If I’m going to choose a hotel to stay at in Vienna again, I will never choose this hotel again. First of all, the rooms are pretty, but there are NO any basic services in the room such as a kettle, mini bar or even a bottle of water!! although it’s considered an expensive hotel compared to others of the same range! When I called the reception to ask them to bring me a coffee one night they told me they have no room service and I have to go down to get a cup of coffee. I once ordered the iron and they told me that it’s only free for 1 hour only !!! Can you imagine the quality of service there! I was booking a double room with a friend of mine and we only got 1 key 🔑 for the room! And when we asked for another one since it’s a double room and we go out in different times, they told us we must pay 5 euros and unfortunately we had to pay! In addition, most of the stuff working there are so unfriendly and aggressive. The room wasn’t cleaned everyday although we left it empty for the whole day! We needed to inform them everyday before we leave that we need to clean the room and this shouldn’t happen actually unless we are putting the dont disturb paper on the room! The only good thing about this hotel is the breakfast, it was very delicious and fresh. Other than that, I didn’t like my experience there. And I believe that it’s considered expensive regarding to its level of service.

Terrible- avoid, particularly the reception staff, they need to be trained in better customer service. Room smelled of urine. We left a few minutes after checking in because it was terrible. Very suspicious that most of the good reviews are “local guides” whereas actual customers seem to universally leave terrible reviews. I wonder if they are paying people to leave reviews …

The worse client service experience ever. The hotel provided no slippers. So the first night that we visited it, my foot was injured while walking barefoot because the floor was full of broken glasses. We complained about it, they cleaned it and when we returned from breakfast my partner got also injured because they didn’t clean it thoroughly. When we complained again they lied to our face declaring that they hadn’t clean the room the first time and they would send someone to clean it. This was the first lie. When we asked for a compensation for my injure and this very unpleasant experience since I couldn’t even walk for a few days, after 3 days of delays and excuses that the manager was not available, they finally said they would not provide any compensation because we booked the room through a third provider. That was the 2nd and a huge lie because we booked it through their website. Additionally the dishes at breakfast were dirty and there was not fridge in the room. They took the money in advance and then they didn’t care about any complain we did. Very unreliable hotel and the worse client service I ever experienced.

I recently had the displeasure of staying at Roomz Hotel Wien Prater, and I must say that my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I checked in, it became apparent that this hotel had a penchant for charging exorbitant fees for even the most basic amenities. To my dismay, I discovered that practically everything I needed during my stay came with a hefty price tag of 50 euros. Even a simple plug required a deposit of 50 euros, which I found utterly unreasonable. It seemed as though the hotel was constantly looking for ways to nickel and dime its guests. Another frustrating incident occurred when my partner and I requested two umbrellas. Instead of providing them as a courtesy, we were informed that we had to pay a deposit for them. To make matters worse, the staff then mentioned that they usually needed to have umbrellas available, despite our initial request. This inconsistency left us feeling deceived and inconvenienced. Moreover, the absence of basic amenities in the room could have been much better. No bathrobes, room tweezers, or glass for toothbrush were provided, which is quite unusual for a hotel of this calibre. When we inquired about shampoo, we were informed that we had to pay an additional fee for it. It felt as though the hotel was determined to squeeze every last euro out of its guests, even for essential toiletries. Furthermore, the lack of a fridge and tea/coffee-making facilities in the room further detracted from our comfort. It is disheartening to pay for accommodation and not have access to basic amenities that are typically expected in a 4-star hotel room. The customer service experience regarding additional requests could have been better as well. When I asked for an iron, I was told to come down to the front desk and retrieve it myself, expecting to return it within an hour. Any delay in returning the iron would result in additional fees. This inconvenience and rigid policy left me feeling unsupported as a guest. To add insult to injury, when we requested water to be provided in our room, we were simply told to fetch it ourselves from the restaurant. This kind of dismissive response to a simple request was disappointing and showed a lack of attentiveness to guest needs. In conclusion, my stay at Roomz Hotel was marred by the constant imposition of fees for basic amenities, the absence of essential items in the room, and the dismissive attitude of the staff. I would strongly caution anyone considering this hotel to be aware of the hidden fees and the lack of attention to guest comfort. With so many other options available, I believe there are better choices in the area that offer a more pleasant and accommodating experience.

