I
recently
had
the
displeasure
of
staying
at
Roomz
Hotel
Wien
Prater,
and
I
must
say
that
my
experience
was
far
from
satisfactory.
From
the
moment
I
checked
in,
it
became
apparent
that
this
hotel
had
a
penchant
for
charging
exorbitant
fees
for
even
the
most
basic
amenities.
To
my
dismay,
I
discovered
that
practically
everything
I
needed
during
my
stay
came
with
a
hefty
price
tag
of
50
euros.
Even
a
simple
plug
required
a
deposit
of
50
euros,
which
I
found
utterly
unreasonable.
It
seemed
as
though
the
hotel
was
constantly
looking
for
ways
to
nickel
and
dime
its
guests.
Another
frustrating
incident
occurred
when
my
partner
and
I
requested
two
umbrellas.
Instead
of
providing
them
as
a
courtesy,
we
were
informed
that
we
had
to
pay
a
deposit
for
them.
To
make
matters
worse,
the
staff
then
mentioned
that
they
usually
needed
to
have
umbrellas
available,
despite
our
initial
request.
This
inconsistency
left
us
feeling
deceived
and
inconvenienced.
Moreover,
the
absence
of
basic
amenities
in
the
room
could
have
been
much
better.
No
bathrobes,
room
tweezers,
or
glass
for
toothbrush
were
provided,
which
is
quite
unusual
for
a
hotel
of
this
calibre.
When
we
inquired
about
shampoo,
we
were
informed
that
we
had
to
pay
an
additional
fee
for
it.
It
felt
as
though
the
hotel
was
determined
to
squeeze
every
last
euro
out
of
its
guests,
even
for
essential
toiletries.
Furthermore,
the
lack
of
a
fridge
and
tea/coffee-making
facilities
in
the
room
further
detracted
from
our
comfort.
It
is
disheartening
to
pay
for
accommodation
and
not
have
access
to
basic
amenities
that
are
typically
expected
in
a
4-star
hotel
room.
The
customer
service
experience
regarding
additional
requests
could
have
been
better
as
well.
When
I
asked
for
an
iron,
I
was
told
to
come
down
to
the
front
desk
and
retrieve
it
myself,
expecting
to
return
it
within
an
hour.
Any
delay
in
returning
the
iron
would
result
in
additional
fees.
This
inconvenience
and
rigid
policy
left
me
feeling
unsupported
as
a
guest.
To
add
insult
to
injury,
when
we
requested
water
to
be
provided
in
our
room,
we
were
simply
told
to
fetch
it
ourselves
from
the
restaurant.
This
kind
of
dismissive
response
to
a
simple
request
was
disappointing
and
showed
a
lack
of
attentiveness
to
guest
needs.
In
conclusion,
my
stay
at
Roomz
Hotel
was
marred
by
the
constant
imposition
of
fees
for
basic
amenities,
the
absence
of
essential
items
in
the
room,
and
the
dismissive
attitude
of
the
staff.
I
would
strongly
caution
anyone
considering
this
hotel
to
be
aware
of
the
hidden
fees
and
the
lack
of
attention
to
guest
comfort.
With
so
many
other
options
available,
I
believe
there
are
better
choices
in
the
area
that
offer
a
more
pleasant
and
accommodating
experience.
