Really don’t recommend this place. We are visiting Vienna and looking for a Kosher restaurant. We came as a couple of families at 5 pm looking forward to a nice meal together and were refused service because we were told they ‘really don’t need us’. We were not told to wait, we were not told come back later, or that they couldn’t accommodate us. We were simply refused service because they couldn’t be bothered to serve us. So they are right, they don’t need us but this is not a good Buiseness practice and I have to recommend to people to avoid going here and already make other plans as I don’t want them to be turned away as we were.

Wanted to go to this place forever and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Place was busy, but waiters were nice enough, service was quick and food came promptly out of the kitchen. Had delicious edamame beans with plenty of salt, very good sushi and some Korean dish that my friend said was very tasty.

Best kosher restaurant I’ve been to so far in Europe! Amazing menu with great options for pescatarians, vegans, gluten free people etc. Also delicious traditional Austrian desserts like Kaiserschmarrn. Ate here three times during my stay in Vienna and would 100% come again!

Nice place. Clean and tidy. Service ok. Food was tasty. We ordered a shnitzel which was very thin and some beef and chicken mix that was also tasty. Also chinese sour soup was nice. Location is great within the jewish quarter. Worth a visit

Dinner for two on 30.5.22 Kosher meat restaurant with a strongly Asian flavour. Not a huge seating area so can get busy and advisable to reserve. The food is excellent and they kindly offer to not over-spice dishes where patrons aren’t used to the spicier variants. I’m docking one star for this reason, and I’m not worried if you think me petty: we were asked to pay two Euro for a jug of tap water. The regular stuff that comes from the system. A bottle with a brand I can understand costs money. But not from the tap in the wall. I have never had that arise in a restaurant before. I hope the management are reading this, because this is something they really need to put right. When my wife asked for a jug for the table and the €2 charge was mentioned, the waiter agreed to bring her a glass for no cost! (And I wasn’t charged specifically for ice cubes with my cola, even though these take time to make.) That’s how silly this was, and it’s little things like this that can colour the patron’s experience. Mea Shearim - I’ll give you back your otherwise deserved fifth star when you stop the silly business of charging for a jug of tap water and come into line with the rest of the world.

Could be a great restaurant but when you stand around like a schlemiel for 15 minutes and are not greeted or offered a table, you have no choice but to leave. Service like this deserves no business. Shame. I guess it doesn’t matter to treat Inzra like feel…

Came out to eat with a group of friends. We did not realize that we should have made a reservation but got lucky because a different group had just canceled. We were served with smiles by all the staff and the food was incredible. The waiter was very helpful and gave us very solid recommendations for some tasty dishes and sushi rolls. We did not have to wait long and the food came out very quickly. Throw in the delicious desserts and we went home extremely satisfied. We all highly recommend this restaurant, (just don't make the mistake we did of assuming there will be a table and make a reservation in advance)

Phenomenal food, friendly service. Chili Salmon with vegetables was cooked to perfection. Overall, a nice Viennese/ Japanese fusion restaurant.

We came again to Mea Shearim and the level went up. Service was very pleasant and efficient. Sushis were really good and chinese meals delicious. Beef Sajuan was particularly good. ---- first review---- Good food for a reasonable price. The choice is quite large from asian to usual entrecote. The service is efficient though still have room for improvements.

We arrived at this place randomly because the kosher restaurant we were going to was closed and I eat kosher. I must say Mea Shearim was a lovely surprise. The space is clean, tidy and decorated with lovely Hebrew calligraphy art. The clients were very international and lots of young people. The menu is Austrian and Japanese cuisine. Me and my friend had chicken wings and schnitzel: both were delicious and with generous portions. I would definitely recommend

First I was gonna make a bad review but I said to myself that maybe I just don't like the food but fast forward 8 agonising hours I had the chance to think of a few things to say. Well just one thing truly terrible food. I do not reccomend, Disgusting food and taste 😞. Never again.

Not just the best kosher restaurant, but the best restaurant I have ever eaten at. We had dinner here and then came back for lunch the next day. We are so very glad we found it!

Very nice Kosher restaurant. Noisy a little bit by yelling kids and the personal didn’t react to calm the situation. Food is tasty.

We landed in Vienna in the early evening, dropped our bags and went to the restaurant. We accidentally made a reservation for the following day (our fault) and the staff was extremely accommodating. The food was excellent and the service was even better. Do not miss when you're in Vienna!

Went for a meal on 28th June 2022. Place was packed but Jeanette and her staff squeezed us in and were polite and patient. The food was excellent. The steak and schnitzel were great. Strongly recommended. Danny Lopian