I'm here right now. I checked in a few hours ago and went to take a shower. Apparently the housekeeper cannot see a lot of brown hair in the shower. Come on people! It's so obvious. Not happy. I took a few pics. There was also a buildup of water and a lot more hair in the drain. 🙄

Well, many guests have already reviewed the hotel as very nice, smart design, standard breakfast options and on an upscale location. Unfortunately the reviews about the staff were validated during my visit last week when i stayed for 3 days and i also "enjoyed" on the same bad experience. If you're looking for a non people-friendly hotel, you're in luck ;) It's called hospitality, not hostility... Are you somewhat comfused about your role there or your job description? Pitty...

Was booked in here by my Danube cycling company. The hotel ticks all the boxes for a standard hotel. What has been exceptional was the staff, particularly Marion and Sarah. Marion impressed me at check in. She was friendly informative, professional and everything someone walked past she looked up and smiled. I stupidly left some lost property at a hotel in Dublin and they incorrectly couriered it to Roomz to arrive after I left. Marion and Sarah have been so helpful in communicating it's journey and going above and beyond to help get this back to me. It's the staff that make the place and they have been a credit.

Very pricey. Yet for the price of 260 a night, not having a fridge or even trash bags, just a trash bin... with thick winter blankets towards the end of may. Also, no way to signal you don't want your room made. What is this, are 1 euro carton cards too much to be put on the door? Good breakfast options and at least the idea of a small gym.

Large rooms. Overall good/average hotel. Room cleaning was not great though, I had ordered a pasta and my empty dish was not cleared until check-out…I changed hotel for my last night in Vienna

We spent three nights here as a couple and I can only echo what others said about the staff: their manners are below anything I have experienced in a 4-star-hotel. It started off with the check-in: we arrived at 1pm and although the hotel was nearly empty, they told us we could check-in but would not get our keys before 3pm. The receptionist did not even recommend a café or anything to do in the meantime. We even needed to ask if it was possible to leave our luggage while we went for a walk. The next day, we wanted to go to the fitness room and the sauna in the hotel. They activated our keycard for the fitness room but told us it was 20€/day/person (!!!) to go to the sauna. When we asked where this was written they just rudely answered "it says it on the homepage" (which it doesn't). We decided around 3pm that we would go to the sauna (as the weather was bad) and my husband went downstairs to activate the cards. Only after he paid the 40€ already, the receptionist then said "oh it only opens at 5pm". We wanted our money back as we left for dinner at 6pm and did not want to pay 40€ for 30min of sauna. On top of that, they do not have "do not disturb" cards so the maids come in everyday. And although the towels were not on the floor, they changed them but certainly did not clean the room as it was still dusty. This is not sustainable at all! All in all, the location is great since it is easily reachable and the rooms are okay for the price. But the staff and the rooms being dirty (mould in the bathroom) made us rate it at 2 stars maximum and we will not come back again.

Very nice hotel, close to train station (10 minutes walk), and very close to Prater Park. The staff is really helpful and very friendly. Comfortable room and clean. The breakfast buffet has a variety of choices (even milk of soya). I definitely recommend it.

A mixed emotions experience The hotel looks carefully planned and built. The reception area, the breakfast area, the rooms, everything looks like it was made after a lot of thought about clients' needs. Then someone decided that "ok,this is enough, apart from this point we do not provide anything else and if we haven't thought about something that's the clients' problem." It seemed like the staff had direct orders not to give the clients anything more than what the managers had already planned to: "Could I have a cup of hot water please? (There is no kettle in the room )- Yes,at the cost of a cup of tea,3,60€ please" "Could I have another pillow please? -Sorry,we don't do that,we do not have extra pillows stored" "Could I have a <do not disturb> sign for my door please? -We do not have this kind of stuff, please declare at the reception that you do not wish any cleaning service today" (Would be ok if it worked but it didn't,you would have to find the cleaning staff and tell them directly) Apart from that,an excellent breakfast (and again what was given was what had been planned beforehand:if in a particular morning people consumated more bread/croissants/cake/anything than anticipated, there was no replenishment, things just got "finished") I stayed 25 days, enough time for observations (I am a tourism professional)

Great water pressure in the shower, quite a good choice of breakfast dishes. Cheap overnight parking, very friendly staff, the night shift receptionist came up to our room to fix the TV. Rooms quite spartan, no Coffee or tea making facilities so had to go down to the bar to get a cup of tea to have in the room. Located near underground station.

