Cafe

😐 My experience on a Friday afternoon was not so good. The staff atbthe cashier was a bit rude. We ordered a verlängerter and a cafe latte and both were not good at all. The prices however are ok. The location is really good and they also have a cool indoor area. Its definitely one was the nice places... People often mention good, nice,

A very nice place facing the river, but the preparation of the cocktail I had decided to take, a gin and tonic was not well calibrated ... maybe he had forgotten to pour the gin. I do not recommend it.

Usually crowded when it’s nice weather, and for good reason - a great place to be in Vienna in Spring, you’ll get a surprising amount of beer and wine and other alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages at this bar right at the Danube. Lately there’s even a food stand available. Prices are on par for the Donaukanal area, you won’t have to wait too long to get a drink and there’s many seating options available - even inside, for when the weather’s not playing nice for once.

Really great place to sit and drink coffee, cocktail by the river. The downside is that you cannot pay with the card.

Really nice spot to sit alongside the Donaukanal. The only canal "beach bar" to stay open most of the cold months. Large deck outside, covered and glassed-in areas for when it rains. Serves beer, wine, etc., as well as (J. "Charcoal" Hornig) coffee and some simple foods. Sometimes food carts set up here in the summer. Gets really busy on nice summer days from about 5 pm till just after sundown.

A really warm and friendly place with an ok selection of drinks. The staff was friendly and the igloo like shape gives you an interesting view of the canal.

So nice place! Sunny evening, relax and aperol, Danube near. We sit not long, may be 1,5 hours. People walked. We took big sandwich and it was great! Just sit, drink, observe the world around!

Even after the clear-cutting, it is still the coziest corner in the whole area. Very relaxed, lovely people, great staff. The living room by the canal, where else would you want to sit down?

Excellent place to chillax and relax. It opens in April till the end of summer. It serves good 🍺 beers and small food and even 🍔 burgers. It's on the sunny side of the Donau channel, so the sun is shinning on most part of the day. They have sandy beach like an ambience, with beach chairs, where you can sit and enjoy the small ferries that sail by😃

Great place! Really cosy and warm with a fantastic view out onto the canal. We visited in January with snow on the ground just as they were closing. The owner kept the place open for us and came over for a chat. Would give 6 stars if I could! :)

A cozy restaurant right on the water. You can enjoy the atmosphere in comfortable lounge chairs. The service is friendly and the prices are fair! I can recommend it to everyone!

I was only in the toilet to wash my hands, so I can't give a qualified opinion on the food, service and ambience. In any case, the washbasin had a simple, functional design and its functionality was impeccable. A tap was available for hand washing, which was easy and intuitive to use and ensured that the desired amount of water flowed through. A bottle of dishwashing liquid was available for additional care. The now cleaned hands were dried using a towel that was hung on the toilet door. I can fully recommend this restaurant for fans of hand hygiene and would be happy to come back myself.

A very cool place for the summer but even more in the winter, thanks to its awesome glass house

One of the best terraces in Vienna, with great view and good selection of drinks.

I'm leaving a 1-star review because the bartender sneakingly raised my bill by almost 40 percent without informing me or asking for a tip.

Very good location, Tasteless Aperol spritzer, very bad bartender. The long hair bartender is very rude. He thinks card payment is a scam but as you can see some reviews here, he becomes a scammer if you try to pay with cash. He looked very stressed even though the bar isn’t very busy and told us to get bottled beer instead of beer on tap because he’s “busy”, but if he’s not capable of serving just 2 glasses of beer, perhaps they should hire someone else.
