Lovely place with great atmosphere for brunch and late evening drinks and dinner. The salmon tartar was amazing, as well as the mushrooms and gnocchi seasonal plate. There is a DJ in the evenings

Very bad treatment. We joined our parents who were already sitting on a table for 3, but we were 5 so there was not enough place. While we stood there, two guys sitting on a big enough table offered nicely to switch places with us. The waitress claimed it was a very difficult task and basically left us no choice but to leave, we asked for the check, she replied “ok, good”, as if that was her goal from the beginning. This was after we clarified that the remaining time for their table (30min) is more than enough for us and that we would leave when it ends, so that she would not have to reseat us twice. Very rude, unprofessional, not recommended!

Very nice location and a beautifully decorated spacious bar/restaurant. The terrace is very nice too. Young and hip audience, I would call Spelunke upscale. The waiters are friendly, the menu is interesting with plenty of meat, fish and vegetarian options and the food is good, not great. A live DJ adds to the atmosphere. Nice place to go and have a pleasant night out!

Really amazing burger! You will pay a high price for it but once you take your first bite you'll know it's worth it. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere, bar, decor is hip and cool as well. Be prepared for the 4€ cover charge too btw

The interior is nice. But it’s still a restaurant and it fails in all other regards. Too pricey for what you get. Nothing extraordinary. Avoid definitely when vegan. For vegetarians they have a parmigiana which is not that big not that good just ok but costs more than 18€. For vegans they have a risotto. Similarly priced. What a joke. Also loud and noisy. Service not that good for that price range.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is pretty nice. And servic was also okey, no complaints here. The food on the otherside was average and mostly tasteless. I tried the fallafel and they clearly where missing herbs inside so I cant recomend them at all. Buffalo Mozarella was also nothing special. I also ordered a filet steak and it was pretty dry but eatable. I also saw that they have Japanese Wagyu A5 on the menu and I asked to see it and it did not really look like real japanese Wagyu but I wanted to give it a chance so I ordered 100g for 80€. The served wagyu was absolutely disapointing because other than with wagyu normaly, the fat should be evenly distributed in the meat, this here was a chunk of fat with a little bit of meat. Total rip off. For desert I had the vanilla parfeit and here again it was a very average tasting dish at best. So nice location but average food.

This has been my first time at this place, but definitely not the last. The reception was very pleasant, which makes me feel welcome. This has a very important meaning for me.Adding very efficient service, excellent tasting food and a very pleasant atmosphere, I was definitely very pleased to have been visiting this place.

Such as wonderful place ! Atmosphere was incredible 😍 service as well ! I recommended to book your table before you go , we didn't but they let us sit for one hour. And after one hour someone was cancelled reservation and we can stay and enjoy! Amazing music , menu ! Highly recommended! Thank you so much 🙏

Wow, what an amazing restaurant! Went here for lunch two years ago (great already) but the dinner experience today was something quite different! When we entered, I thought the music was too intense for dinner but in the end it was just a really cool vibe resulting from the combination of a good lighting concept, some nice beats and an exceptional style with all their decoration! Oh, and last but not least both food and service were just on point. Certainly on the rather pricey side but worth every single euro.

Wonderful. The drinks are on point, the food is also delicious. We had steak and baby potatoes plus a few cocktails. Mouthwatering. The atmosphere is very modern. What impressed me the most was the care and politeness of the bartenders. They really made us feel at home! Loved it. Any other time.

Food was not really good and too expensive. I had lamb skewer with pomegranate salad. Lamb was absolutely dry and the salad unflavoured. But the service was excellent and the wine was good.

Very good quality food, nice atmosphere and friendly, professional service. Live band during the brunch is a plus as well. The only minus are the prices - we find it overpriced for the portions you are getting (e.g.14,50€ for the salad which didn’t even come with the bread).

I reserved a table for new year eve, although the quality of food and drinks was good, the service was awful, and definitely it was not the staffs mistake, it was the manager’s mistake to in-charge a person for so many table in that crowded night. Not only our orders were not complete, but also they served all of our drinks, cocktails and main food together (I asked the waiter several times to not do that) By the way, if you have plan to go there in special nights, definitely change your place to somewhere else, people there, are not able to manage it as you expect according to what you pay for.

I want to start with positive points, drinks and all cocktails were amazing, I love them. But, there is a big BUT for the service, they brought our service wrong and they didn’t care that we ordered first starter then cocktail then main dish, they brought all together and also wrong. We ordered potatoes with onions on it and they forgot to add onions. All in all I don’t have a nice experience here.