Okay, just finished my 2nd week long visit (first in Oct 2019, and this one Oct 2023) My observations; scrupulously clean rooms, with a very European version of what passes for a boutique hotel room. A little clinical in execution, but comfy bed, fantastic shower so no real gripes there. NOTE TO THE MANAGEMENT RE. ROOM; it would be bloody *fantastic* to have coffee/tea facilities in the rooms. REALLY! This is pretty basic stuff! Please sort this out! Staff: Really lovely on both my visits, and whilst they can sometimes seem a bit 'crisp' at first approach, have all been excellent ambassadors for the hotel, no matter whether on reception, restaurant/bar or room service. If you go that little bit further and at least *try* to speak German, in my experience the service just gets better, but never fear - you won't ever be 'marked down' for using _bad_ German. It's just polite to try to speak the native language, no? It goes a LONG way wherever you travel in my experience. Aaaanyhoo, in brief; put coffee/tea facilities in the rooms and it's all perfect by me. Peace! 😘

It has comfortable and clean rooms. If you are not going to use Uber, you can walk to the train station in 15 minutes. I will stay again.

Rooms are clean and ok, not more. In the bathroom there are just the basic amenities. No fridge, no water, no anything that is expected for 4 stars, The location is not exactly close to anything except Prater, but closeby are the train and the metro station. Breakfast was very good, indeed. But what made me give 3 stars was the rudeness of staff in breakfast room. We had to catch a plane and were there at exactly 6.30, tha official opening hour. They shouted ..not yet open, we have to wait. I suggested that is 6.30...answer: don.t care,I have to wait. Sorry for bothering you, sir, never again in this hotel..

Nice 2018 built hotel, part of the Vienna Campus, very close to Prater Park and in shouting distance from the metro station. An excellent choice for conventions and seminars. Very good breakfast buffet but the bar is tucked in a dark corner and does not invite you to stay late. Should you feel like eating dinner ( in the same area of the breakfast buffet) the choices may not be too extensive but all are high quality and graciously served by the polite and professional staff.

Hotel is complete confusion. First of all, it's a mission impossible to find a parking (it's not marked at all as parking of hotel). When you ask receptionist about parking, she gave wrong address. When you somehow find parking, them it's again struggle to find entrance to hotel from parking. Insufficient stuff and not trained / professional. In the room, during all night long I could hear ventilation sound above my head (namely room 114), which I could not switch off . So, it was sleepless night. Only positive part is location of hotel and clean room.

This was a very average hotel. There were TWO people working the restaurant and bar. It was nearly impossible to get service, even just a couple beers. We gave them a pass on the first night of our arrival, thinking they just misjudged the staffing needs, but it was the same two servers all three nights we were there. It was entirely insufficient staffing. There were no ice machines to make your own drinks / chill wine. There were no trash cans in the bathrooms, and really no place to put the one from the room.

I spend 30 minutes on the reception trying to communicate ans do the check in with hotel's staff. Rooms quality above basic for that price(120€ per night). At last, by far one of the best breakfast that i ever had.

Great location, close to subway station and Prater. During the weekend neighborhood is very quiet so if you prefer to party in the evening, it may not be a best solution. But as a base for city tour, great! Rooms not so big, but clean, quiet and comfortable.

Solid new hotel with very nice room and bathroom. The room does not have a fridge and you do not get slippers. The sauna did not work, which is a minus. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Hotel is located near Prater metro station and you can also walk to the city center.

Friendly staff but worst food in Vienna. I had the meal included and paid dearly. The soup is salt water, the food comes with no potatoes or vegetables and is deep fried fast-food, greasy and wet every day. And the city of the greatest desserts has sunk to a new deep serving weird gummy panna cotta that comes out like a rubber ball, not even sure it is cream but more likely a palmfat with sugar. Same for the creamdessert the next day. I seriously regret having booked this place. I stayed in over 20 hotels in Vienna in the last few years and this was a new low. Can they not just serve a simple pumpkin or tomato soup and a green salad, or some grilled chicken. Or a local dish of snitzel or goulash? Breakfast was basic but no indication of allergens or if it contained porc.

Rooms and amenities were OK, there were no fridge, no kettle or coffee maker and no slipper which a 4 star hotel should normally provide its guests. Moreover, breakfast was good. HOWEVER, the morning staff/receptionist, (I think her name is Rabeb) she was not approachable, not polite. Furthermore, we waited for more than 20 minutes because she couldn’t find our reservation under name which was a total uncomfortable situation for us knowing that we have a senior citizen and a child with us. She could have been more helpful and nice as she should. Technical problems are mundane but her attitude was not.
