music is great and the inner atmosphere is a must see.

Very nice place to drink a cup of coffee in a nice and cosy place while working or studying. The staff is lovely and the golden latte was delicious 😍 Sweet potato fries where good, it’s a huge portion!! Would certainly go back to get some work done!

very cool english speaking bar. it gets rather crowded though so it is hard to move around and the line for the bar gets quite long. this place is great for sitting and talking. food is good as well as the drinks and creative menu

Had two great evenings in Pickwick's during our visit from the UK. Place has a warm, trendy atmosphere, and tasty drinks at very fair prices! Staff were also lovely - huge thanks to our American friend who sourced me a phone charger during a time of need! Will definitely come back again next time we're in Wien!

We were waiting for our order (cocktails) for 40 minutes! Though the atmosphere is nice, the service is awful. Don’t recommend to anybody

During the day- 4 stars. At night- 2. It is too loud to talk and the sound isn't even good so it's just loud noise. The chicken strips were so good--- but the fries were squishy and cold. The wait staff is too busy and not particularly friendly in the evening. It is a good place to go in the first district anyway, because the prices are very reasonable.

Fine place, pricy and (as it often is in Austria) they don't serve any food late in the evening which is quite annoying. Lived here for a year, love it, but still don't know why here people think everyone should stick to the same eating/sleeping schedule. Probably not this place's fault though, so didn't deduct stars for that

Try to con you in not putting alcohol in the mixers in that people are either to daft or drunk not to notice..total disgrace in robbing their customers.

Really nice place, good atmosphere (young and cool), drinks are good. The combination of bar and video store is fun, but doesn't feel natural.

I just stumbled across this place while walking around Vienna. I must say it is fantastic. The atmosphere is wonderful and for a beer, food and book lover there couldn't be a better place. The music playing is awesome and the staff are very friendly. This is a highly recommended place. I would say it is my favorite pub in Vienna!
