An extensive exhibition about the history, fauna, and flora in Lower Austria. We focused on the nature part, more interesting for our child. Well presented, catchy quizzes for kids, amazing building.

I recommend that everyone should go. Very good organised, very beautiful made, very quiet and not to over crowded, at the time when we were there very few people were also present. I was impressed by the collection of world war stuff I found there. 10 EUR or 20 EUR for a "family ticket" with children is not expensive.

(Translated by Google) You don't have to go to Vienna to experience culture - this museum has proven this to me. With the Nö card you can even get in for free. The various exhibitions offer something for many target groups. (Translated by Google) We didn't have any special expectations, but the museum is well built! We were less interested in the historical part, but the natural part was great and perfect for children! Only the square in front of the museum looked very uninviting, at least in winter, and the parking garage was very confusing and low ... although we followed the signs, we were at some office, especially with strollers it was difficult to get to the museum directly Finding a staircase with a lift ... but maybe just a coincidence?

Good museum. There is a nice mixture of history and nature. Interactive learning stations. Places to sit and rest. Clean bathrooms. Cloak room with lockers. Good parking (with a fee).

This is a wonderful museum with live and stuffed animals. It always exiting to see that many nature exhibits represent Lower Austria. The only negative aspect is that some of the parents are not able to use the excitement of their kids to teach them but confuse the museum with a playground and let their children run wild. Covid 19, no checks or mask are required but at least hand sanitizer are available.

(Translated by Google) The museum is getting more and more interesting. I think the House of History is very good. Really well prepared. The current special exhibition on Hitler's youth really excited me. I spent almost 2.5 hours here alone! The preparation with separation between influences and personal history is very useful and well done (Original) Das Museum wird immer interessanter. (Translated by Google) With 36 ° outside heat, we deliberately went to the museum yesterday instead of the outdoor pool. And as expected, we were almost alone and there were hardly any people in it. Everything was wonderfully air-conditioned, the staff were all friendly, the "watchdogs" discreetly in the background without anyone being observed. The lady at the checkout was particularly helpful and nice, as were the two zookeepers feeding the turtles. Despite the many seats, there are also super robust folding armchairs to carry around so that you can sit anywhere with them when you need them. All barriers freely accessible so that you can easily drive with a wheelchair and stroller, in addition to the elevator. The disabled parking spaces are not directly at the entrance but a few meters away, opposite the entrance, next to the large cross. Disinfection stands everywhere. All staff wore face masks, but not mandatory for visitors. All exhibits are shown very lovingly in detail. Everything was very neat and clean. Modern and lively. Our 3 year old was not boring, she turned and pressed everything that was intended for children, everything shown and explained very revealing. Unfortunately the cave was gone and the play area I remembered a few years ago, it was still a very nice visit! The souvenirs shop is also nice. I don't know if there is a restaurant outside because we were not sitting in the beautiful seating area in front of the entrance.

(Translated by Google) Large museum in St. Pölten. There is enough parking space in an underground car park. Regular new exhibitions in the side rooms, although these are rather smaller. Staff friendly. The best known part is still the house of nature. There is also a cinema and a craft room with a playground. Overall nice museum, which is worth a trip. (Original) Großes Museum in St. Pölten.

(Translated by Google) Great museum Basically has 3 areas 1. Nature in the middle - with aquariums and stuffed animals - is more for families with small children. 2. History of Lower Austria The time from WW1 - the four quarters - was interesting Old vehicles (tractor, Puch 500, Figls Mercedes), city contract. Old household appliances from my youth. The Zeitrar story of Lower Austria and the world. 3rd current exhibition - currently 2020 / the young Hitler / also interesting. The best places to live are Hitler's places of residence in Vienna and the slide with 3D slides from all over the world from WW1. Free entry with the nö-Card. Half price for the ticket on arrival with öbb - 5 €. Otherwise 10 € x nice modern canteen. Unfortunately, mostly photography ban. Unfortunately no Austellubgskstalog or postcards for the Hitler exhibition. From the main train station about 29 minutes on foot - or eg with bus 2 or 9 towards the Landhaus. From Klosterneuburg, for example, there are also direct buses to the country house to the officials when the work begins and ends.

(Translated by Google) Unfortunately the cave with slide no longer exists for the children. How so? Our children were disappointed, in addition the children's play area was just closed, probably due to renovation measures etc. Too bad, especially for children who would have been looking forward to it.
