It’s
all
about
expectations.
The
staff
was
very
upfront
and
explained
what
were
displayed
in
the
museum
-
NO
famous
paintings
that
you
can
see
anywhere
in
the
big
museums
in
the
world.
Instead,
12
paintings
from
when
he
was
17-18
years
old
which
I
personally
loved
and
was
mesmerised
by
the
Sunflower,
1907.
I
cannot
stop
looking
at
it
and
feel
that
aloneness
and
melancholy.
On
the
1st
floor,
it’s
a
video
exhibition
with
interviews
with
art
historian,
psychologist,
museum
curators,
etc.
Also
the
major
archive
of
the
interview
of
a
US
art
historian’s
with
Egon
Schiele’s
sisters
and
sister-in-law
to
get
a
more
personal
perspective.
The
only
annoying
thing
is
only
one
person
can
access
to
the
video
each
other
(you
have
your
own
audio
guide
included
in
the
fee).
And
the
person
before
you
didn’t
finish
the
video,
you
will
have
to
watch
it
from
the
point
they
stopped
before
you
can
go
back
to
the
beginning.
If
the
videos
are
in
German,
they
have
English
subtitles.
And
think
of
Tulln
as
a
whole
package
of
Egon
Schiele
pilgrimage,
and
the
museum
is
part
of
it,
not
the
entirety
of
it.
The
town
has
an
Egon
Schiele
Weg
you
can
follow
and
get
a
full
experience
of
his
home
town.
The
staff
is
also
super
friendly!
