7:20pm shift Thursday May 19,2022. I tried to get a salad with prawns from this place and I was first in line and this Salad worker refused to serve me. He looked me straight in the eyes and kept serving other people beside me. When it was finally my turn (he finally acknowledged me) I told him what I wanted and he then turned to do someone else’s take away order. Very unprofessional service. I’m hoping that this has nothing to do with my ethnic background.

As soon as we entered, we were greeted with a not so caring staff, that didnt offer us an explanation on how to order (this was needed, since the restaurant has a very confusing and chaotic system to order). When we figured it out, I ordered my dish and the cook made it clear, that he accepted my order. 15 minutes later he still hasnt started to cook my order and was doing other costumers dishes, who ordered after me. Then he redirected me to another cook, who seemed to be confused by my presence. Then another 15 minutes later, he redirected me back to the previous cook and then called me once again to finally order even tho I ordered already (which went ignored). The staff is clearly unorganized and are in desperate need of a new system. Side note: The pasta here is very bad and overpriced for what it is as well. Not filling. And they used the wrong ingredients. Will not be coming back. This for sure.

I’ve been a regular at Vienna’s Vapiano stores since 2009 and I still keep coming back. My go to dish is the Gambretti e Spinachi pasta with fusilli and it’s always amazing! There can sometimes be a bit of variation in the overall cooking depending on the store and chef but it’s hard to fault as it’s good on price and always fresh. I do miss the gummy bears as you exit though!

FROZEN LASAGNA 🥶not good, maybe if you are really hungry and have some condiments on you you can eat it. So if you don’t want to waste money, this is not your choice.

Very nice place to be anytime of the day. Pizza is nice, Pasta is fresh and they make their own noodles. Coffee/Tiramisu is a must for me! I come here often and was never disappointed. we love to come here with the family!

This site is very well located in a shopping center. It has two floors and an elevator to facilitate the movement of people with difficulties. There were many people and it is not surprising, a pasta dish for 8-12 euros well prepared and with the ingredients you want to add. The pizzas are delicious too. I haven't tried the appetizers yet. Be careful☝💡 with drinks because they are expensive. Very spacious and pleasant atmosphere, correct workers and good service. Highly recommended. Will come back soon.

By far the worse gluten free pizza I have ever had- and I have had some bad ones. I ordered the Buffala gluten free pizza. After waiting for a while It was finally ready. What a disappointment! The dough itself is chewy, hard, clearly previously frozen, just awful and to make things worse, the buffala cheese is a big blob in the middle and it was COLD. Not worm or room temperature… it was COLD! Like from the refrigerator straight in the pizza. I was not able to eat it! I walked out, paid and will never be back! Run!!

Very nice place - good Italian food and lovely & helpful staff! Especially enjoyed the balcony on the upper floor. I regularly come back and they always deliver.

The ambience of the restaurant was immediately noticed as soon as you walk in which was quite comfortable and spacious, the restaurant itself has two floors and an amazing pseudo-self-serving/customisation bar for Pizzas and Pastas, I got the mushroom Pasta with cheese and it was very well done as the mushroom was very fresh and the pasta was well cooked along with that was the spicy olive oil they provide at the table which definitely is worth a try, this is a 10/10 must try for tourists as nothing can go wrong with Italian food!

I ate salami and capriciosa pizza. the cake in both was delicious. minus for the quality of the ham - it tasted like from a can. Cool atmosphere, great option of loading cards. very nice service.

Nice concept of the reataurant. I ate some penne, but were a bit raw for my taste. Wine good.

This place was better than I expected! They have a variety of pizzas and pastas, including many vegetarian and vegan options. We had two different vegetarian pizzas, both were so tasty. It was not too expensive either (~12€ per pizza). The environment in there is so modern and nice, I would actually expect the restaurant to be more expensive than it actually was. Also the self service system is nice, they give you a card and upload your orders onto it, and you just pay using that card on your way out. Though we were a bit confused about how to order at first to be honest.

Food is delicious. Good atmosphere.. Recommended for Italian cuisine. Since there is self service I can't give full stars for service but the staff are really polite and helpful..

