I stayed there for five days in September. My room included breakfast and a parking space. The second morning the show started.. I had to keep arguing with the dining room staff every morning about my breakfast reservation. No one managed to correct the mistake... not even the manager, the staff at the reception, the staff in the kitchen, the dining room, the other shifts... literally no one. In addition, my parking cards stopped working 3 times. On the fifth day, they wanted to charge me for the parking space that was already included in the price :). I personally witnessed some of the front desk staff trying to find free rooms by randomly walking into rooms that were already taken (some guy yelled at us in the middle of the night). They also screwed something up with the ventilation system so the fan in the bathroom can't be turned off at all.. you have a nice noise 0-24h and it's hard to sleep. There was a promise to fix this 3 times but it was a false promise. Whatever they tell you there they will do.. they probably won't. Honestly, I have never seen anything like this before.

Pros: Good location, good rooms. Cons: I have never experienced this at any hotel that I was. I arrived at 9:00 am to eat breakfast, which is till 10:00 am. In front of me were I think, 20 people waiting to have a free table. After 15 minutes, a waiter sent us to a 2 persons table. We let on the table our phones and then we went to take the plates and the food. After 5 minutes we came back to our table, and we found a man who took our phones away and he told us that this is his table we need to move. I speak with him that is our table, we were sent here by the waiter. He didn’t want to leave us on the table. The waiter that send us to that table comes, he tells him that is not his table he needs to move, but he stays there and he told the waiter to speak with his boss because this is his table. The boss has come and he took instantly me and my gf to another table, he told us that is not our table. So basically he made a favour to that man, and he didn’t care about us. So even if we need to wait to a queue to eat, not normal for a 4 star hotel, we are also being discriminated.

Not what is expected of a 4 star hotel, poorly lit and congested old rooms. ACs aren't effective at all, just the sound of the blower hardly some cold air comes out. To add to it, dirty walls, torn chairs. No electric kettle available in the room nor coffee or tea sachets (which is anyways of no use without hot water). Hotel needs an upgrade or please stop advertising as a 4 star hotel and instead use the "2 star" badge. Gave the rating only considering the location and decent breakfast.

The AC at this location did not work, and the staff was not very helpful with this situation. For the price of a 2 night stay and if the Information says that the location has AC it should work. I was told to switch room three times, while the AC was not working, even at the lowest temperature it was blasting heat, and I can not sleep when it is warm. I only encountered one nice staff member, who tried to help but still did not work very well. AC means Air Conditioning you should be able to change the room temperature to what you like and not be stuck in a heated room. It should not be promoted as AC if you can't change the thermostat.

Reception staff was either unmotivated or unfriendly. Room was not clean when I moved in. "Save the bees" if you dont need room service. Would be great if they would stick to it because they cleaned the room either way. Due to its perfect location this is a hotel that does not need to take care for the customer.

Nice clean hotel with lovely rooms and comfortable beds. Very friendly and helpful reception staff but breakfast was chaotic on the two days I stayed as it was so busy, we had to queue a long time to enter, the staff were very clearly stressed and struggling to replenish the buffet and cups etc (I was there in December so it may of been the time of year I visited). Fantastic location for transport links.

It is a quite expensive hotel and you have to be careful because the price not included the wellness and parking ( 28euro per day/car!) You didn't get bathrobe. The breakfast OK but you have to wait a lot a free clean table. My opinion is not worth it!😒Simple, plain hotel like ⭐⭐⭐

Great room and a pretty good service. A little bit away from all the action, but close up public transportation, minutes away from the old town. Garage is a bit expensive, but given you can do everything without a car it's ok. Skip breakfast there and go to local bakeries instead.

Rooms are clean and well maintained. Although we are a couple, they gave us separate beds. 🤦‍♂️ Breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety. We loved it 😋 Wifi is free

A lovely clean and friendly hotel within easy reach of Vienna City centre. Food good and staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was busy and took a bit of time but all in all a highly recommended hotel.

Great location in the heart of Vienna. It was end of summer so as we were informed the a/c was switched to winter, end result the room was very hot. The room was very noisy with street noise even with the windows shut, so opening the window was out of the question.I would think twice before staying there again in the same room.

