👍👍 Tasty cocktails in an amazing environment, and the service was top level. The cocktails were creative and the portions were generous. A perfect venue for a romantic date, or simply a casual chat with some friends. The indoor decor is elegant and it provides a calm feeling. Nice place to visit. You're going to need to book here unless you're a solo. Drinks are pretty good and the space is just delightful

What started out as a lovely evening ended in a huge disappointment. My friend and I joined 3 other friends around 7.30pm at the blue bar for a drink. Amongst these friends was a couple who comes to the blue bar on a regular base and consumes very well. We sat at the bar since all the tables were occupied or reserved. Around 8.30pm the bartender offered us two tables which we gratefully accepted since some of us were eating as well and another friend joined. Around 9.15pm the bar was almost empty except for our tables and another table to our left. There also seemed to be a shift change and another waiter arrived, who knows the couple very well. He mentioned that Anna Netrebko was performing at the State opera, and they’d expect the bar to get very crowded around 10pm. We ordered another bottle of champaign, the 4th bottle by that time. The waiter returned without our bottle telling us we would have to move to another room in the back if we wanted to have another champaign since all the tables in the blue bar were reserved from 10pm. We were disappointed and felt insulted, so we asked for the check. Another waiter came and I asked him why no one had told us before we sat down at the table and started ordering bottle after bottle that we would have to leave around 10pm. His answer was literally that since we arrived at 6pm (which is not correct, our friends arrived at 7pm) they thought we’d be gone by 10pm. I don’t have to explain how wrong his reply was on all levels. Whatever the reasons, there is no way you can treat your customers like this, there is a better way to handle it, especially in one of Vienna’s top hotel bars.

Enjoyed a pre drinking before a birthday celebration dinner. First the decoration of this quite little bar is just absolutely stunning, and they managed to keep a very cozy atmosphere. The staff were particularly nice and even bring us a piece of their world famous cake for free. We just loved every minute there, do not change a thing. Cheers

If only they didn’t serve the schnitzel… The blaue bar almost rhymed with perfect elegance: central location, dress-code policy, delicious style, classical music, and great cocktails. Until the faux pas. Almost comical: refusing short-pants but serving schnitzel on demand. For those who can’t bear a Schnitzel-free evening, there are a number of Heurigers to be found in the city. But 15eu cocktail at Blaue Bar is a bit much for the enduring smell of fried meat. As they say, schade. 🥩🍸 S&V

Skip the queue at the Sacher Café for this sophisticated atmosphere with cool music playing in the background.

Beautiful cocktail lounge in the hotel sacher. Great cocktails in an intimate setting with great service. Also a secret you should know if you go there for cocktails you can also order a few of their amazing deserts at the bar without waiting in the Long lines. A Sacher torte handmade apple strudel and more.

Very small but opulent little bar in the Sacher Hotel. Good drinks, great bar snacks (the cous cous was enjoyable and the tartare was amazing) well trained staff. Very limited space so best to book ahead.

A quaint little bar inside the Sacher Hotel (fancy!). Definitely make reservations as there are only a few tables available

I was a regular customer during my time in Vienna and I simply love the place. The bar has a classy and sophisticated atmosphere, with plush seating, historic design and beautiful lighting. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making recommendations and providing top-notch service. They also have an impressive selection of wine and champagne, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion or a romantic date.

Amazing place with great cocktails, good food and a very special atmosphere. We loved it there and went there 2 nights in a row. I suggest making a reservation in advance.

Tasty cocktails in an amazing environment, and the staff were friendly and welcoming . The indoor decor is elegant but do not expect a large space. Maybe there is 6 tables in total. 🤗

This is a fantastic little hotel lobby cocktail bar. I spent a few hours here on a recent trip to Vienna and really enjoyed it. Sat up at the bar and had a couple of excellent gin martinis. The service was great and it had a real cozy vibe about it. Would be a great date spot for the locals.

Lovely, cosy decor suitable for dates or drinks before dinner. The staff is friendly and ready to serve your needs! Cocktails are amazing! The waiter suggested that we can keep the reseved table only if we order cocktails (a bit arrogant and presumptiuos. I mean why can't we order whatever we wish from the menu?!) Skip the famous (?!) Sachertorte since it is at most average (chocolate frosting has no taste, the filling and dough is hard and unfulfilling! I have eaten better mass produced wrapped cackes than this famous 😂 cake!)

A gem of a place in busy and loud Vienna. Quiet place with attentive staff, it was an amazing experience for both me and my partner! The wine selection is absolutely wonderful!

Really really luxuriously magical. Dripping with finery and elegance, over the top interiors, but really well balanced drinks, refined taste- even for classics. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

Fantastic, super-chic bar with brilliant service - and great food! We went for an early supper and drink before the opera and loved it. Delicious salads, delicious Sachertorte, and really great waiters. Thank you.

Unique ambience. If there is room for improvement it's the choice of music and the fact that, IMHO, the lights are too bright.

really nice ambience. Perfect place to have a drink. You can even get a portion of Sachertorte, sparing yourself the gigantic queue in the Cafe Sacher just outside

We were told we could go in and have some Original Sucher Torte, but were denied entry, because supposedly, they were fully booked. The waiter kindly referred us the cafe outside of the hotel. I'm guessing the didn't like the fact that regular tourists were trying to get in an avoid the line outside. Luckily, there wasn't that huge a line outside after all, and the torte was excellent.

Beautiful bar. Pretty expensive, but coming here is a unique experience. Very cozy to enjoy drinks in after the opera. However, you should reserve a table in this case, as it fills up very quickly after Opera performances on the weekends.

My review is for the Hotel Lobby. Service was a bit shabby. The suggested red wine was good though.

Not clean, nuts left on the floor and sofa. Servant didn’t clean the table so we cleaned by ourselves… finally the drinks didn’t attract me..

😐 The pizza was so good! I’d definitely recommend the place for the people around the area. The atmosphere and the waitress were too nice. The only negative thing about it was the waiting time for someone to come and take my order, and again for someone to bring me the check.