Pasta is amazing! The bar tender was great. Just could use some improvement at the counters. People cut in front. Was busy so will cut a little slack.

Not the best food, but certainly a very nice place.

I've been tried here several times. The service is very unfriendly and awful. As I was eating, a cleaning male employee kept pacing around. He came to my table several times it was clean enough I was very uncomfortable eating. Why he came my table a lot? He didn’t even really clean it. He pretends to wipe. What he’s doing? And unfriendly staff when ordering food. Food is salty or not so tasty.

It was amazing. The bartender Uma was really helpful and sweet. Had amazing drinks and food. Definitely gonna go there again.

After a long time I decided to try Vapiano Wien Mitte again because last time I did not have a good experience but unfortunately I had a bad experience again, this time not with the service but the food. I have to reinforce that the service today (10/07/23) at lunch time was really good and kind, but you should definitely not do the training of new employees at lunch time and serve what they are cooking to your customers. As they are learning, mistakes are quite common and expected during this time, it’s not their fault. I did order the carbonara pasta with spaghetti , it was overcooked, completely no salt, no seasoning, it tasted really bad, I could not finish. I informed the staff at the payment moment and the 10% of discount was all that I received after such bad experience.

Lovely spacious italian restaurant. Caters for all diets including plant based diets. Food was great. Love their order process. Lovely decor and atmosphere. Would recommend.

Self-service food place with bearable food. The ambience is nice. The food is not tasty; not exciting; not special. Italian food place that makes Italian food boring and almost a torture to eat. Probably the least desirable pizza I’ve ever had in my life; same with spaghetti. It’s probably ok to fill up the stomach, but it’s a total no if you expect to enjoy the food.

The chef had over cooked the chicken pasta. Which ended up being burnt and dry. There was a sign for Happy Hour from 16:00till 19:00 buy one get one free however upon paying we were charged for both drinks. the cashier was rude and said we had to pay before 19:00 for the special. There is no mention on the advertising of this condition or anywhere else in the restaurant . Eventually we got a refund for it.

Decent spot. This is my second Vapiano visit, but it’s a lot more busy and the food isn’t as good as the other. Still well priced and good overall tho!

This restaurant has a great, modern ambience with delicious Italian food and friendly service. The food was freshly prepared in front of us. My wife ordered pasta with gambereti which was exceptional and I had chicken alfredo. Everything worked perfectly and quickly. We will definitely come back again!

Nope. Not worth it. Food had no flavor or seasoning (strange for Italian food). Pasta was watery, and pizza was ordinary. All of which can be fine, if the price tag was not so high.

The pizza was bad and he didn’t cut the pizza good as you can see in the picture and the cooking was so bad that even the cut didn’t slide through so I had to keep cutting it with my hands, and when I told the guy that served the food, he said cut yourself. Never coming back. it was the 7:56PM 11/11/2022 shift

Pizza one of the best I had in this year, Clerk at 8 to 9 hours was friendly and helpful, the man cleaning the tables was friendly and also knew Portuguese and French. Great place if you are new to Vienna and dont know German well.

Awful experience. I have been to Vapiano’s in the UK and USA many times but first time in Austria. The food was awful. I ordered the new pesto pasta and the chef gave me the complete wrong thing. Pasta wasn’t cooked, no salt, no nothing. Tasteless. Pizza was oily. The restaurant is also very dirty. Large cob webs in corners. Wouldn’t recommended and would advise the chefs are trained appropriately where needed.

Perfect Pizza and sugar free drinks, great italian coffee, what more do you need? 😊

Very poor service, we wanted to dine in there after someone calling this vb place “a fancy restaurant “. It is everything just not fancy. I CC pulsing understand the sistem of ordering with the card where to order etc however, when we go out we’re looking forward to enjoy the time, relax & be served which they made it impossible at this place , we felt like it was to much hassle to have a dinner there so we went somewhere else .

Food prepared too quickly, pizza and noodles mostly raw. Still, waiting for a long time im horrible, noisy queues. No service. All the disadvantages of a buffet but plus super long waiting times while standing and holding a tablet. Also, quite expensive, even disregarding the lack of any service.
