Lovely place! The food was amazing! I had the Spicy Korean Duck bowl (vegan), it was absolutely delicious! The portion was big and 12,50€ was a good price, especially considering all of the different ingredients. My partner had the vegetarian chicken burger, it was finger licking good! I definitely recommend this place, there are so many different things on the menu that I would like to try out and we're definitely coming again. The staff was kind and friendly and I liked the atmosphere in the restaurant. Update: We went there at lunchtime during a weekday and it was kinda chaotic. We waited for an hour in total until someone took our order, we had to ask 3 times for it. The staff was friendly and they apologized about the chaos, and the food was tasty. I tried the Caribbean bowl this time, it was very good. I would still rate this place 5 stars despite the long wait. The staff was obviously stressed and overwhelmed, but I appreciate that they were nice and didn't project their stress on us. I still recommend it, but probably if you're in a hurry, don't go there in a rush lunch time :) Update: Still very nice! Went there at dinner time during the week, it was not so busy and we had a very friendly and patient waiter.

The place is in a great district. It has tables outside that let you soak in the atmosphere. I had the avocado boat with additional vegan chicken and it was very delicious and filling.

We found this place by accident. Very funky and modern vibe. Lots of locals so we felt it was a good place. So much cheaper than the places in central Wein. We enjoyed a lemon chicken poke bowl and a vegan burger. Both really tasty and healthy ish. Lots of options. Only small issue was they only take cash which we didn't expect so had to get money out and cash point charged €5 which is annoying. Doh... Great place though, go try it.

I really enjoyed the food, and it’s super nice to sit outside. Get here early to secure a good spot! As for the service everyone was super lovely. But we were served the wrong dish and kept being brought peoples dishes. Also the food took a while to come, but it was 100% worth the wait.

Poached Eggs were divine. Açaí Bowl were just like the one in Brazil. Location is beautiful and the staff is quick and friendly.

What a cool restaurant, filled with books you can read, and with some of the tastiest vegan dishes I've ever tried! Also our Egyptian waiter was a top guy, smiling, open hearted and ready to help and chat, even when the restaurant was full. Fast service too. We had to wait 10 minutes to sit down, as we hadn't reserved a table, but it was really worth it.

Very interesting menu with a lot of options, including vegan. I ended up eating a burger that was well prepared and abundant. Sweet potatoes as a side where crunchy and very tasty

One of the best restaurants in the area! I have been there several times for coffee, breakfast, lunch or dinner. Every time I had a positive experience, dishes are tasty, fresh ingredients, great service (always with a smile and accommodating allergies/intolerances). Recommended! 👌🏻

We stepped in this place as we were super hungery I have ordered green mixed salad and plain burger and some chicken nuggets . It was one of the bad burger’s experiences I had ever …the food is not tasty at all the bread of the burger was not fresh and is considered very expensive compared to what you got … Ranking: Burger:1/5 Salad: 2/5 Service :2/5 It is not recommended for any one in Vienna .

I walked in with no reservation about 11am and was seated and served immediately. Great customer service. I ordered the California bowl and it was nothing short of AMAZING and tasted as good as it's presentation. Every bite was flavourful. The servings could have been the slightest big larger. Otherwise, thank you for the delicious meal. I will dream of this bowl while I'm in Australia.

for sure plainest thing I ever ate, no flavor no spice just raw egg raw avocato with bread and 1 tomato. didnt even bring me menu and asked me do you want to tip and gave me judgemental attitude when i said no woah.

I have nothing but great words for the people working there and the place. It is really nice vibe there, cosy and private enough. Food is extremely good and when I asked a waiter for personal addition to Ice-Coffee the bartender went way beyond my expectations. Highly recommend this place.

If this place is not chic enough for you, get some help because there's even chic pea with my breakfast (in a good way). Profoundly tasty - particularly impressive porridge option a fusion of at least 7 elements (passion fruit, fresh mint, sugar dusted, large grains perfectly cooked, coconut, other fruits, blah) - I learned things.

Cute, artsy location. Big variety of food. I had a lovely avocado boat with a poached egg. We waited a while for the food, but the place is crowded so don’t forget to book a table in advance. Also, don’t forget to try the snickers cake!

I saw this place on instagram and went there to try vegeterian bowl. I ate oriental bowl with quinoa, hummus, veggies etc, it was tasty, and the price was around 12-13euros. The portion was big enough. I will definitely go back. The coffee was ok too.

