EPIC experience : from BAD to WORSE. Allergic people : READ it ! We are GLUTEN intolerant (cœliaque). We asked a server about the allergens, because there were a blanck next to one of the plate. He laughed at us, smirking... Saying that we had to read the menu And he left us with no answer. Okay... 😅 Nothing was written about the "dragon rolls" sushis (no allergen). So we ordered it and began to eat. But we saw breadcrumbs around the shrimps of the sushi !! GLUTEN ?! Maybe something is missing on the menu for this plate (all the others have their "allergen items") So we asked a second time, an other waiter, and he said, laughing : "yes ! There is gluten. Why? Are you okay, do you need an ambulance ?" He was laughing in our face 😶 I was sick during the whole night, I have red blotches on my body and my articulation have swolen. When you are intolerant, the reaction is not immediate, but gluten makes holes in the intestine in the following 48 hours... if an intolerant person eats a single crumb a day : he could have a cancer in a month !! There is WHEAT on the "dragon rolls", WRITE it !! MOREOVER : THE ICING ON THE CAKE : The waiter added 30€ to the addition ! 😯 He looked down on us when we said there might be an error... So embarrasing ! Beautiful and delicious plates.. (but correct the menu! We could have been allergic!!)

Walked in and was seated by the window :) Excellent staff, attentive but not pushy plus often smiling. Food was great, clean and tasty. Portions are perfect too.

This restaurant is not to be missed in Vienna. Japanese food primarily but with a modern twist. Plenty of drinks options too. Menu is ideal for sharing. We suggest pairing the food with a bottle of Sake. Walking distance from most central Vienna attractions.

Das Küchenpersonal ist beeindruckend. Asiatisches Essen wird hier von Menschen aus der ganzen Welt gemacht. Und es schmeckt sehr gut, zu gut sogar. They take care of your needs and are ready to answer your questions and give you the best answer according to their cuisine. It is better to go there at least in team of minium 2. Why? Because that’s how you can really enjoy the meals. The creations of this restaurants are inventions you do need to share live with someone. The toilets are clean, the staff is extremly polite and ready at each time to fulfill your needs.

We came in at noon without a reservation, there were no free tables inside, so we were sat in the garden which was great also. Honestly, every single dish we had was top notch, my personal favorites were the ceviche which sat on top this special melon sauce which was really special and beef tartare with the pickled onion that added a bit of a tang to it. The sushi and crispy prawns were great tasting also. The only downside which I can recall was the dessert. We ordered the chocolate mousse, it was fine. Nothing too special, I think the berries don't add any value to the dessert. Overall, we had a good time, and hope to come back!

One of the best restaurants in Vienna, no doubt about it. And even better, they’re lunch menu is definitely affordable (20.5-23.5€ for a 3 course meal). We felt that Mochi cared about our dining experience, it’s something that you sense from the design, the staff’s attitude, the music and up to the toilettes. We really enjoyed it, and encourage you to go there.

I absolutely adore Mochi! We had the best time here, the staff is super kind, friendly, and attentive! One of the best restaurants I have every visited and cannot wait to come again. The food is a super class, the tartar was out of this world and so was the sushi. Ten stars out of five! 🤍🤩

Good quality Japanese food with a fusion twist. Really impressed by the presentations and the tastes. The service staff was also friendly and helpful. It is cleaner and nicer than what one would expect from an izakaya. A great experience overall.

Great flavors, amazing dishes and top quality. We had the thai ceviche which was an absolute flavor bomb, miso soup, tori karage- fried chicken, fried prawns, sushi, sake salmon, and the mixed Kushiyaki. Drinks were delicious, especially my Shiso cocktail. It is unfortunate that our order got messed up several times, we received an extra fried chicken and some of the sushi never came out. Then our dessert was missing one more order of Mochi. I assume this happened due to poor communication between the waiters since more than 3 of them attended our table. The atmosphere was super cozy and we felt like in Japan for couple of hours since we had the private room.

The sushi was delicious. There are also several non-fish options (chicken, steak, veggie) that are also excellent.

The food great as always. We’ve had the Crispy prawns salad which is my all time favorite, the Spicy Thai ceviche which was also great and the signature sushi rolls: Dana and the Dragon, which should be mentioned is really the best. ☺️

The best sushi I have ever experienced. Dragon, spicy salmon, and all others. Sashimi and nigiri are also a good choice we loved them. Service is amazing, it was my boyfriend's birthday, and they made a surprise for him, very kind of them. Thank you for a special evening 🤞😍

Really good restaurant with traditional fusion food. Best sushi I have ever tried. It’s good that you can see how your food is being cooked. Makes the experience unique. The place is small so better make reservations and also for big parties it won’t be the best. But I believe they have separate rooms for bigger groups. The only thing that you can’t miss if you come to Mochi is their chocolate mousse. We ordered one for the table just to try and end up getting one more because some people didn’t even try it. That’s how good it is.

I came by early afternoon on a week day and outside was completely booked so I was seated inside. Service was very quick and friendly and I enjoyed the ambiance with the closeness to the kitchen (the music somewhat loud for my preference). I had a sashimi/sushi combo to start and the ribeye with rice main course, a couple of beers to drink. All very enjoyable and would go again if/when in Wien. Making a reservation might be a god idea in order not to be disappointed.

personally i love the food. some dishes are rather on the pricey side. service staff seem overwhelmed at times, forgetting orders. we were a table of 5 and had to constantly ask for more water because everytime we just got a 0,5 liter bottle. it is a lovely place for a dinner outside because the area is really pretty and romantic.

Menu created very good balance with variety of dishes, and some of dishes was a mix of Korean flavour dishes. All of the dishes' flavour direction was great, but it was quite weak taste.. example spicy salmon roll didn't have enough spicy sauce was mix with salmon, so roll was quite plain taste, also asparagus dish was very interesting but again taste was very weak. Overall, great food and service! It could be my personal opinion. If you haven't tried the restaurant, you should all try 😅

Great food quality, both taste and presentation. Fresh ingredients and friendly services. The chick yakitori was tender and juicy. Teriyaki beef had great mixture of corn and sushi rice. One of the best Japanese restaurant in Vienna

I personally think this restaurant is a little over-rated, but I agree that the food here tastes good and everything is plated beautifully. Although they provide mostly Japanese cuisine, everything is western-style, so if you are looking for authentic, this restaurant may not exactly be for you 😅 It was overall a pleasant experience though :)

The food is really good, all the sushi sets were really well prepared and delicious. The place is nice , stylish and the waiters are friendly. English speaker friendly and you should book a table. A bit pricy for a sushi.

Quite good quality of Japanese style food! High quality of products which they use here. Restaurant is always full and not so spacious, but service is very friendly and attentive. We like to come here from time to time! I recommend it! )

Mochi is absolutely awesome! The Suhsi there is incredibly delicious, as well as the mochi of course. The service was also very friendly and even there for a little conversation with their guests. Pre-booking would be worthwhile as this restaurant is very popular. But not without a reason. :) I really recommend eating there.
