Really
putting
the
'Budget'
in
their
title.
The
service
staff
here
were
absolutely
terrible.
Initially
it
was
no
big
deal
that
they
refused
to
provide
two
hotel
cards
for
two
people
sharing
a
room
-
the
receptionist
advised
it
was
manned
24
hours,
and
if
people
returned
at
different
times
he
would
let
us
into
our
rooms.
This
seemed
a
lot
more
inconvenient
for
the
receptionist,
as
we
had
a
group
of
30,
and
multiple
people
were
sharing
singles
rooms.
Hours
later
when
everyone
was
returning
to
their
rooms
at
different
times
of
day,
they
went
to
request
access
to
their
room
(the
other
person
had
the
key
and
was
in
the
city)
they
were
given
a
grumpy
response
and
given
a
second
key
anyway!
It
seemed
the
two-card
policy
depended
if
the
receptionist
could
not
be
bothered
going
to
let
people
into
their
rooms
as
he
initially
stated.
After
check
in
we
realised
our
air-con
did
not
work.
I
advised
reception,
only
to
be
told
I
was
wrong
and
it
DID
work,
it
would
only
come
on
if
the
temperature
went
above
25
degrees
and
the
windows
were
closed.
After
waiting
a
few
hours
in
our
sauna
of
a
room,
sweat
dripping
from
places
I
didn't
know
could
accumulate
moisture,
I
checked
in
with
our
fellow
travellers
who
advised
their
rooms
were
nice
and
chilled,
air-con
pumping.
I
attended
reception
where
the
staff
member
again
tried
to
tell
me
it
was
fine
(without
even
asking
if
the
AC
unit
light
came
on,
which
it
didn't.
He
apparently
could
assure
me
it
was
working
without
leaving
his
desk
or
anyone
checking).
Eventually
he
said
his
manager
would
be
attending
at
11pm,
my
hopes
were
not
high
and
I
was
sure
he
was
just
waiting
for
the
end
of
his
shift
to
make
it
someone
elses
problem.
Hours
later,
the
manager
arrived,
only
to
advise
us
he
had
known
the
air-cons
in
multiple
rooms
had
not
been
working
for
days,
and
there
was
nothing
he
could
do.
No
rooms
available
to
change
to.
He
advised
there
was
nothing
they
could
do
and
we
could
keep
the
window
open
(which
opened
to
a
main
road
with
constant
traffic).
I
asked
if
they
had
any
portable
ACs
or
fans
-
a
small
portable
desk
fan
was
offered
which
would
do
little
else
other
than
to
circulate
the
stale
air
of
the
room,
but
was
better
than
nothing.
In
the
morning
our
friends
advised
us
the
breakfast
was
the
worst
they
had
experienced
throughout
our
month
long
Europe
travel
-
there
was
no
hot
food
selection,
and
a
wasp
had
flown
out
of
some
of
their
cereal.
We
opted
to
skip
it
for
food
from
the
supermarket
next
door
thankfully.
I'm
more
mad
that
the
staff
lied
to
us
all
day
rather
than
just
admit
the
AC
wasn't
working
in
the
first
place.
There
were
other
small
issues
among
our
group
were
the
staff
continued
to
demonstrate
how
unhelpful
they
could
be.
