Accessible by car (parking for approx 100 places) , bicycle or bus 92B (bus stop approx 300m away) nice place for hiking, i saw a few people also cycling inside along marked tracks for cyclists. There is a lake and a picnic area approx 10mins by walk inside the park. There is no ticket required to enter

A wonderful place to relax not far from the city center. There are different routes through the national park that you can choose from. When bringing your dog make sure she/he is on a leash.

Great for walks and a free exhibition in the centre detailing the wildlife and geography of the National Park. Could do with some toilets though

Excellent! Very peaceful walks. There are many paths to walk and plenty of parking. Often you can hear woodpeckers in the spring and autumn. I would definetly recommend this place for walks with children and dogs.

A gem of a place! We recently discovered this new hiking area via a friend's recommendation. A great area for new hikers or advanced, a relatively flat (mainly unpaved) walking trail through the beautiful Löbau National Park! While we were there we saw a mix of young and old, strollers, walking sticks, etc. It will seem like you're a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. A great way to get out into nature. A beautiful lake not too far from the car park is a great place to see swans, splash in the water, sit in the sunshine or just enjoy nature. In the winter months, when we went, it was fun to throw small stones onto the iced over lake and hear the echoing sounds! A side note, there is a section of this lake in summer which tends to be dedicated (officially or unofficially I'm unsure which!) to nude sunbathing and swimming, so if that's not your thing be on the lookout. It is clearly market on Google Maps which area IS in fact dedicated, but who knows what is correct or not. Regardless, this is a hidden gem not far from the city center! Highly recommend checking it out any time of year.

(Translated by Google) The jungle of Vienna. The Lubau, the "water forest", which is located in eastern Vienna and forms part of the 22nd quarter, covers 2,300 hectares and accounts for almost a quarter of the area of Donau-Owen National Park. It is one of the six Austrian national parks and protects one of the last remaining green areas in Central Europe. The park is home to more than 800 species of plants, 30 species of mammals, 100 species of poultry, 8 species of reptiles, 13 species of amphibians and 60 species of fish. Beavers, sea eagles, mantis, gray herons, emperor moths and hundreds of other species of animals inhabit this secret world. The "Flying Jewel" fish is also here and is the symbol of the national park. For Vienna residents, the Lobau is not only a green oasis, but also offers a wide range of activities. From an educational trip, through bicycle tours, a trip to the National Park boat and hiking, you can also swim in the summer months. The wien-lobAU National Park opened in 2007 allows visitors to experience nature in harmony with architecture. Exhibitions, publicity events and a wild forest store are featured. A hiking and cycling network with the best signage operates throughout Lubau. You should also think about the guided adventure tours, which showcase the special features of the Drift Forest ecosystem. If you want to hike historic trails, the 10-mile Napoleon Loop Trail is highly recommended. Archduke Carl gave Napoleon his first taste of defeat in the Battle of Aspern and Asling in 1809. As a memorial to his memory, stone obliques were erected at all the main sites of the event and two museums were built. The walking route, which can be freely accessed throughout the year and is located entirely in Lubao, leads to battle sites as well as down Napoleon and the French cemetery. (Translated by Google) Good luck with a story! I - meaning I AM HIMSELF and you are in the encounter in the NOW my other I SELF in the momentary development of both our levels of consciousness. Limits arise in the lack of harmony, when the other person begins to feel less, because it feels in itself a disharmony in its development in earth consciousness and thereby fights the outside, indeed brings its shadow to the light. The eagle can be for itself SELF, it flies highest in the sky and has the widest overview. But there are also chickens and other weird birds, who then think that he imagines something, but it is his nature to show what is possible. What are you really, an eagle or a clucking chicken? In nature, every bird has its role, and there are no chickens that believe to be an eagle. What if you just throw away everything you believe in BEING and think about what you really are? Through value-free action and working in a certain equivalency on how something would have to be an understanding of the other self, it is only the own boundaries that prevent me from looking at the other self with loving eyes. If you think in deficiency and limitations, you only see the state of your false ICH, because the other I may be as it is. Our aspirations for more, especially for POWER, more MONEY, makes us become slaves to our greed for power and makes us become slaves of our own system. Create light in the darkness of your thoughts, because the mirror on the outside only shows you where you DO NOT LOVE YOUR ME. Everyone is responsible for his dramas, which cost him life until he begins to love HIS OWN. To be a master of your SELF means not to follow the needs of a limited EGO, but to go deeper and feel like living, even putting words that make everyone feel good and happy. The path of man is to lift his veils and unfold their full size, which is like the birth of a butterfly, dissolving everything to be born again as a new being with a new consciousness. In this communion with Mother Earth and the universe, you then realize how unimportant many things are that you carry as ballast with you and prevent you from BEING free, which is the right of every human being, as NATURE right and human right, free of what other than beliefs live in. As a spiritually moral person you then experience your BEING in its full size, the butterfly unfolds in joy and wisdom in you, yes in your ICH.

Nice place for a leisurely walk, has a few information tablets too, would have wished for more of them, as we were hiking through without a guide and i love to learn about wildlife. Either way, very enjoyable anyway, the walkways are very well marked and easy to follow. the only photo i have is of a cool bug i found.