I ordered a ribeye and got a whitish, very pork-like meat. I confronted them with the issue and all I got was that their steaks are whitish... Pretty loud in the restaurant. Despite good, old experiences, this time the service and the food were very low, especially since the beef was most likely pork....

Went with a few friends last night. Really great classy vibes and the food was excellent. I got the spinach gnocchi and I highly recommend it! However, our service wasn’t the best. I asked for water and I was given a carafe. When I went to pour it into my glass, I got burnt! It was boiling! Also I only ordered the pasta which was €16, but I was charged €26. When I said there may be a mistake, the server told me it was a cover fee? But none of my other friends were charged more than what they paid. As a student on a budget, this meal was already a splurge for me and the extra €10 that I hadn’t budgeted for the meal was deeply distressing. Great atmosphere and food, but if you don’t want to get charged for more than what you can pay I’d steer clear of this place!

Our visit to Spelunke was less than satisfying.The ambiance of the place is pleasant, and I'd suggest requesting a table near the window for a better experience. In terms of food, the overall taste was enjoyable. However, my appetizer, the grilled vegan celeriac, was a letdown. It was served cold and tasted quite average, which was disappointing. On a brighter note, the main course, which was fish, proved to be good. The most frustrating aspect of our dining experience was the lengthy wait times. There was a significant delay, with a 30-minute gap between the appetizer and the main course, which considerably detracted from our enjoyment of the meal.

That was such a nice brunch! Big and very delicious portions. We especially enjoyed summer terrace 😊

Wonderful food, great place and super attentive staff. They saw that I could not speak fluently german and brought me the english menú. Food was cooked to perfection and wine it s just fantastic!

I had dinner yesterday at this place, got food poisoning after eating veal cheeks and spent the night vomiting and with diarrhea. As a result my trip to Christmas Vienna ends sooner than expected. Ambient and service were ok. Prices are too high, especially for what they offer.

We came for a late lunch and we were in luck the place was nearly empty. Service was quite efficient, our waiter Daniel was very nice and recommended a cocktail that was really good. The food was amazing: lentil soup, chili hummus, schnitzel and a burger - finishing with a lemon tarte. Decoration is quite unique and different - worth visiting.

We had great time with friends thanks to amazing service and delicious cocktails ! Thank you Sacha² for drinks, good advises and fun ! We'll come back for sure next time we will travel to Vienna.

Spelunke is highly popular with locals and tourists. You may need to make a reservation. They have outside seating during the summer. Be aware that being situated on a busy street, it can be quite noisy. Waiters are polite, but the service can be a bit slow. The food was tasty, however we had to pay for the bread and spouses which were brought to the table and we assumed it was a compliment. Worth trying.

Went to dinner at Spelunke, food was tasty but the service was outstanding. The waitress and team were very attentive, offered us helpful recommendations, and prompted us to move from an outdoor table to a window table a few minutes before it started raining. Particularly enjoyed the desserts- the cheese curds and chocolate mousse were delicious. The decor is also quite fun and inventive (although the bathroom is a bit - purposely - scary)

We had a Business dinner there and the restaurant was setting a perfect scene for a relaxed conversation with good food and drinks. The staff is super guest oriented and fast with the service. We really enjoyed the stay and will certainly come back.

The food is great. The service really does their best to make this a special place. Sadly there is something missing to make this a truly great experience. I hope they will find a matching concept to be more appealing. Live music for the Sunday brunch is a great idea. But a brunch without some accompanying cocktails is not doing it for me, especially for those prices.

Great service and great food. A little on the pricey side though. If you love fish, this is one of the best places in Vienna. Also the merci cherry no sugar lemonade thingy was delicious.

Very nice restaurant/bar in the downtown of beautiful Vienna. Nicely decorated interior. The menu is extended with wide variety of drinks and meals. Very friendly service. The price matches the quality of the place. Parking is possible in the next building under Sofitel.

A great place for upscale lunch, as it’s very large and empty at that time. Gets crowded towards the evening, and for good reason. It’s a bit on the expensive side, as it’s in a popular business spot, but the quality of both service and dishes make up for it. Portion sizes are, however, as others pointed out, rather small. Don’t come here starved, and you’ll leave happily satisfied. The mushroom cream soup was tasty and very satisfying, the filet steak definitely okay. Pepper sauce is lacking in flavour. Desserts are plentiful in both variety and flavour. Overall a very pleasing dining experience.