Really nice and simple room. It was clean and had everything we needed. The service wasn’t the best unfortunately. When we first arrived for check in the man at the desk was quite rude and told me I spelled my own name wrong (I didn’t) I laughed it off but i did think it was a bit rude and I didn’t feel very welcomed. One of the mornings the room service came into the room while we were still asleep in bed and we got a fright. This isn’t a big issue it was just an early time to be coming in for room service (9am). This didn’t happen any of the other days. Overall it’s a good location and the hotel itself and the wellness centre is great. The other staff we talked to were a LOT friendlier

Fist of all the hotel staff are great and welcoming. Second, the Hotel is very clean and located in a very good place. It’s not too far from the main attractions and just waking 1 min north you’ll be able to catch the tram [49] to go east and visit most for the attraction. Or walk 4 mins south and you’ll catch subway [U3] and be right by old Vienna city. Third, I highly recommend that you reserve your stay with Breakfast. They offer an excellent breakfast that’s very much enjoyable. Forth, rooms are very clean. Finally, you can keep the bags at the storage room at the reception for free, and come back pick them up when it’s time to leave.

terrible hotel! it is not even close to the money! I definitely don't recommend it! stayed for three days with family and small child. The refrigerator in the room didn't work. we called the reception twice, went once, only the next morning a hotel employee came, looked at something and the refrigerator did not work! we have a small child, we brought his food with a cell, they all went bad. Breakfast is generally a conversation. the price is 25 euros per person, so we still had to wait 10 minutes when we were seated, as there were not enough seats in the restaurant. and sit next to each other. and modest tomorrow. we just ate in a cafe and it came out even cheaper. Cleaners don't leave coffee sticks after cleaning. and they called and I went to the reception - they never brought coffee. I ended up buying a coffee at an Italian cafe across from the hotel. this hotel is the main money, the service is terrible! The staff don't care about the guests! we are very disappointed! this hotel is not worth the stars or the money. often travel with family but this is the worst hotel ever!

We had a good time there. The staff is super friendly and is always there to provide assistance. But the quality of amenities could be better for a 4 star hotel.

Room was good size, bed was pretty comfi. Location is super. For parking need to pay extra. Also when you take your dog. The room had no fridge which wasnt the best experience in the middle of summer. Breakfast was very good.

This is a great hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. I stayed there for business. The internet in the room is fast and stable I had no problems working remotely. Bed are comfortable with perfect size pillow (for me) not too soft not too hard hard not too high. Restaurant serves excellent food, service is fast and the price is fair and was affordable to me.

I stayed at Arcotel Wimberger in July 2023 for one night and it was an amazing experience. The room was beautifully decorated, the view was lovely, the bed was excellent. The bathroom had a big bath and some great shower gels and shampoo. There was AC in the room which was great as I travelled during the July heatwave. I didn’t book breakfast but decided to go in the morning anyway. It was very busy but I had no trouble finding a table and all the foods and drinks were stocked up and excellent. The receptionists I interacted with were helpful, kind, and helped me with all my queries. The hotel was also within walking distance to the tram and underground.