I went to Plain Kitchen Vienna for a brunch. I’m glad that I gave a try. I ordered “poached eggs on Madame Crusto with ham”. I liked it very much. The ingredients were placed really well for you to enjoy your dish. The cappuccino was also amazing. Probably coming here soon again!

Its a very nice place in a very nice location. The food quality is quite good . They are indeed creative! But when you go there for brunch be ready to wait 45 minutes for one egg dish.The people who work there are nice but because of lack of personal they are not able to satisfy the customers. Unlike the food the quality of coffees are really low. Its hard to understand why.

Great vegan food and amazing service. We ordered beyond vegan burger with sweet potato fries, vegan burger and vegan chicken nuggets. Beyond burger was excellent but all vegan chicken dishes were a bit overcooked. But overall great atmosphere , very good location and would go again for a beyond burger. Note: on a pricier side.

Excellent menu with some options for meat eaters. I had the beef burger. The burger itself was very plain without any spices, not even salt and pepper. But the sauce and toppings made up for it. Also the beef patty was very brittle; there wasn’t enough moisture to keep the patty together. Fries were excellent. Overall very good. The waitress was terribly shy. She tried her best.

Loved my Açai superfoods Bowl. Plain and simple - delicious! Service was attentive and very friendly, made me feel right at home. Not to mention the chill atmosphere and cool location. 🤩 Will definitely be back. Two thumbs up 👍🏼👍🏼

Really good experience. The food was great especially the lemon chicken, the service was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our dinner. Just one tiny thing to improve- please add less sugar to the desserts.

I went there for brunch and I was very satisfied with the quality of food. We had the breakfast combo that included one savory egg dish and a sweet bowl. The poached eggs on the bagel were delicious and perfect! The açaí bowl was not the best since it tasted just like banana purée. The service could definitely be improved, it was hard to catch attention from the waiters. Overall, the food is great and I will definitely come back to try their bowls that look amazing.

Great experience!! We didn't have a reservation a Sunday morning, but the waiter was able to get us a table. The first impression was really nice, a cozy and artsy space. The service was good too We ordered and shared the burger and poached eggs and they were amazing! Really tasty :) Great value for the money!

Everything was really nice. They didn't have a problem to remove one ingredient from my food, but for unknown reason they also removed it from my boyfriend's dish, even though he asked for it. Waiters were really nice and friendly. Overall, that was a nice experience, but I wouldn't say that it was the best food I ever had. Worth to try anyway.

Really tasty food with fresh ingredients and nice service and a great environment. I think it is more of the kind of place to go with friends than a date as it is bustling. The prices were fair and portions good! I highly recommend it!

Honestly, I don't usually leave reviews of places, no matter how good or bad the experience. But for Plain Kitchen I just have to acknowledge how amazing their hospitality was, going far beyond the needed. I have to leave Vienna in the afternoon, but I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in town.

Was delicious! Omar, the waiter, was extremely helpful when we ask for gluten free dish. Thay made it specialy for our daughter, and it was kind and lovely. The rest of the food was fresh and tasty.

The atmosphere is relaxed but there is a clear lack of professionalism which manifested itself by four observations in the space of an hour: 1) The hot squash soup came a minute after the main course and bio fries were served. As it takes at least 8 minutes to eat the soup (which was absolutely delicious) the fries and bowl were cold by the time I ate them. 2) I asked for pepper and got a pepper crusher but there was no pepper in it so I had to help myself and reach out to the one by the door as the staff was busy or didn't understand the problem with the first pepper crusher (it was a full house). 3) The waiter took forks from the head and placed them in the assigned cutlery holder. As he also roams around with the payment terminal it felt non hygienic. 4) There was a young lady who sat on her own and drank only a glass of red wine. She had a dog and about 40 minutes into her sitting and working on her iPad she left with her dog for 15 minutes and returned to sit and sip a little from her lone glass. Other diners in search of a restaurant (it is Halloween and I noticed many restaurants in the area were closed and the few open were very crowded) saw that there are no available tables and decided against entering (I could see it clearly as the windows are large). It seems the place needs management or training for staff to avoid such mistakes. Last and unfortunately least my lemon chicken bowl was too salty.

really cool place, comfortable, with nice decorations and a chill atmosphere. the menu is vast, the portion are great for their price considering vienna is an expensive city. the food is tasty and really good! recommend for sure! (avoid the espresso tho)