Bottom line: I chose this hotel specifically because of the spa. I wanted to relax and treat myself on the last day of my trip to Vienna. I was very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel for spa or at all! In fact the stay there caused me stress and anxiety. 1. When I checked in I was surprised to learn they take extra 15€ for the spa. A petty considering they were more expensive than similar hotels without a spa at the day I booked. 2. When I checked-in they told me they upgraded my room but really I could not see what the difference was between the room I initially booked (based on booking website photos) and what I got. However in this upgraded room, there were two single beds instead of the large double bed I specifically requested. 3. In the room, the minibar was empty with a note saying I can get stuff at the reception. I am ok paying for overpriced snacks only because of the convenience of grabbing them quickly. 4. Even cheap hotels usually offer some little welcome treat for guests like fruits. This one had a cardboard with a drawing of an apple (I kid you not) telling me the apple is at the reception. I did not look too hard when I went down but I did not see it there. If you can’t provide this level of hospitality just don’t put this insulting note at all. 5. The minibar did not work. I was planning to leave early in the morning to catch a flight, so I bought a packaged salad for the morning. I could not store it inside. 6. No bed cover, no bathrobes, no flip flops (it is supposed to be a hotel with a spa). One of the bed night lights did not work. Drain plug had issues. Poor maintenance overall, mold in the bathroom parts of the door chipped off. I have seen hostels looking better. 7. Refillable squeeze bottles for soap in the bathroom. I understand the concern for environment but this is a public space, not my home. There is a reason why most places have single use soap. What if the previous guest peed into the bottle? 8. I got two soaps instead of a soap and a shampoo. 9. They advertise that back facing rooms have a garden view. I did not see any garden. Only fire escape platform covering the whole building. And a patio with nothing special. Now about the wellness center. It is exactly as they describe it: dry sauna, whirlpool, infrared treatment. As well as a treadmill. It was small but not many people used it at the time I was there. Now spas usually have lockers where you can store your phone, room card, clothes. This one had only 6 and they all were locked. I went down to ask if they have any solution. First they confirmed no one in the hotel is responsible for the spa (I asked if I could talk with them) then they (receptionist and the manager) tried to convince me that it is fine to hide my stuff under a towel. It was not pleasant discussion, they acted “professionally” but were not professional at all and did not help me with the issue. During the discussion they told me that the spa key also opens my room (that it is the same key) which I checked later as not being correct. I could have used this information and get stuck out of my room. The fact that no one in charge of the spa shows. The water jar was empty and I took one of the last two cups and had to fill it on the bathroom tap. It’s not bad but it is not a spa experience either. Without robe I had to take a shower in the spa and change clothes instead of doing it in my room. When I left there was no one else there and all 6 lockers were still locked. I think it is quite important that someone from the staff is keeping an eye on the spa. What if there is a medical issue? I had to leave my phone in the room because of the locker issue and I imagine other guests did it as well. All this, considering the higher than non spa hotel price (based on what I compared), I would not recommend. Just book a cheap hotel and a professional spa separately. They don’t give you a robe here so you can’t return to your room to shower anyway.

This is a hotel at a nice location and has very friendly staff. The amenities are also very reasonable. However, on Sunday 30th April they had an event in the hotel that resulted in a lot of noise from loud music. This continued throughout the night and the noise level was so loud that it was impossible to sleep. We were not informed about this prior to booking a room and the hotel management made no efforts to contain the noise despite us informing them about it. This gives me the impression that the hotel cares more about its profits than the comfort of its guests. This should not happen at a 4 star hotel.

Excellent location nearby metro and tram , very friendly staff , we didn’t choose breakfast option so cant rate it , reason for 4/5 that no English movie channels or cartoons for kids , toilets are big and high pressure showers were so nice overall we were happy to spend Christmas in the hotel

Excellent service by staff at a very busy Congress. Spacious rooms comfortable bed. Delicious plentiful breakfast with many high quality options at the buffet 😉

Just a box room, cheap mattresses, only option to cool down the room is opening a window onto a busy 4 lane road and a skateboard park. No desk, chair, lamp, refrigerator, ice bucket, nothing extra. Not a great neighborhood, definitely not romantic, terrible noise outside with the window open. The only reason we're staying is this is the hotel booked on our tour.

Good buffet breakfast. Nice and clean. Great high pressure shower. English is widely understood. Big issue is, here we are Oct 8 and No Air Conditioner and 22C in day! No fan. Hot nights. With window open too noisy. Our group of 22 all had trouble sleeping.

Review for the Restaurant Yesterday night, my wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary. The food was delicious but the service was bad. And back home, we checked the costs and we couldn’t figure out for what additional €15 were paid for. The 2.50€ for couvert were counted. I strongly recommend to check the orders and bills before leaving the restaurant.

I had a wonderful period staying at Arcotel. You get breakfast in the morning at the restaurant downstairs, the rooms are beautiful, there are spaces for conferences and business meetings, the staffs are nice. Generally a good one 👍🏾

A nice hotel to stay. However, the wifi and air conditioning system in the rooms should be good.
